2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with HID headlights swap purchased from Winnower LED DRL Headlights.

Lights are listed as compass on Amazon but the compass and Grand Cherokee use the same size headlights so they will fit fine.

Love the new lights. I have 2012 and now want to switch mine out. Great video.
So disconnecting the auto adjust wont bring on any warning lights? It would just be like it didnt have them at all?
I am trying to install these lights in my 2016 Compass. The housings fit great, but I am stumped on the wiring as the factory connectors don’t fit the new lights. Do they make a converter for plug and play versus re-wiring?

Thanks for this video...got mine from ebay and they were very helpful and referred me to your video for installation and it worked like a charm. It looks like they included additional sealant on the one I received. I added even more just in case. My only issue was switching the positive and negative wire removal. After a week on my 2013 Jeep GC Overland with HID it looks great and well worth the change.

Are the DRL led's on by default? or do you need to have your marker/parking lights turned on? And also, do they turn off automatically when you activate the turn signal? Basically OEM style??
Can you put AStar LED turn signal switch backs in these? They are 2 and a half inches long.....or are the turn signals LEDs?
My friend have you had ANY kind of electrical issues with the wiring ? We are wanting to do the front head lights but “which hoping they have” smoke tinted head lights and then start researching for tail lights in the same fashion. Suggestions ?

How is the light output with the projectors in those lights? I have heard hids are a better option than leds for that style projector

I bought these headlights for my 2014 Compass, but am unsure which wires I am needing to switch out on the harness because there are 3 instead of 2.... Also my turn signals are hyper flashing.

Hello Hill. I installed the lights exactly like you recommended. However, I have run into a glitch. It's been about a month since install and my left head light has worked fine and have had a problem. When I turn on the headlights, the LED turns off. When I turn on the indicator, the LED turns off. This problem happened when I first installed them and went away for about 2 weeks only to return last week Any idea what to be causing this issues? Please help

Hey, I've done all of the same steps you did.. I can get every light to work besides the LED DRL I've tried all settings too. What is the trick to get the DRL LED to turn on?
Never mind. My wire taps weren't clamped all the way down. I'm now having an issue with my HID bulb not powering on or my ballast working on the driver side. I think it may have something to do with the Low Beam connector. The win power side for the low beam only has two prongs and a 3rd prong that is broken off at the base of the receptor.

concerning the two wire connect you tapped into, mine has four. two black a yellow and a pink. which one do I tap into? I finally figured if out. good thing I'm good at electronics. I love the lights.

Sorry I am not sure if it will work for none HID headlights. I think the connector may be different.

So the drls only work when the parking light is on or are they supposed to come on by themselves

Hi, I have a 2011 GC Overland and really would like to install these. My question is that the stock xenon hid headlights have an automatic leveling adjustment system, do these new lights have the same? Or is that feature just obsolete?
The new headlights have a automatic leveling motor but the connector and wiring on the motor is different then the factory. As of right now it is not possible to connect the leveling motor. Its not a huge problem. The headlights will just stay in a locked position.

What kind of sealant should I use?
A regular clear silicone sealant will work

If you have stock auto leveling projectors I would not recommend changing to these . Especially with stock xenon bulbs aswell.

Hello from Germay and one question: What happend to the high adjustment? The original WK2 connector is different from the connector on the new headlights. It is 3 pin vs. 4 pin. How do i connect the new auto leveling? Is there any circuit diagram with the new headligts?

Nor does it lack that automatic regulation that is imperceptible I just mounted that headlights illuminate the road in high and low better than the Originals if the help of that regulatio

Hey i had these installed on my 2012 gc laredo. The low beam and tur signal bulbs just went out. I managed 2 get the low beam bulb out but cant figure out how to get the led turn signal bulb out. Have you had to replace any bulbs yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@@chenderek8589 I figured it out somehow moisture got in the lens & burnt out the low beam lights. & there was a bad connection in the wireing connection that made the drl go out.
So do these come unsealed? That's both good and bad. If I get these, I'll take the cover off and put amber reflective film on the side marker. These are the next best thing besides changing the entire front clip on the 2011-2013.

I don't think you need to put the amber reflective tape in, I don't think it is a requirement. The headlights come sealed but they are not sealed the best.

I did the exact same thing. The right side worked perfectly, but the left HiD low and high beam are not working :( not sure what is going on. Should I contact the company?
Hey man, Same problem with me. I have a 2012 JGC Overland Summit. A guy said that I need to check the polarity on all three wires on the driver side connector. then run an additional ground wire into that connector and or light wire. not really sure how to do it though I'm not an electrician.
