7777 in ffvii can be executed with a chocobuckle without things i would call exploits. For example if you have your party at 9999 max health that is maximum, just escape 2222 battles and your chocobuckle will always give you 7777 health and launch barrage that only one enemy in the game can handle. Oh and ofcourse you dont need 2222 escapes if you just play with materia you can get your health near like 7800~ something and escape accordingly making it pretty easy to have and requires only things game developers put out in the game themselves to be used.

Yojimbo's Zanmato move ....man the shock of my life when I was fighting Ultima . I haven't screamed so loud in such a long time, I could not fathom that the move actually worked.
In my first playthrough yojimbo just yeeted braskas aeon out of the universe without me even knowing he could do that...And I just payed him like a thousand gil
I feel like Quistis' Degenerator deserved an honorable mention. It never misses. It's simply a Limit Break that doesn't need an exploit or a lucky break. The catch is there's about 8 enemies who are immune (plus bosses), but I'll take that over Cait Sith's 'Game Over' that's virtually impossible.
Specifically speaking, the Slots flag in ff7 doesn't prevent the move from happening, it just forces the reel to the next slot. That's why when you quickly cancel the reel after selecting the final slot before it force rolls, the move still works.
Great video! I love these kind of overpowered secret moves although I rarely even bother trying to use them because they effectively break the game. One thing I learned not long ago is that The End actually doesn't work on undead enemies, so bosses like the Abadon won't be affected by it.
Zell & Rikku might not of been Insta-win but they both had great abilities that could end a fight in 1-2 moves with the multi hit 9999 damage per hit overdrive.
Technically speaking, The End will not kill the final form of Ultimecia in one hit, because she still has to finish her entire speech, but it will drain all her HP. It's not really hard to kill her after that, but she still continues to attack you, so she is technically not defeated. =D
@@trisertricordoh2127, but the speech is triggered when she runs out of HP, so it's largely useless at this point, even Gilgamesh's Excalipoor can finish her off. It is also quite risky, as she goes berserk with Hell's Judgement/Apocalypse/Ultima/Meteor and whatnot.

I mean, overflow damage Death Penalty with Vincent. Is it an exploit? Perhaps, perhaps not, but the mechanic does work and is based entirely on elements under your control. It’s super tedious to do all those battles, but once you’ve done it you can just fire away
Glad to see this, I remember having Selphie in my team in FF8 and use The End for the bosses particularly with Omega Weapon which can be very challenging. Rapture is also another but not as good with The End though.
For Selphie's The End there is one way to more or less make sure she doesn't die before having the chance. If your set the game settings to ATB Wait, the ATBs of party and enemy freeze while a move is being selected or used. By using this you will have an infinite time to scroll through and select The End. I do not know if they changed this in Remakes, but I personally did this on the PS1.
The thing about the PS1 is that it loads the current scene onto the system's ram and stores it there temporarily, I believe. Because of this, you can open the disc tray and the game will still run, though anything that needs to be loaded, like the spell animations or AI, will lock until the tray is closed.
There was once in a time where I was playing FFX and I discovered and exploited a trick with yojimbo. What do you think of the Doom instant kill glitch from Final Fantasy 3(6) for the SNES? Target needs to have the status of "Invisible," then when the spell "Doom" is cast, the target will instantly die. This was not intended as Doom has a generally low probability to kill, and there are a good handful of enemies (and most bosses) that are immune to Instant Death. Some enemies can even get healed to full when you cast it normally.
Im not sure about the ps4 version. But the ps2 version of FFX you could pay yojimbo 1 GIL for the first time you get him (a.k.a the very first time you use him) and he will do zanmato, then after that you could pay him 1 GIL (no special conditions, just summon and pay 1 GIL) and he will do it 100% of the time
FFX2 has an Grid that you get as soon as you never exited a fight and beaten every single enemy in oversoul it’s able to unlock an attack called Milkyway (at least in the German version) wich causes 999000 HP damage but it’s almost impossible to get
Game Over is the only way I've ever bothered to beat either Weapon. I stumbled into the "Pressing O twice to lock in the slot" thing independently ages ago, which made getting Game Over relatively easy overall (at least for me.)
With Yojimbo's zanmato move, i was working out how to get it to work all the time. I got as far as working out how much gil you need to pay him in relation to how much health the enemy had. So low level enemies were like 10 gil to maybe 200 health or whatever. So if you can work out the math with that then you jave the answer.
Does anyone remember FF15’s Alterna with the Ring of the Lucii? Once obtained it has a chance based on an enemy’s level and max hp value to instantly kill them, no boss or enemy in the game is immune to this spell. And since the ring can be brought into NG+ without having to be obtained again, so long as you have the ethers and elixirs to fuel it, it can be used constantly.
One addition I'd make, even if it's not technically a move, is the FF7 All Lucky Sevens-status. This happens if you have exactly 7,777 HP, and causes you to do 64 hits of 7,777 DMG, totaling a little over 496,000 damage. It's possible to manipulate it using Chocobuckle, an ability that causes damage to enemies equal to battles you've escaped from. If you have 9,999 Health, you could escape exactly 2,222 times, making All Lucky 7's into a constant occurence. All Lucky 7's is an easter-egg type of thing, but it's open to abuse and exploits this way, so I feel it's worth mentioning.
based on my experience The End is correspond with status effect it's like ( level crisis effect the more the character is suffering the higher their luck will be ) so cast Pain + zombie+ meltdown and low HP on Selphie protect her by using Defend command to increase the rate of The End ability while scrolling safly againstPhysical attacks
Forgive me if my question is sophomoric but maybe someone else wondered the same thing. Does the "0ne Hit" occur from the beginning of the battle or after a while of fighting, depending on the party? I figured Zanmato for the top slot, easily. Thanks Berk!
Zells duel can do over a million damage at level 8 against omega weapon level 100 and is much easier to pull off than game over and the end. Also Vincent's death penalty weapon can kill anything in 1 hit but requires a ridiculous amount of grinding to get it to that point.
Ultima; Ultimaga, or Ultimega (it is still debated); Ultimaja, -and- Ultimate. There is a very secret one named Ulti- Perfect-Soul-Check-mate. Kills all enemies, even ones within 10 mins of cutscenes occuring thereafter, and drops infinite 7s and an infinite number of all possible item gain x 7 and unlocks Cloud, Leon, Zack, Angeal, Sephiroth as a hero, and Firion for any game with the sword named Shaolin Tao Seiken Zantetsuken for every one of them and an item called Ultragrand Paladiumattimite. It also removes otakus and updates your MacBook to 2077. This was introduced in 1999, June 7th from the May 27th release. I did this in 2017 and equipped it to my fork.
As an honnorable mention Hades LV5 in FFV bypass Death Immunity and on every versions except Mobile and Steam by using Mix you can raise Ennemy's LV to the Max of 255 and make it work on any ennemy in the game, except Undead.
interesting video, but I think it's kind of arbitrary that you don't consider jokers doom because it uses an exploit to work, but the cait sith one does too. To me it's kind of the same.
@Vegesther KOTR is easier to repeatedly master than killing a huge number of enemies with Vincent, esp if using the Mug Glitch to skip animations for stronger attacks and I'm pretty sure with Hero Drinks you can overflow before 8 KOTR
@Vegesther Fair point. The three here always cause death when they hit and can be used..........Or it would be, but selphie's the end can't kill undead (or affected by zombie). I use Vincent because conformer feels cheap, Vincent you have to work for.
O M G My neighbor was playing it Fighting Miluda Two Swords Shield Break 1. Shield Broken 2. GUARDED (WITH THE SHIELD ANIMATION) Miluda became a Memetic Badass among our gamer group BITCH BLOCKED WITH A BROKEN SHIELD!! *WTF* XD
OK! I do think Zanmato deserves to be #1 even though technically, Cait Sith's Game Over is the most reliable of the 3. reels 2 and 3 always start at the same point so once you get cat face one its a rhythm of 'tap.., tap.., tap tap." and you get all three. the fianal being a doubble tap to bypass evil flag. Cait Sith is an obserdly abusable character with a bit of practice. Zanmato though dosen't need practice hence deserving the #1 spot. Next up Selphie's The End first, dosen't hit undead they are immune, and second can be sort of exploited. Every time she uses slots it picks one of 15 reels that you can 'do over' to get a new spell, but each reel only has a choice of 8 spells with a varying number of casts. only reel 15 has The End. The higher her crisis level the higher her chance of getting reel 15 (so keep her blinded, and cast aura on low hp). reel 15's spell choices are.. ultima, full cure, wall, rapture, tripple, the end. So if you see any other spell than thoses, go back and reuse slots, don't just keep using 'do over' because youl'll never get it.
Can confirm on yojimbo. My platinum trophy picture is simply white picture cause it was taken when I yojimbo'd Penance. Worth the 40m gil spent (obviously can be less idk the calculation is 12gil or so but, duh no monster can beat u at this stage with 255 all stat, money is non issue)
I remember fighting the final battle (the part when ultimecia fuses with griever) and I rolled "the end". But I was mashing so quickly I skipped over it. 😭😭😭😭 I never saw it again.
Great video! I'm not sure what your specific criteria was for this video in terms of a "oneshot" but Zell's LB from ff8 is possibly stronger than Zanmato as it's due to skill. You can google Zell pretty much oneshotting any boss in ff8, including Ultima Weapon. No luck involved at all.
@Vegesther Yeah you need to use Meltdown first! Then you can kill Omega/Ultima in one Zell LB. That's why I said, I'm not sure what the criteria for a "oneshot" is :D
Nice rundown. Zanmato is king no doubt, especially also considering the sheer number of superbosses in FFX compared to other games. One thing that comes to mind still is the Ring in FFXV but I'm not entirely sure how it works or if it has any limitations (anymore). The other move you "missed" is Zantetsu in FFX-2 from the Samurai job, but its chances of success are abysmal in comparison so relying on it is not an option. pbirdman himself calculated back in the day that Zantetsu will have a 0.09% chance of success against Level 99 enemies (like Trema) if and only if you're at Level 98 or 99 yourself. Obviously justified to not include in the video since this is incomparably bad to even non-exploited Cait Sith slots.
@Vegesther New speedrun race idea: One person uses Barret+KotR and the other uses Slots...the winner is the first to defeat 2nd form Sephiroth in a single hit.
Would Gau's charm work? While it doesn't kill, it prevents any enemy from attacking, effectively makes them dead. It's not as good as Zanmato, since it's 80% accurate with 50% chance of it going off, but better than Selphie's The End.
@Vegesther Fair enough, then I shall invoke the powers of FF6's Possess! This skill the Ghosts have can instant kill anything! In normal play, they only appear in the Phantom Train. In glitch play where you replace Strago/Relm with either ghost. Now Gogo can equip it and kill any boss at will (once per dungeon / airship visit).

So if you can work out the math with that then you jave the answer.
why is emerald weapon not attacking while you have Cait Sith's slots action?
... also... I'm pretty sure I beat Omega Weapon np with my casual team. I died at Ultimecia tho
I used Zanmato to beat every superboss in FFX, and I have no intention of doing it the right way.
Or You can manipulate Your max HP to be exactly 7777, start battle without full health and cure that character to full :P
watched the ff7 Cait sith Game Over thing in 4-8 video and didn't understand a thing, then I've watched this video and still can't understand a thing
based on my experience The End is correspond with status effect it's like ( level crisis effect the more the character is suffering the higher their luck will be ) so cast Pain + zombie+ meltdown and low HP on Selphie protect her by using Defend command to increase the rate of The End ability while scrolling safly againstPhysical attacks
I got the Cait Sith "Game Over" slots once, and it was against Emerald Weapon. It didn't kill him though, just took out one of the eyes.
Just the best channel 👍
Forgive me if my question is sophomoric but maybe someone else wondered the same thing.
Does the "0ne Hit" occur from the beginning of the battle or after a while of fighting, depending on the party? I figured Zanmato for the top slot, easily. Thanks Berk!
I've used The End a few times...it's a pretty good move
For a guy that bought this game on day 1 and have played so many years. I just learn about Cait Sith game over today.
Well done, nicely made video!!! You have my sub good sir!! 🙏🙏
Zells duel can do over a million damage at level 8 against omega weapon level 100 and is much easier to pull off than game over and the end. Also Vincent's death penalty weapon can kill anything in 1 hit but requires a ridiculous amount of grinding to get it to that point.
Vincent's gun can reset after a certain point, Barret's Missing Score can also Instakill everything but Ruby Weapon with a few Mastered Knights.
Does alterna not kill everything?
hey man i just wanted to say that your voice is really calming. i like listening to it.
I feel a new mini series coming up. Top 3 ? in ff
I remember editing in "the end" as a spell back in 2000. Good times.
Yeah, with the GameShark you could add it, did it to
Ultima; Ultimaga, or Ultimega (it is still debated); Ultimaja,
-and- Ultimate.
What about vincent + death penalty? He can 1 shot pretty much everything when its stacked.
Very first fine I fought Penance I summoned Yojimbo and paid about 100k, and he did Zanmato. Still not sure what Penance’s moveset is lol.
How can I talk about FFX some more?
As an honnorable mention Hades LV5 in FFV bypass Death Immunity and on every versions except Mobile and Steam by using Mix you can raise Ennemy's LV to the Max of 255 and make it work on any ennemy in the game, except Undead.
@Vegesther Doesn't change my point ^^
You think penance is a failed final aeon or even an albed maquina?
Nice change up here. Love your work man.
What about noctis in ffxv and the rings special attack it can 1 hit admantoise
Congrats on the views for this!
Whats the track used in the first minute?
interesting video, but I think it's kind of arbitrary that you don't consider jokers doom because it uses an exploit to work, but the cait sith one does too. To me it's kind of the same.
For ff8 renzokuken works well enough it can kill most enemies in the game in 1 hit and with aura you can get it pretty consistantly
Would Vincent's death penalty attack overflow count?
Better off going for Barret's Missing Score Overflow
@Vegesther KOTR is easier to repeatedly master than killing a huge number of enemies with Vincent, esp if using the Mug Glitch to skip animations for stronger attacks
and I'm pretty sure with Hero Drinks you can overflow before 8 KOTR
@Vegesther Fair point. The three here always cause death when they hit and can be used..........Or it would be, but selphie's the end can't kill undead (or affected by zombie). I use Vincent because conformer feels cheap, Vincent you have to work for.
In the PlayStation 1 version of Final Fantasy 8. If you open the disc tray then close it on selphie turn you Deal instant death every time
Final Fantasy tactics: Two hands against Wiegraf hahahahahahahha that boss was trouble

Fighting Miluda

2. GUARDED (WITH THE SHIELD ANIMATION)
Miluda became a Memetic Badass among our gamer group
BITCH BLOCKED WITH A BROKEN SHIELD!! *WTF*
XD
Well with zanmato its impossible to get it 100%. Ever. But you can get it so high that you may be more surprised when you don't lmao
ive had The End come up only 3 times, and cycled right past it twice by accident :/
What about the 3 deadliest Dansg08 videos in history?
All prolly include bloodborne lol....or cuphead
Top tier comment
Tbh my favorite Summon has been Yojimbo for a long time. He isn't hard to use and the design is just great to look at.
But are they more powerful than Zettaflare?
Zells’ Armageddon combo may as well be here too. The damage it can do is ridiculous.
Don’t know if it’s only with me but I always pay Yojimbo 1000 Gil whenever I use him and the results are satisfactory.
what about cat nip ffx2???
To be honest I forget about the end so much in ff8. Only done it twice. Rarely use The character.
Obviously justified to not include in the video since this is incomparably bad to even non-exploited Cait Sith slots.
which would win vs the others
Havent watched the video yet. Let me guess zanmato is number 1?
But can you get Yojimbo to Zanmato Pennance for 1Gil?
Your affinity with Yuna would have to be astronomical, lol!
If it does Yuna must have paid Yojimbo by other means.
Does 777's take out any enemy in 7?
No
I once summoned Yojimbo and I managed to finish FFIX
barrets overflow can kill everything in one hit, thought that would get a mention?
yeah i was waiting for this too....both Barret and Vincent can kill anything on a normal attack.
@Vegesther yeah i know its a mission but it does still count as a one hit move no exploit right?
@Vegesther New speedrun race idea: One person uses Barret+KotR and the other uses Slots...the winner is the first to defeat 2nd form Sephiroth in a single hit.
@Vegesther why not?
FFX greatest game ever, thinking about getting a PC for Mods to keep playing. I have ps5
In ff 6 you could use an exploit and make an enemy invisible the cast x zone or "death "basically and it would wirk on anything and never miss
That’s a glitch that was fixed in the GBA version.
I always use the end on bite bugs or rapture magic
Lionheart 9999 x19 + the renzozukens I think the most dmg output for a limit break in any ff 1-15 except for dissidia opera
Another great video
Or you could get the Cait Sith accessorie in FFX-2 and use trigger pull...
The rate of Odins instant kill is more then the 7's so why include one and not the other?
