@@BMWDoctor hey i have a question. On my e60 535d 2004 when i hit kickdown the gear doesnt change and it locks the rpms at 5000 and i let go of the gas pedal and it starts to shake the car and its normal after 2 seconds. What should the problem be?
I would like to try the x431immoelite pro cause there is no one available in my area that does keys or module swaps and I can make alot of money that way
i am struggling to understand the layout of inpa this seems to be a perfect system for a diy fella who just wants to diagnose some faults with fuel trim and reset some dash lights. thankyou for your videos you have been a lifesaver for both my e39 and e70
I've been a massive Snap On fan for a long time bit the first time I used a friend's Launch it just kicked the Snap On to the kerb. Its just so easy to use and intuitive. Top bit of kit ☆☆☆☆
I've been looking at this scanner for a while now. Got offered it for half price in a FB tool test group but couldn't get it due to medical bills. It looks like the same tool as the TopDon Phoenix Smart as far as function and layout. I believe ADAS function is an upgrade you need to purchase separate. Great tool! The size is perfect too.
Ive got the launch euro tab2 and love it, ive got a few others of various makes i use also, i use the launch for work and jobs at home but having the two boxes can be a pain to keep moving from work to home and back, was looking into keeping a smaller tool to keep at home and the elite looks to be what I'm after .
I am in the market for one of these scan tools I nearly bought the Topdon 600S because they offer Lifetime Updates. But can't do coding. So this one is in my short list.
I like how thorough and concise is the review. No useless chat and well filmed. With an e93 and an e70, I have tried a few cheap tools. Maybe it's time to upgrade.
Wow it has amazing features. I've once rented one of their lunch scan tools they're really good and user friendly. I would love to own this particular one in the video.
It looks good. I have done a few revues on scanners and I will say the Launch are well built. I have the CRP 919E BT that I bought, and I will be doing a review of it. I bought it and it wasn't given to me. I did do a few reviews of Xtool scanners on Amazon.
Thank you for a thorough review. It would be good to know the level of support for EV's. My Wife has a 2020 Renault Zoe and I need the wind in the rear brake calipers to change the discs and pads. I have a Vauxhal Vivaro e life and would like to change some coding options. But I understand the Stelantis Gateway is a hard one to crack!
Great video. Love Launch i have a Creader Elite 205 for years and it's still going well i'm a school van mechanic and use it ofter it's always updating so it's still useable on todays vehicles my job have Autel scanner for the shop i only use it for the stuff that this can't do now that prices are coming down on scanners i'll save and get one like this one that has a reasonable price.
I have an old Diagun 4 that is not much bigger than a smart phone. It has served me well for years and is, still, a very capable tool. Personally, I prefer the Bluetooth versions as it lets me work all around the car whilst carrying out repairs but to each his own.
Hi Dean, love the video it was very informative and very helpful you have showed us it looks great good size not too big it’s a good size to carry around. To use it looks very easily explained.I am looking for it. Thanks for sharing the video. Great work keep it up mate.
I like the look of this scanner, I’ve had a pro3 for about about 7 years. Unfortunately it’s no longer serviced with updates. It still works extremely well but getting very frustrated with all the Chinese pop ups that bombard you every time you fire it up. Would love to find a way to block these pop ups-- very frustrating.
I have a Creader Elite on the way and I have seen reviews that suggest that you can purchase and download software for other make vehicles in the "Mall" feature as well. This one definitely has more features though.
Hi BMW Doctor. Anotger great review. LAUNCH really seems to have covered everything. Question for you...Would this tool be suitable for BMW Gran Coupe models from 2012 - 2018??? Thinking about upgrading the car & I like these models. Thanks
Obviously a very capable professional scan tool that is affordable, even for the DIYer. I really like the convenient form-factor and the robust build quality. Great review!
wow comprehensive tool . more than enough features for most situations . have to say scan tools have certainly come me on a long way in the past few years . definitely needs with a modern car and the price of a diagnosis now days is through the roof just to plug a tool in let alone repair it . thanks for the walk around
This Launch Pro Elite V1 scanner looks like it will cover all the things us DIY people, and Professionals, are looking for. As a long ago Mechanic, these tools have become a necessity to do simple tasks, such as rear disk brake jobs, with electronic parking brake incorporated. Or opening a throttle body for cleaning. And so much more. And at a VERY AFFORDABLE price. Thanks BMW Doctor for a great review of this tool, and tipping us off on the giveaway. Stay safe everyone!
This is my dreams to own a Launch X431 scanner..as for now i'm still borrow a Launch X431 Pro scanner with my friend and he's a mechanic as well..honestly it's good scanner can do many thing as friendly user as well..but for now still can't afford to own one to do scanning on my job as a mechanic..one day i will buy one of the X431 version..just need a patient..great video doc deen..thank you for the review..
I have a massive delemma..i have seen the Xtool D8w and keen on it how does this Launch stack up.? Main things are key program and Airbag ecu reprogram but also want to activate and diagnose many other vehicle brands.I have a vehicle workshop.
I have the launch x431 pro3s+ which do you think is better? I can’t find the right scan tool for bmw for some reason. Mt launch does pretty good but not as much as I need for bmw.
I am looking to get a scan tool soon. I hope this one does everything that I needed to do for my BMW. I have been, what are you looking at Many different manufacturers
I wouldn't mind at all getting this for free. Looks like it maybe better then the Topdon Phoenix Lite 2 that I used to have that I'm thinking of getting another one which I really liked and wished I never lost it.

I have a CRP919E and I love it so much, it can do a lot of stuff, this one looks more professional though, bigger screen, slimmer and maybe faster.

As a bmw DIYer been using xtool as my diagnostic tool. This looks good for bimmer boys
Thanks for reviewing this Launch scan tool. For BMWs only, how do you think it compares with ISTA+?

Really slick unit! Love my current Launch scan tool. Great overview and demo!

They are on old Autel units at present. Still have an older CR129 myself too.
I own a Topdon 800bt , but this seems like it does a lot more. I shall look at other reviews on the launch.
