On another one of these before the questions started Matt sort of leaned in to get a good look and asked about something the interviewer had on a shelf behind them - the interviewer visibly perked up and seemed to get a zing out of it which made for a better interaction. Maybe it’s something he does to ingratiate himself with the people promoting him and his movie, but even if it is entirely cynical it’s damn’ smart.

I think that the roles should have been switched. Smith as Morbius, Leto as Milo, they just fit each others characters much better than themselves. Maybe Morbius would have had a personality, and Milo would be unpleasantly scary.
