Many of them are in excess of 1km in length and trains do 110kph so it's very dangerous. I've met a train at 30kph in a tunnel at another place called the Braganza Ghats where one needs to walk through a tunnel to reach the Dudhsagar Waterfalls which is one of the tallest in India.

viswanath e No railfans were taking selfies while trainspotting. Those were some local kids. I have absolutely no idea who they are. My friend and I were the only railfans here even the videos were shot.

Kudos to the great team for constructing such a high speed track in 70 ss..In such a terrain..
Construction was done in the late 80s and 90s, not the 70s. Nevertheless, it's one of the most challenging infrastructure projects in the world.

Doubling will be done in Stages. It is done up To Roha from Panvel. Possible from Karwar to Mangalore. Remaining looks distant.

Gotta say diva passenger is one of the worst trains( By experience) still it was fast...
It always goes fast like any other train. It's just not a high priority train and so gets delayed.
