Oh wow- I have been searching for a bad earth/wire all over but you made me realise it could be a bad a injector as well. I dnt have that special equipement to test though but this narrows it down alot. 3 weeks of trying different things, super frustrating

Hello great video I like how you diagnosed it
Please I have a question did you check injector waveform just by having ignition on? Or you were cranking and seeing what it gives you

Hi, waveform was done by just having ignition on. Cheers

Is this the only code you have?

Hi, i have a P0606 code pcm fault car is intermittent in and out of limp mode and pcm light comes on and off. Blue smoke from the rear and occasional misfire under load.

Hi ya Aden Blay, Sounds like you have an injector fault, but please don’t take my first word for it, you will need an oscilloscope to do some testing, unfortunately with an P0606 there are a lot of sensors that may cause problems, and the worst kind is an intermittent version.
Intermittent is unfortunately a waiting game to be able to capture data of cause.
Be great for you to get it on video,
Show the problem, show your diagnostics before, during and after with the results.
Good luck and hope you can get back with your results, and use your TH-cam video link on this video to help you along 👍🏼😎

@@graz-e.m.s hi, thankyou for your advice and help. Yes it is very frustrating i had no issue with the car and it decided to break down 4 hours away from home just typical. A few mechanics all seem to be saying injector fault too. I may attmept to remove them and see if i can find the issue if they come out with snapping haha

@@adenblay2302 no need to remove, removing will not show any problems other than any heavy carbon deposits on the tip.
Unfortunately oscilloscopes will cost a bit, but maybe being lucky with unplugging one injector at a time, although giving a misfire may stop the P0606 fault, but please be warned this method is without consequences.
Cheapest oscilloscope I know of is the Autel AL539B battery tester/oscilloscope scanner. I still use mine for quick diag’s and when I need reassurance then I use my Snap-on Advantage Pro.
      Good luck buddy 🤞

@@graz-e.m.s is there no way i can test the injector i watched a video of a guy using a multimeter on the ohmes 200 setting and he said to test the readings for the correct resistance?

    Thank you
Did you solve the problem permanently, or does the code occurs again.

    • @graz-e.m.s
      @graz-e.m.s  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Hi, this was a permanent repair, no reoccurring fault code P0606.
Injector was shorted internally, which caused a permanent fault in the ECU.

@@graz-e.m.s thank you, i had the same problem, with a similar car, i changed one injector but the problem occurred again, when i checked the wires and cleaned the connectors the code disappeared, i had an electric issue.
