MISTAKE AT 0:40 : IT IS ACTUALLY 2.5MFD 400V CAPACITOR, NOT 300V, AND CAME IN 36", 42", 48" AND 56" SWEEPS. ALSO 16+16 POLE STATOR

superb fan ! usha is not just a brand, it's an emotion ! and this is one awesome model you have got . however I have to say that you are lucky that the canopies havent cracked yet due to aging.

yes this unit seems to have low hours of usage in a bank or a office and some employee took it after it was discarded, and it prolly couldve been hanging in a aircond and less sunlight room while it was still in service. also there was a fully white CG whirlwind boxlogo near the prima dlx when I visited that scraphouse store room 3 months ago in perfect condition, no yellowing at all. but I didnt take it, and later it was taken by someone else.

@@electricalbro6308 you can try putting USHA senator or 80s HB canopies, can match since some export ones and later revs came with those, and those are much common

@@claxarta well yeah but whatever, the early 90's and all didn't have the pointy motor design so it won't suit and as for senator canopies of 80's, that's close enough but when that canopies were given with Kohinoor that time the medallion was changed to plastic so yeah, but anyways finding any old canopy is a mess

bro u needn't go to the mechanic to replace the bearings . you can do it yourself even without the use of proper tools. if you still have it with you I can guide you.

yes I still have it, it seems like both bearings are fitted to open sockets, i think no pulling tools are required

@@tintinfan007 LOL and it didnt even need a candle or a shaft puller. The bearings are fitted to open sockets and were not stuck to the shaft, I bought new HCH 6201 and 6202 2RS bearings. but fully disassembling the fan was a real pain and it required a lot of oil and WD40
