You've gotta bring that subconscious memory out to the conscious. The notion that there was never anything wrong with you. We've simply forgotten who we are... Who we TRULY are. We've just gotten a little lost. But that was the whole point..... right?

oneself ego assumed there is somethings wrong with self, the assumption pain which feels real on human body need shadow work to clear up the fake lies we tell our selves. sad right? yes our source is not broken, just an idea we have about our self that we are broken. silly human confuse as hell. we got it though, we got it.

Yes, its about getting rid of drama/past that arises as a plug in the drainage pipes of the heart. Today, Saturday, it became easier to understand the ways of it all. Its for my own goodness to live in peace and replicate the feelings all over the planet.

The first time I did shadow work, I didn't even realise I was doing it. It was in the middle of a psychedelic experience. Halfway through, my mind started bombarding me with all of my negative experiences, my shame, my guilt, my failures. I tried to block it out, but there was no way to. Usually when I get such feelings I try to escape by distracting myself, but this time I was in the escape, I was in the distraction and I had no where to hide. So I braced myself and felt all of the negative emotions, I held on for hours through the onslaught. The most wonderful thing happened in the morning. After going through some of my most painful traumas, I watched the sunrise and I just accepted it all, I allowed it to be. And I cried tears of happiness that made me feel like my heart was rid of a big boulder holding it down. All I wanted was my own acceptance. This was a pivotal experience for me and I have never been the same since. I have been on a journey to improve myself.
Even though this happened, i didnt know that it was shadow work that I did.
Almost 10 months after this experience, I was meditating one night and saw a vision of a shadow person looking at me. I was spooked, but I did some research. I read about Carl Jung and his findings and now finally I realise what shadow work is.
From now, I will take conscious effort to search within, forgive and integrate parts of myself with the light of compassion, love, meditation, discipline and prayer. Every person in this world needs this healing. The power is in our own hands. Amor Fati.
May you all find the peace within.

as someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder with several different “persecutor” alters, i definitely plan to try this to reach out to them. i really resonate with the truth that there’s no such thing as “bad” alters or parts of self, only misguided protection out of pain and trauma. thank you for this video

Healing is the real gold! To be healed is to be free - free from the pain, but not to the point of avoidance. Instead we meet it with open arms, and work through it patiently with love and empathy. Just how we wouldn't put a child down for an honest mistake, we must heal our inner child and develop into our true authenticity. The shadow isn't something to be afraid of. It's just a mirror reminding us of a blemish that needs to be treated with care. Namaste my friends. 💜🙏🏽✨🌿

I love the story of the ho o pono pono psychiatrist. It’s totally about this. Send your “demons” away and they will come back to haunt you. They are you. They are judgement of you. Love them and you really-integrate. People always give you what you are asking for by how you regard yourself. This is one of the biggest secrets of life.

I look at it like peeling an onion, layers of pain, anger, resentment, betrayal etc. I started going back in my memory an reliving these held in thoughts that no longer serve me. Peeling an emotion at a time, day after day peeling away the hurt. Our mind will start bringing them out for us, sometimes when you least expect it! Be the emotion then let it go, imagine your own disposal method, with forgiveness as the goal. I did this in 1987, I moved from Idaho to Hawaii, my 1st sabbatical, and while reading A Course in Miracles, when the course was distributed through word of mouth!

This spoke to everything that I needed to hear right now. I’ve wanted to do shadow work for a long time, but in meditation I kept finding myself hitting walls. As soon as I wanted to get deep, something superficial would distract me. I would be right on the cusp of something major and then I would start thinking about parts of my day, chores, conversations… things that were all irrelevant.
I’ve spent so many years in a career that I didn’t love anymore. I kept looking for ways out, looking for ways to find what I love, looking for my life purpose. Then Covid hit.
My autistic son went into remote learning and I knew that it was time to leave that job. While It’s true that the pandemic has been terrible for our country, it presented an opportunity for me to have a source of income (disaster unemployment), to be able to get in tune with and take care of my son, and to be able get in tune with and take care of myself.
So now I have a time and I have eliminated a lot of outside influences that were hindering me.
Still, I was having difficulties truly tapping into the shadow. I’ve found that the person I was at the beginning of the day that woke up with resolve and intention I was not the same person that I saw at 3 PM or even 5 PM when a drink sounded really good and that drink turned into three or four drinks. It was in looking at this division in my personality that I realize that there’s so many different personalities that reside in this one being that I call myself. I also knew that it is time to except every single one of them for who they are instead of trying to run away.
Last week I saw a class by Teal Swan where she talked about doing left-handed writing or non-dominant hand writing and looking at the different aspects of yourself straight on. Using your left hand to reconcile with these aspects of yourself, you’re also establishing new neural pathways in the brain. It goes into more detail and I won’t take up anymore of your time.
I will just say that I have a long weekend where my son is at his dad’s house I can take the time for myself to begin. This video was exactly what I wanted to see right now. So again thank you very much.

Thank you. I named my fragmented kid side tumbleweed. I remind her she is intense but still lovable. Having sexual abuse seems to cause a split. I've felt parts of me come and go in cycles. I work on keeping grounded everyday. Hard to stay in the body when one knows what it feels like on the other side. One and all

Listening to the Ra material, I realized that I am every color of the spectrum, including the red, orange and yellow. One day I told my inner light that I loved all that we are as one, even the so called negative. When I did this my body felt such relief to the point of tears. We are truly one creator. I have literally faced my shadow multiple times in multiple forms. At the time I was ignorant to what it was and didn't know it was a part of my unhealed self. So because of that for a short time my situation got worse because of the trauma of facing the fear but later I recognized the part of me and imagined forgiving it and healing it. Much of my shadow was created by false beliefs of myself and the world. It's a burden that can be a blessing when you learn one part of love is forgiveness, healing and appreciation. Much love to you and know you are not your thoughts you are the being behind the thoughts. Practice presence in your body taking focus away from the mind and if thoughts form only observe them and in time source will be realized more within you until you are present in all moments of your life in pure love and truth. Much love to you all.

I've never heard it expressed that way before and it's so empowering!! Shadow work is summarized as looking at the parts of yourself you've never seen.
I think my reality just blew up. I've been defining shadow work as bringing awareness upon all the wounds we have received but never consciously processed.
My new definition is: Shadow Work is the illumination and conscious reintegration those parts of ourselves we have judged, or rejected, to any degree without realizing that we have done so.
This definition enables conscious confident and powerful self-acceptance simply by reframing it to be neutral.

I don’t know if it will help anyone but I wrote in my diary all the things about me I didn’t like and then I slowly accepted them and said it is okay, it is okay I am loved I love I am perfect....wrote this many many many times and soothed myself to sleep. It worked! The next time I had to face what I would call a undesirable event, so for me public speaking, it was easier to deal with it. I was amazed medications helped but acceptance did a whole lot more.

Excellent video Aaron. Thank you. I wish I watched it 5-7 years ago when I had a midlife crisis where my unchecked shadows became so huge, they completely overwhelmed me and my life crashed into several pieces. Through lots of deep introspection, reflection, acknowledgement, I embraced my shadows and did lots of integration work to heal and achieve an equilibrium. It was a very emotional but a necessary journey because my shadows are firmly part of me and thats why now as I live a life of abundance, when people say love all parts of you, I know exactly what they mean. However, dont do this alone..try and work with a shadow therapist.

Fantastic video. Every sentence is a gem. I am doing shadow work for a few yeara now and for a long time I didnt feel a difference. But the last 12 months are amazing. Anxiety is gone, I have so much more energy, I manifest with ease when I release the blockages. But its not even about material manifestations. Its about being at peace. The only thing I didnt do is to Thank the shadow parts that are being released. It makes sense so I will include that into my routine. Thank you Aaron. You are a man of wisdom and your videos are the best out there.

What I find fascinating, is the fractal nature of reality. How you described the shadow in a person, that has to be integrated again to become whole, is exactly how it is for the entire universe. The negative polarities reintegrate with the positive polarities, to become whole again. The micro and the macro everything resembles its self. Beautiful!

Wow, perfect timing! I just went thru a week of pain and fear around finances where I felt I was being taken over by something else because I felt suicidal as I saw no way out. Lack of finances is the main thing that shakes me to my core but this time it has such a hold on me that I finally figured out it was something I needed to work through and to see in a bigger way... AKA do the shadow work and love it and it's message until it dissipates. Thank you so much for this video!!

Thank you Aaron! I recognized that i just did the integration part this morning by feeling genuinely grateful for the discovery of previous hidden parts of myself. I can see that some events and phases in my life had to take place for me to develop the necessary maturity, self-compassion and groundedness to actually accept these parts. I believe that i have seen them before but have brushed them of as they were SO FAR from what i believed i believed consciously. Its quite inspiring to make these kind of discovery. Many thanks to the Universe. Everything is perfect right NOW. Much Lover, Oliver
