As the owner The center console is designed for rear passengers The LED reflector headlight illumination is dimmer than MYVI. although it looks great from outside, when you’re driving at night or heavy downpour, it is a terrible experience The 360 camera only up-to 25km/h should allow it at higher speed, as the competitor has lanewatch or at least work with the same speed as Geely X70
Hi pls do your research before saying the E and G spec difference is just only leather steering wheel & automatic climate control. Because E also excludes: 6 speakers with different Amp Electrochromic mirror Front parking sensor Bigger front disc Rear disc brakes Pls. Although you can’t really tell apart from it because it looks identical. But there’s a difference. Just the brakes alone is worth the upgrade!
If yaris hit fuel economy of 13.5 km per litre overall and 20 km/l on highway, then vw passat is considered very good at 12km/l overall and 17 km/l on highway for such a big car. Cheers.
"RM2500 body kit I'm sure you can get it for free from your SA if u ask nicely" I was pretty sure it's a joke but u say it with such stern voice and sounded all serious
if you look around, all new facelifted vios and yaris came with bodykits. these bodykits has been free for as long as i can remember as part of toyota promotion. there are no facelifted vios and yaris without bodykits on the road now
it comes with the bodykit but only during the promotion period. I think the promotion still going on ( I got 3K rebate n free bodykit ) if there’s no promotion, you need to add on 2.5K.
There is no autonomous braking system but rather early braking warning. In the G variant it uses all 4 disc brakes and you have a electronic climate control while in the E variant you get the manual analog dial type that you see similar in the Myvi. But yes the E variant is better value for money.
Facelift E no longer gets the manual analog. It’s the same as G spec, only excludes Leather steering wheel Automatic climate control Sound system Electrochromic mirror Front parking sensor Rear disc brakes
Not unknown, just unclear. We can have a clue as to why when they replaced the Yaris with the "Starlet" - a rebadged Suzuki Baleno - which in India is also known as the Toyota Glanza. We can only speculate the reason for this, but Toyota is a business so it must be a cost-cutting measure. In fact at least five of Toyota's models in South Africa are rebadged Suzukis. The Baleno - and probably the other rebadged models - is likely cheaper per unit because of the massive capacity of Suzuki-Maruti's manufacturing plant in India. It's cheaper compared to increasing production in Thailand (where the last Yaris was imported from) or introducing new tooling and assembly line in India.
It nice cabin and driving experience but the storage quite low need to buy shoppe cup holder place at the dashboard and for rear passenger as Toyota vios/yaris not so ergonomic..need to improve i think as previous model offer much more storage
No offense but... Not everyone drives with their hands stretch is ah beng... Just like how you are not apek when you like to drive with your face planted into the dash. Just saying.
But nowadays toyota build quality is quite bad… more problems from infotainment system toyota radio is very bad also the accessory umw toyota like scuff plate is bad, also after certain miles you can here the v-belt tensioner noise(burrr) in low idle… but overall it is ok car for daily
I drive a 2019 Yaris and it's a very good car! Highly recommended.
As the owner

i think it is still a good car it's still the best selling along with vios I've seen everywhere
This car pops everywhere on the road. Unnoticeable but if you care to look, you will find them as often as a saga or even facelift myvi
For Vios and Yaris another difference from the mid spec E and the high spec G is the rear disc brake

i can't decide between the Honda city hatchback or this one? which one is better?
Toyota is better pal
why no one review toyota vios g 😢, i guess yaris g is the closest review available, excellent review btw, tqq 👍🏻
Outdoor no need wearing mask anymore mah...Voice without mask is clearer...
unprofessional
yeah, put me off of watching the whole video
I want to ask one question between Yaris G and Myvi Advance 2022 Which are the best choice for safety and for Long Distance?
Yaris wai
Yaris, no doubt
Love your review, how's the overall NVH compared with the Vios & City? Which one has the most quiet cabin, say cruising at 110kph? Thanks, bro
Thanx for the review...already made the booking.
If i were to get a car, objectively which is better car? ATIVA OR YARIS???
Yaris for refinement and comfort, ativa for practicality and if you prefer a taller car.
didnt expect a 2022 yaris

Keep up the good work Jonathan! I loved the steady and clear voice, not to mention the superb editing!

Im sorry to say this but there is AEB equipped in this car. Not just a warning.
Is there any BSM for this car? Or any type of censor
Yes it has bsm
The fog lamps housing look like inverted commas
I’m thinking between myvi or yaris , any suggestions?
Yaris bro
Amazing review bro... Tq... 👍👍😊😊
Toyota stopped selling this car in South Africa for some unknown reason 😕

y u didn't mention about armrest. that armrest is way back and not comfy at all.
Does yaris have auto rain sensing?
why wear mask outdoor with no one around 🤔
You forgot to tell about G spec have rear discs brake , that's y G spec a bit expensive so still worth to buy G spec.
can always fix an aftermarket rear seat aircon such as the baseus usb fan or the one that mounts on the roof
Is this a daihatsu or a toyota
Toyota
I love it
Center arm rest totally useless for a driver . Toyota should refines handbrake position .
I like this guy 👍
great
No offense but... Not everyone drives with their hands stretch is ah beng... Just like how you are not apek when you like to drive with your face planted into the dash. Just saying.
Why do you have a mask outside in 2022? Not hating, just utterly confused as it mumbles your voice, and looks regarded
Seriously guys, this stubbornness not to lose the mask is getting ridiculously silly... Wearing mask outdoors 🙄🙄
Wtf is the cheapest or protong that u praise is the cheapest

Surprising comment. Btw most Yaris owners got very very little comments on the quality.
Biasalah, kbanyakan bukan tulin ori😅
Him again…. great……
As soon we'll meet babe
That is one expensive Myvi
Get ativa la
Yaaa…already cancel my Yaris booking and go for Ativa AV . Next month I’ll get mine…😂😂
Ativa’s suspension is super uncomfortable for me. Totally turn off
