I just finished the game. I won’t spoil anything obviously, but I absolutely loved it. A 10/10 from me. I only missed 8 collectables too.
The game was everything I hoped it would be and more.
Moss is one of my favorite games for it's art, the environments, characters and animation is so good its truly inspiring to someone like me who want's to do 3D for a living
Quill deserves to get an animated film or show the world around her is just so cool.

This was one game I didn’t need a review for, because I was buying it regardless; I’m just so glad it’s turned out to be as good as we all hoped.
Now I just hope they offer us (early adopters) a free PSVR 2 upgrade (for both this and the original) and then re-package both games for new users, because both Book 1 & 2 deserve to be in everyone’s library.

I personally loved it, the story has some dark moments as well. Not something I expected but was more than welcome. I'm hoping there's a third one already and I just finished it. This and Wanderer I'm hoping we get sequels on PSVR 2.

I love Moss and your review of book 2 does it justice. It’s a beautiful game with an excellent soundtrack. You definitely highlight all of the strong points and weakness in this review. However, if there is a book 3 or third entry, they need to take some risks and try something different. Psvr 2 will create that opening, I just hope they don’t play it safe once again
Wow you really are a brilliant reviewer. This is exactly what I wanted to know about Moss and exactly what I didnt. You're great at avoiding spoilers and capturing the essence and the evolution of a game. I'm gonna love this one. Boom.

Haha thanks dude. Just to clarify, I said 6 hours minimum IF you play Moss Book 2 like I did, which was pretty laid back. I'm assuming PP's video isn't his first playthrough?

I wonder if we'll see a enhanced version of book 1 and 2 combined on psvr 2. They are such a great titles and perfect for people who still have to grow their VR legs. Probably more people without VR legs will join the community in the comming years with PSVR 2.

I completely agree with your review. It’s a beautifully crafted game, with lots of fun areas to explore & tons of puzzles to figure out. A definite must play.
I am absolutely loving book2 so far.. its definitely a charming game that allows you to get lost in its world

Cool, thanks. I still have a long way to go to complete the game Moss book 2, but it's great so far and picks up right where the last one left off. EDIT: The first Moss took me 4 hours to complete, and is in my top 2 PSVR games, so this one is a must have even at $40 like the first.
The freaking rolling beetles are so awesome, I was giggling every time I launched them into enemies… and the dash power is so epic to use….Having different weapons that functioned extremely different…. After coming across this video just a couple weeks since finishing God of War Ragnarok, I realized Moss Book 2 has a lot in common with God of War Ragnarok… both sequels are extremely similar to their predecessors, but they improve on them in every way, and in VERY similar ways. I think anyone who’s played them would agree.
Anyone think that we'll see a Moss Book I & II for the PSVR 2? Hopefully YES, and hopefully as a physical disc release.
Moss 1 and 2 are absolutely incredible games. If you have a VR and you don't own these games....go now. You won't regret the purchase. They are fun and everything you would imagine a great VRT game to be.
Mate, do you know if it's any better on ps5? Like enhancements vs ps4 and ps4 pro like blood and truth?

No, you're not alone, & even if I hadn't enjoyed Moss Book 1, a Neverending Story comparison would've helped get me on board.
Any word on a physical release for this one?
Loved the first and would want both to have a tactile place in my library.
No physical at launch, so we're hopeful for something a little further down the line!
I am super excited for this game. Not sure if I should get this for my PSVR or wait until the PS-VR2 comes out and get it for that system.
Considering there is no release date for PSVR2, and likely this game will receive a PSVR2 patch being this late of a PSVR1, you might as well get it now.

Needs to be on oculous quest 2 now. So hard to look at psvr after using the oculous 2. Also moss was so much better without fighting the ps camera.

While I loved the first game, this is a "wait for a sale" title for me. $40 is too much for a VR game in my opinion. will play this some time this year. Maybe November if there's a back Friday sale.

Utterly adorable from start to finish apart from the one scene around half way when I desperately wanted to stroke Quill but all I could do was watch her sob her little heart out.
I rescued a baby NYC rat 🐭 who we not domesticated and is very nice. Glad they show rats in a positive way as glue traps and poison tortured them to death. Can't wait to play it.

The MOSS devs need to make a VR remake of Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse in the same style as this game. It would be a VR remake of The PS3 version. Who’s with me on that??
Right now until jan 18 of 2024 if you subscribe to ps extra or plus to can get it for 12.99 or the combo under 25 bucks so worth it.
Looks great, but Im not buying any more. VR games till PSVR2.
I tbink Sony should now be revealing what there plans are towards backwards compatibility are.
If PSVR games will run on PSVR2 with enhancements, or they do an upgrade program, id buy more PSVR games.

This is the best vr game IMHO, I know half life Alex is a good game as well but the level of polish, complete absence of any vr jank and the sense of wonder of Moss is not something I have seen before

Younger gamers and younger generations will only know a mostly digital world and future.
Though older generations and gamers will likely appreciate the golden age of physical games for nostalgia, collecting, game preservation, etc.
