      leftover meat+ leftover veggie+ any starch (potato/rice noodles), into broth, add some seasoning ( I love Tony's cajun and Kinder Buttery) and I usually have a decent soup.
      A couple weeks ago, I had frozen garden green beans, frozen butternut squash from the garden, a half bag of shredded hash browns and some sausage. I put that in a stock pot with broth and Tony's and it was amazing!

      I think I make burritos or pasta dishes to use things up. It’s just so easy to throw this and that together. Topped with cheese- anything will get eaten 😂.

    That was awesome. I love these videos. I have so much in my freezer and pantry and need to stop going to the store. Definitely inspiration to be good stewards of what we already own. Also a great time to use up pantry items in preparation for the holiday shop coming up in a few months. Thank you!!

    Oh, that's such a 'fun fact' -- thanks for pointing out the mustard acts as an emulsifier in the vinaigrette. I made a citrus vinaigrette that called for dijon mustard and it got surprisingly thick (for a vinaigrette), now I know why, thanks!

    The pasta salad looks so good! My husband makes a delicious pasta salad with olives, a can of green beans, peas and carrots, some artichoke hearts and sometimes feta cheese. Sometimes pickled onions, regular pickles etc. it’s a great use of pantry stuff and the end of a jar of olives or box of cheese. Gosh I’m gonna ask him to make it tomorrow! LOVE seeing what you make, thanks for taking us along!

    I have some of those fish cloths and they are really nice. It’s weird to me to compare them to paper towels because I really don’t use paper towels for much. Usually just for soaking up bacon grease or cleaning up a really nasty mess. But if it gets more people to use less paper towels, then why not!

    • @SeeMindyMom
      @SeeMindyMom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a crockpot liner. They're made specifically for the crockpot. I use them mostly when I'm making something that might scorch, like anything that has dairy in it. That particular crockpot cooks hot, and it has been hard to scrub.
