Winter the dolphin was not an ambassador to marine life. That dolphin was used by the Clearwater marine aquarium (falsely touted as a rescue facility) to purchase and keep captive many other animals. That place is a disgrace.

Go to sandkey Beach Park. Way more parking and only 5 minutes away from clearwater Beach. And plenty of parking also.

i remember going here with my family every year when i was younger and it being our go-to beach i love it so much but we sadly moved away and live across the country now ill love to visit again i am in love with florida

Just returned from Indian Rocks Beach, FL yesterday and the town is amazing. It’s also a straight shot down Gulf Blvd to Clearwater!!! Didn’t want to leave.
Sadly my vacation here has ended and I’m currently in the airport 😕 had a wonderful time with my fiancé and definitely plan on going back soon!

I used to go there on break from work.

Love it! We also love Siesta Key and Anna Maria Island - So many beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast.
Love clear water beach but it’s nothing like Hallandale Beach Florida beautiful restaurants and hotels.

everything freakin cost money in the US now. It's like playing monopoly but you started the game after everyone else bought everything and you keep passing go just to have to give it all away in rent
It was way better when I was in high school just saying. You would hear Beat It by Michael Jackson with all radios tuned to the same channel. Now it’s more of a tourist trap. No way would I want to live there. There’s no parking, no grocery store. As for the Marina, I’m happy they sold it to the city rather than to Scientology for way more money. Happy to be friends with the Mayor and City Council members.

Came back to this. Watched it a year ago and yes this is a very nice beach I loved it there.

Clearwater and I have a horrible relationship. Second time I went someone got struck by lightning (july 2019,) and the third time I got sick from Jimmy Hula’s. They messed up half the orders as well. In the 2-3 hours I waited there 2 or 3 groups left because they didn’t get food.

Expensive but an awesome beach.

Is it really clear water? We went to Gulf Shores last weekend and the water was brown. Very disappointed
Not sure it that is why its called Clearwater. Although we have been many times and it has been very clear.

I live in England and have visited CWB several times. Stayed at a beach front house owned by Linda and Angel Delgardo. An excellent place to stay, Very kind and helpful hosts. I long to return.

I love how the channel owner responded to and/or liked every comment EXCEPT for this one. It's hilarious if not a bit disturbing how devoted most Covidians are to these unscientific COVID mandates (there's still no legitimate, scientific evidence demonstrating face mask mandates had any impact on covid transmission rates within their respective communities--NONE).
To these people, you're not only not supposed to criticize face mask mandates, but you're not even allowed to appreciate seeing people get back to normal. It's pretty incredible!

Stingrays and occasionally jelly fish. The lifeguards do a good job of letting the public know. 👍

I've also been to white sand beaches in Cancun, Veradero and Phukhet. But I love Clearwater Beach the best! Due to pandemic, I haven't been to CWB in a while. Hope to visit very soon.

Yep, it's awesome! And the only reason Florida tourist destinations like Clearwater continue to be so popular is because Florida has a governor who didn't destroy Florida's tourism industry and force all Floridians to play covid theater the way so many other governors did in their own states.
I'm sure this channel owner--whose other comments make it clear she adores covid restrictive mandates like lockdowns and forced masking--would prefer to live in California, where tourism has been decimated by the covid-obsessed Gavin Newsom. Her industry is thriving thanks to DeSantis, yet I can almost guarantee she despises him and his approach to covid. These people seriously have no idea how good they have it.
