I just bought this kit after watching your video. I was in hobby lobby this morning looking at some of the stuff in the kit and you saved me some money by not having to piece this kit together.. thanks for sharing the unboxing. Your videos have been great since I started this hobby late last year. Keep up the great work 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
From your advice I think I will buy this airbrush kit. I'm 67 years old and always wanted to try my hand on airbrush and painting with spray guns . I kinda suck at painting but I am retired now so I think I will try it as a hobby Enjoy your channel Not as boring as the other guys showing how to airbrush
I’ve got a master airbrush when I just started out. The 2 mil nozzle broke up the first day, the O rings got brittle a year in (even tho I didn’t airbrushed that much + I maintained good cleaning) and now it just leaks air and becomes unusable. I would recommend a better one like Harder Steenbeck Ultra or their Evolution airbrushes
I now have three airbrushes in my tool kit - a Sparmax Max 3, a GSI Creos Procon Boy PS 289 (by your recommendation), and a cordless iBeautee airbrush (same model as the NoName by Spraygunner but branded differently, also by your recommendation). I love them all. Every time you show a new airbrush I remember your reply to a previous video - “Collecting tools is the fun part, the kits are just along for the ride.” It strangely is true. The instruments make the process more enjoyable and makes me appreciate the hobby more so.
Im 55 years old and about to start air brushing ,I have only used the old testors air brush they had with the canned air . I just saw your video on this and ordered it lol. You explain air brushing where I can understand the concept. Thanks for the awesome advice in your videos. :)
Ordered and got mine about 2 weeks ago along with a No Name cordless compressor which then spiraled to also picking up a paint booth off Amazon and other things to get me started in airbrushing coming from brush painting with Tamiya and Mr. Hobby paints. Barbatos Rex, glad I saw your review of the airbrush and have been watching many of your other videos, it convinced me to transition over to airbrush and get me back into the hobby of model kits (cars and Gundam). For anyone out there that may have goofed up like I did when reassembling after a deep clean and breaking the threading of the 0.3 nozzle when reattaching it (didn't realize how delicate whatever metal it was made from was), I found the Neo for Iwata nozzle N0801 was a matching replacement and looks to be made of brass. Cost $15.75 and I picked it up at my local Blick Art store here in Beaverton, OR by chance today when I stopped by to check out if there was anything I could get for my workbench that I'm slowly building and arranging.
I bought one of these airbrushes after watching this video. Surprisingly good for the price. Defiantly would recommend it for someone on a tight budget.
You just showed and convinced me to my to be soon primer airbrush. For those results you get good for your bucks. Was surprized to see how it was performing. Not always cheap is bad. Learned another lesson today. Thank for testing and showing it
@@josecollazos6 I use a Tooty air compressor by Spray Gunner. Here's a link to it amzn.to/3VkKAGp I get my paints everywhere. Because I want to try every brand I have to go to several web stores to find them all.
1st off nice kits that you are giving away. 2nd very impressed I bought something that was about 40 and came with everything it needed but none of the special stuff. But I wanted a gun handle version which I got. I have yet to use it since I bought a mini compressor for it. I gotta learn the differences between thinner and using the right one for the job. I use spray paint for now but seeing you use that chrome paint and I'm like I need to just get over any fear and just go for it. I'm working on a bunch of mini, a Megatron Model, and a Tank model I just bought. Tank is my 1st military model and my Father was a gunner on a tank and worked in the motor pool. I will have to check out more of your videos.
Bought this on your reccomendation from this video. Really great first time air brush. Very happy with results thanks for your help with this purchase.
@Barbatos Rex, after watching your video regarding this awesome airbrush, I purchased one last week (December 7, 2022), from Amazon. The airbrush arrived in today's mail. Everything you mention is in the box and all of the plastic cups fit in mine. The airbrush set is still available at Amazon, and this week, it is currently on sale with an additional 15% discount. I wouldn't have purchased the set if I hadn't of viewed your video. Thank you for your expert videos and you have made my day ! I will continue to view all of your videos for future recommendations on superior products to outfit my modeling bench.

Loved seeing how that .5 pushed the primer easily but didn't drain the cup quickly as others do. Nice having the option of the three needles but also the added bonus such as the larger cups. The hose looks like the one from Harbor Freight (another good thing to use this weekends coupon on). Having just ordered another 3 Gundams, I now heading over to pick up a couple of your panel lines and other enamels. 👍
Wow! $40 bucks with all that stuff, that's a no brainer. I'm picking one up and throwing the .5 needle in it and use it to prime and clear. Awesome deal!
Absolutely great choice for him. God bless you for starting him on his way to airbrushing. I started building at that age and I thank my dad every day for that. It's a wonderful hobby

I have a siphon feed airbrush that comes apart like that one and it is a pain in the butt to get it back together. That is why I went with Master for my other two that I own. Those two come apart in more connected sections where the flapper valve is connected to the tube that the needle rides in. I can buy quick release connectors on Amazon all day long for about six to eight dollars US.
That Noseru is cool. With the right paint job it would fit in nicely with my Star Wars action figures. Love that is airbrush comes with all the extras. Great video as always.

My first real airbrush - a Harder & Steenbeck Ultra 2-in-1 was a revelation; the paint flowed instantly and kept flowing. Now I've got an Infinity too. I purchased this set a few months back just to see what the hype was all about and the amount of accessories you get is impressive. Less impressive was the airbrush as It is difficult to clean under the fluid cup and dried paint builds up if you don't spend the time to clean it well. But airbrush snobbery aside, it works as well as any other airbrush as they are all basically the same. The needle & nozzle are the only 2 parts that dictate how paint flows out of the unit and the ones included are just fine. The accessories alone make this a decent deal.
@@barbatosrex9473 I already have the 2 gallon Fortress air compressor from HF. I've had it for a long time for small nail guns. Works great so I figured I'd use that with the airbrush. Watching your tool compressor for airbrush video as we speak. Thanks again!

I've just starting getting into modeling, first 2 I did with rattle cans and I REALLY want to start airbrushing. The price of this is right up my alley! Great channel, I've been learning a lot, can't wait to start putting it all to use!
Do yourself a favor, get a used Badger off of ebay, if there is a problem, which is rare, they will fix it for the cost of parts and shipping. No labor charges. You can also get nozzles and needs in most hobby stores. You can't really go wrong. These "el cheapos" are a waste of money in the long run.
@@josephgioielli so I did buy this one, was having all kinds of issues. Finally gave up and bought a badger 105 patriot, so far love it! Plus I was thinking on the same line as you said, I can easily get parts for the badger.

I just ordered the airbrush based on your review. I needed a water trap. I have a pancake compressor. I think I have an adapter that will get me rolling! Thank you the in depth walk through.
I have small hand compressor and airbrush from set, but I'm going to upgrade soon. I'm going to start with compressor (the hand one is too weak overall), but my new airbrush it this one.
Finally got mine ordered, been waiting weeks to catch it available. I’ve been using a Badger Crescendo. Works great but have been looking for an adorable gravity feed. Thanks Rex!
Just getting back into scale modeling at 50 (fortunate to be able to retire "young"). I haven't bought modeling supplies since the 1980's, so I'm trying to get in, without getting in $$$. I came across your channel while looking for model/diorama builds and equipment reviews, and was persuaded by your thorough review and the no worries price point...just ordered through your link and SUBSCRIBED to your channel.
Seems to be a good little kit if you can get your hands on one. But my personal preference is Iwata or Paasche. They have done very good for me over the years.
I’m just getting back into modelling again. I have an old Binks Raven from the 80s. Gonna get one of these based on your recommendation. Thanks! Where is that chrome base you are standing the airbrush on from?
These in expensive air brushes, for me, work amazing for larger sessions where you are applying larger amount of paint or primer. Fine detail work I find the tolerances and machine work reduce there effectiveness at lower pressures. I run with these around the 30 - 35 psi. .3 for paint and acrylic primers then the .5 for the thicker primers which is rare so I rarely use it. So when I do a car model I will use two or three guns, one for the semi black, one for body color, and one metal color for those parts if needed. Then I am not worried about cleaning in between and trying to hurry. I have a few of these and I polish the needles which helps with movement, but otherwise for car bodies, all the semi black, military where it's one base color etc. these work awesome. I use my "expensive" one for fine details, camo, flames, etc. where I run a .2 needle and about 10psi.
Useful video, thanks for posting. I'm new to airbrushing. Just put that airbrush and metal polish in my cart at Amazon (couldn't find the 10% off coupon though). I also purchased a Micro-Mark folding spray booth & venting kit, along with some valejo airbrush cleaner recently. What are your recommendations for a compressor? I don't really want to lug my big one in from my wood shop, and it's noisy anyway. Also, what other accessories should I get? I see you're using some kind of stand. I've seen people using cleaning pots. Do I need one of those? Thanks.
just got one today through your link and pretty impressed with the quality and price. it has more adjustment than my Iwata and at twice the price of the Harbor Freight air brush for 20 dollars, much better and worth it for all the tools and accessories that come with it. the 3 cup option is great, reminds me of the gun i have for auto body work. good content thanks.

Hi Robert:)..Just curious ..as to .. what's the difference between the crown needle cap vs the closed needle cap, and their advantages n disadvantages ..ty..Btw Love All Your Very Informative Videos!!
I'm not sure why they included both because you only need one type. It's for protection really. The open type just let's you get close for details. When you have a closed type cap the air tends to blow back making it hard to get close details. The open type cap let's the air flow out the sides allowing you to get close up without the air effecting the paint.
Well, you convinced me that I had waited long enough to buy the Gunprimer Raser so I did that. Now here you are convincing me to get this airbrush kit. I love my Neo, but I would love to have another brush and more options. Keep the videos coming, love watching your comparison videos.
I have this exact Airbrush, as well as a few of their other models. They do indeed have excellent customer service. Their latest maintenance kit comes with the good nozzle wrench.
first video I saw said don't use the wrench to adjust or change nozzles. thought I could do it anyway. Problem is you don't know initially how much force to use. Ended up overtightening the nozzle, breaking it.
Funny thing was 2 days before your last video showing this Airbrush preview I saw this on Amazon and thought what a neat deal. Not a bad tool from what I've seen so far.
Just found your channel and WOW! GREAT stuff! I also went to the site to look at the airbrush kit and BAM! NOT IN STOCK AND MAY NOT BE BACK! But I'm here for the content and happy I found your channel!! Thanks!!
What I've found is if you don't like MAC valves is you can run a secondary regulator attached to your desk. It allows the smaller compressors to run higher PSI for longer spray duration between charges while keeping pressure at your brush just a quick look away. Looks like a good beginner kit though.
I've forever wanted to get into gunpla and painting them, but never could. At least it's good to see that it's not that expensive to buy a painting set up. I found this neoeco airbrush on aliexpress with a compressor as well and it's 80 bucks. They have a bunch of kits at different price points and the shipping is cheap. I'm actually impressed.
Dang, but I wish I had seen you about 35 years ago when I 1st tried. Got that 1st set didn't know what I was doing, and made a complete mess of things. Ruined a rare kit - and swore off. I may just dig out some old stuff and try again :) Too bad this set is gone. I guess it Was too good a deal! THANK YOU Sir! A job, well done!
Thanks for this review! I've been on the fence with getting into airbrushing because of the expense of an airbrush. I didn't want something that would discourage me, so this looks like the perfect option!
I haven't done any airbrush work in forever, but your videos are making me want to bust out my old Crescendo out of mothballs and give it a go, if it still works, lol. Of course, maybe I will just buy one of these $40 units! Did you look to see if parts are available anywhere yet? Later!
This would be a game changer for people that prime a lot of pieces in one sitting which I do after cutting everything from the sprue. Some times instead of the iwata I use Tamiya spray cans depending on how many pieces I have to do. Again thank you for doing what you do. Wish I had a third of your talent and knowledge. Your making me to want to paint thinks that don't need it lol. Thanks Barbatos.
This will go on my Christmas list because I am looking for a. 2 nozzle/needle setup I have a master 844 brush but it doesn't work I've done everything and no paint comes out not even water comes out so this is the one, the smallest nozzle/needle I have is a .23 Iwata Custom.
I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I've been hemming and hawing on getting an air-brush due to the start up cost of the brush, compressor, and spray bench, but this and cheap DIY spray booth might be what I need to get the ball rolling.
Dang, I wish I knew about this sooner. I recently bought a new budget airbrush for the same price except the cup isn't removable so it didn't have other ones. I prefer removing the cup to clean so I don't have to worry about dried bits falling into the chamber.
Love the video and the needle size comparison, is it recommended to use the .5 needle when using primers like Stynylrex when priming models or stick to the.3 needle? The chrome segment has me really wanting to chrome something, not sure what but something.. cheers

I just ordered the airbrush based on your review. I needed a water trap. I have a pancake compressor. I think I have an adapter that will get me rolling! Thank you the in depth walk through.
Looks like a good brush to use as a workhorse
Absolutely
@@barbatosrex9473 you do great work keep it up it’s my weekend cup of coffee watch
@@Busterhotrod thanks buddy, new video coming later today
Thanks Chris and welcome back to the hobby
Aloha from Maui, Hawaii. Just got back into model building. Watching your channel is informative and great!
I saw your second video about this air brush then watched this. Nice!! Told Amazon I wanted one soon as they got some in. Thanks!
just ordered one. might use it as a dedicated primer brush.
You sold me on it. It'll be my first air brush so I think it will do well for what I need. Thanks.
Remember they'll be back in stock around Oct 10th
Thanks for the great review. Looking forward to airbrushing.
Seems to be a good little kit if you can get your hands on one. But my personal preference is Iwata or Paasche. They have done very good for me over the years.
Do yourself a favour and buy a Harder & Steenbeck Airbrush. You will have a new preference thereafter..
@@j3v167 Sir, I bought 5 iwata eclipse hp cs, all of them had manufacturing defects, i think iwata eclipse is not produced well anymore.
I’m just getting back into modelling again. I have an old Binks Raven from the 80s. Gonna get one of these based on your recommendation. Thanks! Where is that chrome base you are standing the airbrush on from?
Those stands are sold at Robot Kai and Spray Gunner but they are currently out of stock
@@barbatosrex9473 thanks! I have given my email so they can notify me when they get more. Spray Gunner.
my friend use that flitz as well and it does the job well
These in expensive air brushes, for me, work amazing for larger sessions where you are applying larger amount of paint or primer.
It's a great airbrush especially at this price point. Smart purchase. Thanks for your support
I've been skeptical of cheap airbrushes like I've used in the past but this looks surprisingly good!
All Due to Barbatos Rex s Nedeco air brush review video , I recently received this #180S NEDECO AIRBRUSH a week ago...upon receiving it, the packaging/box Alone Shows the quality of what resides within its contents.. I've been using this particular Inexpensive NEDECO air brush for a week now, & I Highly recommend it!!...but I wouldn't've been able to do so...If It wasn't for Barbatos Rex's Review on such!. .I had only ordered one of these air brushes ..& needless to say I've now placed an order for 2 more of them:):)....Highly Recommended .... not just for the quality & performance of it ..but All the supplied accessories you get with it ..which far exceeds its expectations!!...Thank You Soooo Much Barbatos Rex For All Your Awesome Car Modeling Tips, Tricks etc ..Very, Very Informative Videos!!:):)...Keep Em Coming:):)
Your videos help so much with product selection for my hobby dollars. Thanks.
Love it. Never underestimate a cheap airbrush.
Thanks!!
I wrote to the manufacturer and they said they'll be back in stock very soon 👍welcome aboard
I may just dig out some old stuff and try again :)
Too bad this set is gone.
I guess it Was too good a deal!
THANK YOU Sir! A job, well done!
Thanks for this review! I've been on the fence with getting into airbrushing because of the expense of an airbrush. I didn't want something that would discourage me, so this looks like the perfect option!
Congratulations, Drunic 92! That's a kit I've been waiting to be released again.
Thanks for the review! And the tip for polishing the needle was awesome, thanks for that also!
Awesome find! Will definitely be ordering one (or two) of these when my iwata neo craps out !
I haven't done any airbrush work in forever, but your videos are making me want to bust out my old Crescendo out of mothballs and give it a go, if it still works, lol. Of course, maybe I will just buy one of these $40 units! Did you look to see if parts are available anywhere yet? Later!
Thanks for the demonstration your videos are very helpful I appreciate your dedication thank you again
Thanks 4 the video, were did you get the gun stand?
Looks like a good kit. I'm looking for a air brush kit for me custom Hot Wheels. Have to look into it. Thanks for sharing.
I'll have to keep an eye on this one. I've been hemming and hawing on getting an air-brush due to the start up cost of the brush, compressor, and spray bench, but this and cheap DIY spray booth might be what I need to get the ball rolling.
Just ordered one of these, many thanks for a brilliant review.
Love ya work, perfect timing for this video, as I am after another all-round Airbrush... Cheers
New a new hobby... Thanks for the tips and techniques
You're welcome Rocco
IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE A REAMMER IF YOU HAVE AN ENTRANCE THAT IS CLOGGED.........& THAT'S A FACT JACK. THANKS FOR THE VID & INFO......
Dang, I wish I knew about this sooner. I recently bought a new budget airbrush for the same price except the cup isn't removable so it didn't have other ones. I prefer removing the cup to clean so I don't have to worry about dried bits falling into the chamber.
Great channel - honest assessments 👍🏻
Your videos are always so helpful, getting into GK and tips and tricks you have make the hobby easy to get into
I bought the Avanti and I think they all come with leaks from the hose.
Love the video and the needle size comparison, is it recommended to use the .5 needle when using primers like Stynylrex when priming models or stick to the.3 needle? The chrome segment has me really wanting to chrome something, not sure what but something.. cheers
