Afro is a cheatcode, got a compliment yesterday, tried cornrows recently for the first time, growing an afro is the ultimate game changer, and people nowadays aren't that used to it, it used to be way more popular of a hairstyle back in the day
Word, when I do my Afro style I get complimented the whole time but when I get my fresh cornrows not much haha. The only perk is none is trying to touch my hair when it's braided.
I love black men who have long hair, but have always been disappointed that it is always braided or loc'd. I always went for alt guys, but they were always yt. But to me a black guy with his natural loose hair, long and healthy is hard to top. Makes them look so majestic and exotic. Accentuates their features and makes them stand out. Whether the guy has a fro, curls, or waves doesn't matter. Its beautiful and shows how much genetic diversity black people have. I got tired of fades and bald heads on black men. They look like warriors with long hair. Now I like locs too, but they are too common. They dont stand out anymore. I'm half Lakota, half black. So hair matters all around and has power. You look great. Very handsome young man. Girls nowadays are very lucky to have young men like you who self care. Just remember what is inside is the biggest glow up. Ignore the haters. Learn to value feminine qualities. A balance of masculinity and femininity is amazing on men, and women value it. We like men who have a soft side, not afraid to laugh and open up about how they feel. Dont let the obsession with perfection physically get to you. In my generation it was bad, but your gen has it worse because of all the artifice on social media. Even women and men my age can lose self esteem when constantly comparing to people on tiktok or Instagram. But those people are editing their photos and videos as well as using filters. Others have had work done. Someday artificial beauty will be so normal, that natural beauty will stand out more. Just advice from a 30 year old senior citizen. 😂
@@greywitchwanderer9608 those Afro hair ancient warriors from African spiritualities in ankhlife is what you described Afro hair is trademark of Caribbean and Africans
Having a soft side isn't the same as having a feminine side. Men should NEVER strive to have feminine traits. Some women MAY say they like it, but they don't. They're the type of women who end up cheating on their feminine boyfriends and husbands with men like me. Take it from me, a half Irish half African American 32 year old senior citizen raised in Ireland outside of the American echo chamber
I had high top locs set for two years, combed them out and now been growing my whole head for 1 year and a half. Locs are super fun, and I didn't have to do a full cut but I defo lost a bit of length when I combed out.
Bro, you are extremely handsome, you're already maxed in the looks department. What makes you even more better and more lovable is your beautiful personality. Love it! 👊🏾😁
I just found this channel I love the hair and love your take on looksmaxxing. I really think it's just another way to make beauty feel more complicated and less attainable. Someone might be a 4 to someone, but can be found attractive to other people with particular preferences. There is no "way" to look unless you're looking for something superficial. That's why it's always better to be the best you that you can be!

I really love your hair and all the different styles you do with it. i’m a girl and i started taking my own hair care seriously last year and it’s a fun journey learning our natural hair and growing it, this is a really cool and unique channel i hope you do well and also inspire more black men to try growing their hair out too ^^

And the Dread comment was crazy not all people with dreads are a 10 and it was funny when you said if your a 5 and put on a chain or have tattoos your still gonna be a 5 but with a chain or tattoos lol.
Hi, im hopefully getting my hair braided soon ive been obsessed with the braids on some people and i love the look i have been doing so much researching and im excited to get my frist braids my hair type is far from curly but i have a ich to get braids you videos are so helpful and relaxing thank you❤
How do you get a curly afro ive been growing my hair for months and i can pull it below my eyebrows but it always flattens down when i comb it so it looks like my hair is really short and i dont know what to do 😢
It sounds like you have dense, tightly coiled hair. If your hair goes below your eyebrow when stretched you will naturally experience shrinkage. Using products that weigh down your hair may allow it to stretch more. Also using a diffuser after styling can lock your hair in a stretched state temporarily. But other that all you can do is wait for it to grow longer
Bro, Liver as unconvincing as it may sound. Is not bad at all, yes its odd (who the hell wants to eat that?!) but like, ive had some liver before (NOT RAW) ofc yk I had to fry it and make it all nice and crispy, and seasoned. But I honestly recommend it, specifically beef liver. Its actually underrated af.
Love ur videos, Tarik! Helped my 4a hair out a lot. Can I ask if you're East African? Because you remind me of someone who I know and they're east African (I'm mixed Jamaican and English).
@@malakaibuchanan807 tbh most Jamaicans come from Ghana & Nigeria. As for African Americans, they barely come from East Africa as Americans are mostly West African or Central African too
Brother you got a immaculate fro. My hair just about eye length after not cutting it since 2018. It grew faster when I had girls taking care of it lol. I wash and condition but I sleep on it a lot with no wraps. I been tightening up lately tho. My hair grows UP instead of OUT. So it’s longer than it looks on the back of my head but it never has that round look unless I go to a barber. Which I try not to since it shortens the length. You think you can drop a short on how to section hair & then wrap them little black bands around the sections? Just in case I’ll ask in a full video as well. I’m trying get at least Huey Freeman tier.

No one really has natural hair. The moment you put in shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner, curling cream, gels, you're anything but natural 😂.
