Interesting. I've had balance problems, and noticed a can, or 3rd contact point helped a lot. I bought a segway ninebot s, to get around, and find when I'm waiting for or in the elevator, I spin out of boredom. My balance is far better than last year, and this may be why. The segway also is operated with the legs/hips, so it helps me keep moving too.
As we are more and more home based, some of us may not have swivel chairs available. Do you have a suggestion for modification or alternate tools to use for these drills? Thanks so much!
As a kid I always had ear aches and got nauseated really easily doing anything that spun. Was it maybe as a kid I just did not to it enough as well? As an adult I am finding it is causing more problems like vertigo, and making my athletic performance suffer. Running or even walking stairs can be scary (unbalanced), as well as running or walking on uneven surfaces.
Here is a link to our videos on balance. Try them and notice how you respond. Also, only you know what's going on in your body and your condition so if you know one of these exercises won't be good, skip it. th-cam.com/play/PLqmACbb0gE-96FEbD6MnrjIEPmFaN8Bdw.html
