When I got my allotment, it was small, months later my daughter noticed that the thick, high brambles that were out of control did cover a huge plot of land. I put in for it, it was known as “No Man’s Land” it took me eight months not just cutting and digging out the four foot deep roots of it but uncovering black bags full of rubbish all the way through it, other plot holders used it as a tip secretly dumping their rubbish. A whole greenhouse, beds frames, carpets, an old dead Apple tree, you name it, it was down deep. I was not going to be beaten! So many runs to the refuse tip…now it has raised beds and is growing well. 😃👍👍👍👍
So very glad to see your channel this morning. 🎉 I have never seen brambles so high! The Oregon blade will make short work of the brambles, it's the best. Really happy to see Curtis was there to help you, he's a hard worker as are you. This yard was exhausting, and I was just watching 👀 Can not believe how much you got completed, and so much more to do. Hope for part 3 the weather is better for you all. Watching from Oregon, USA. ❤❤❤
@@jennifercline7843 I have blackberries, poison oak, and these little fuzzy stickers that get on your cloths, pet, just about anything; and I hate them all. But I love Oregon. I have family around Maupin, Portland, and I'm in Roseburg. Nice to hear from another Oregonian. 🤗
@@normadavidson-mm3ux We lived outside Portland in Oregon City and dealt with the blackberries there. Glad not to be anywhere near Portland now. Such a beautiful city destroyed. Funny thing is I'm trying to grow thornless blackberries here. 😂 We will see how we do.
Wow that was hard work for you both, part three would be good. Wonder though who will look after it . Front garden doesn’t look as good when you did it ❤❤ Pauline
Kudos to you and your team, that was a very daunting prospect. I'm hoping to see the patio you mentioned stumbling upon. Hopefully the weather clears up for you next time...fingers crossed!
You need new sacks 🤭. I remember Dot and her amazing neighbours. Ladders are breeding in this garden. Dolphin, dinosaur what else can be discovered in the next instalment. Brilliant job!!
Yes to parts three through five, Dots yard looks so much nicer now, however it can still use a lot more work. The amount of bramble stumps in the yard was amazing after you blew the leaves and wood chips away.
Awesome work as always 😂 almost spit out my coffee with the titanic Acres Lawn care style clip 😂😂😂😂. Thrilled to see you guys enjoying your work 😊 And yes!ready for part 3 🎉🎉
I laughed when the dolphin slowly slid into view. I cannot believe how a yard can get so overgrown. So much garbage scattered around too. You boys are angels sent to this homeowner. Yes, part 3 would be great. I certainly hope you went for a beer after all that, haha. (I haven't seen part 1 so I'm headed over to view that now.)
Yes, I can't wait to see part 3. It was very surprising you both didn't find any big snakes in this horrible garden. I hope it doesn't get like this in the future.
Hi, so glad your back with your favourite plants...the dreaded brambles 😅, you should go for heavy armour on to tackle that lot 😀, what a difference you are making though. Well done lads, many hands make light work 👏 👍
Hi, What an amazing job so far. Brambles are a real nuisance, arent they. We dont have them as bad down here, thank goodness. Part 3 and as many as it takes to get it liveable please...Stay Safe Watching from Tasmania ❤️🙏👍🤗
Although I missed the dinosaur & his signs…the dolphin was perfect for rain & mud!😅😂 And then the dinosaur cap!!!!😂😂😂 Dot’s garden looks so much better! YES to PART 3! Would be nice if someone could pick up the rubbish to give you more time to work in the garden. The 2 of you are quite the pair!! Lots of laughs today!
Part 3 is a must. You’ve hooked us in this far so the final wrap is in order. My only serious suggestion is to totally clear off all the fences so the grow back will be manageable. The neighbor helpers are obviously not able to keep up with the vines and weeds but do an admirable effort trying. Love watching you guys in action.
It's amazing how powerful nature is. It smothers everything. If one doesn't dig out the bramble roots it is a mennace from hell. Well done guys. Great work.
There is actually fresh water dolphins in the Amazon River! They can be quite aggressive when feeding. They are a smaller version of the salt water cousins but still a large animal.
