In today's video, I will be showing you all of the perfumes I currently own. Quick disclaimer: most of my perfumes are high end brands and are not cheap. Perfumes tend to be a go-to gift that people buy me for my birthday and for Christmas, and I'm very lucky! You will notice in the video that I am not the best at describing perfumes, but I have got you - and the notes are listed for each and every perfume below!

I’ve been using up my perfumes lately and am loving it. I don’t know why I used to set them aside for “special occasions”. I’m really enjoying really great scents every day.

I read a book all about perfumes once, and the author interviewed a number of 'Noses' and a Perfume Critic (there is such a thing as Perfume Critics!)
Anyway, if perfumes are kept in a dark cool place, in their box , preferably in a place where they aren't exposed to the light or variations in temperature, they will last 200 years.
I was astonished!
Apparently, the 'Best Before' that perfume houses put on the boxes are marketing.
If you find your perfumes change smell quickly, then you are storing them incorrectly. Sunlight is their enemy.

I don’t recommend this one
If you keep perfumes in a dark and dry place, they last indefinitely. The most that will happen is that the top notes evaporate. I still use my moms no 5 from the 90s. Some people buy vintage bottles from 70s and 80s that are still good. Now, im not a hoarder but i feel perfume is one of the things i don't need to be afraid will go off. I do hear some do go off and i've not had any do us.
How long does you estimate it takes you to finish one perfume?
Have you seen the Beauty News video where they spray a 30ml bottle of Fantasy until it's gone. It takes 500-600 sprays, so bear in mind that if you only spray once per day it will take around 18 months to only use 30ml.
Yes! I keep my perfumes in my wardrobe which is completely opaque. They last very well but generally I am good at cycling through my collection and using things up before they are 2 years old. A 30ml perfume probably lasts me 4-5months of daily or almost daily use.

I’ve had it a good while, I just started wearing it everyday because I love it 😍
I will repurchase it again in future but not for a while. I got some perfumes for Christmas so I’m stocked up at the moment and don’t want to accumulate too many. Yes definitely try it out when you can - perfumes always smell different on the body than in the bottle 🤗
