- So while at home, I found this online flash game of street fighter.. Ryu Vs. Sagat. I usually rock at every version of street fighter!
But this Sagat guy is so friggin' cheap all he does is tiger uppercut you a billion plus times! 2 hours of that BS I decided to record it lol.. It was just too funny, I had to open sony vegas for it! haha..
He's just way to cheap and impossible to beat!!!

it took me an infinite amount of tries to beat this flash...but i finally succeeded! going against Sagat in the final round is ridiculous. either he will get you cornered and start Tiger Uppercutting you to death or will infinitely spam the tiger shot

Goddammit this game. THIS FUCKIN' GAME. It's hard, it's ruthless, it's unforgiving, and above all unfair. Sagat's tiger uppercut sends you higher than you can do him with Shoryuken and he can just use it non-stop, which is a REALLY BIG problem in round 3 as it is his favorite move. He can just juggle you in mid-air like a clown with 12 balls with no problem, and those flying tiger shots can move so slow he can just as easy keep you in the air like before. Your moves are a joke. Don't even think on trying to hit him without Shoryukens or Senpukyakku, because he will take your head and shove it in your ass before you can say "But it's not fair!"
The only good thing is that you can ignore tiger shots with Shoryukens. Ryu's Hadoukens are decent, but if he's close and you miss the keys you're dead. It'll be a non-stop parade of uppercuts and leg bumps, but the only redeemable thing is your defense. You can block almost any attack by crouching and moving away, except his jump-kick thingy if he tries that and you're late with either standing or punching him while he's in the air...you know what's gonna happen.
He's faster, stronger, and balder. By the time you finally beat him, you can write reviews and let's plays because you'll be a pro! Never in my life have I played a game so hard and insane, but so enjoyable when you finally see those magic words at the end.

I have a tip. Once you get to the final round with him or third round, Think smart instead of emotionally. Just counter his attacks when he can't block. I'v ebeaten this game many times

The wonderful thing about tiggers is the wonderful way they can bounce.... you in the air with a combo.

How to beat him? Easy.
Crouching uppercut is your friend, it has invincibility frames that bypass Tiger shots and has priority over everything aside from a Tiger Uppercut without the vulnerability of the shoryuken if he blocks.
Then bait him into a tiger uppercut by hovering over him 'till the last moment then jumping back, when he's descending hit him with a hurricane kick
Actually there *is* a way to beat Sagat on Round 3, But you have to use Shunpuyakyu Tatsumaki (You know...That spinning kick that Ryu does) But since the computer's A.I. on Sagat is a ton more aggressive with that Tiger Uppercut, There is a way to counter it because after a while of playing, I found it to be pretty predictable. If you can get Sagat in a corner and keep whooping away at his health without giving him a chance to move, It should be pretty easy. The only thing is those Tiger blasts he does. Some times he fires them slowly. In which case, This game can become very *Rage Inducing* because the 1st two rounds are no problem, But that Tiger Uppercut...There just doesn't seem to be a way to get down once you're in the air and I think that's what the A.I. is designed to do: Keep the player up in the air to restrict movement. You cannot block attacks in the air so it allows for more follow up combos and that consumes a lot of health. Best strategy: Attack, But keep your distance. You can even duck *Underneath* the Tiger Uppercut and counter with a Shoyuken. Different people, different ways a playing. Pursue your own style. =)

DarknessXxMaster It's the only way really. It's impossible to corner and beat up round 3 Sagat, you'll get tiger uppercutted into oblivion. His damage output, defence and reaction time improves greatly from rnd 1 and 2
That's why I'm agreeing with you; It took a lot of trial and error to finally beat him and that's when I realized that brute force just wasn't my kind of game. It's more like a strategy game by the time Round 3 comes around. One wrong move and you won't be able to move anymore. From what I also noticed is the timing of each move performed. It would involve a little more blocking but also knowing exactly when to attack and when not to because sometimes Sagat has ways of countering too. So yes, Defense and Countering is probably the only effective way of getting a decent victory from the guy. Though expecting to win in one try would backfire because the A.I.'s difficulty likes to keep the player on his/her toes.
I did officially beat this game once or twice. When sagat locks you in the corner he does that damn tiger uppercut over and over even when you're in midair
You can never let him get you in the corner because he's just gonna keep doin Tiger.. Uppercut
It's easy once you figured out how he plays.
Anytime your in the air, he will Tiger Uppercut you. So don't leave the ground. If you knock him down. Just keep walking towards him and as soon as he gets up crowch and sweep kick him. He'll never block until you get him to the corner. He'll block it but do a Hadoken followed by a round house kick + Uppercut for some nice damage to him.
If he ever jumps toward you, just do a shoruyken. It'll hit him even if it doesn't even connect. XD

Here's what I did: When I got him into a corner, I quick attacked, and I didn't tiggen uppercut. That will screw you, he'll block and tiggen uppercut you against the wall until you lose. When you're really close, use all quick attacks. Meaning z+arrow keys. He won't know what's coming next, and won't be able to block them all. Soon as he gets hit, do the spin kick and jump over him if it gets into a corner. I ended him during a battle where we just through those fireball things

the last part of this video... funny enough.... he spammed like 10 fucking uppercuts in the row while I was in the air. I couldnt even do anything lol.
I just found another way to beat Sagat. You can use it whenever you want but you might want to use this strategy when he gets hard as hell. It is very easy but if he blocks or you time it wrong, you will lose. When he goes down, be right next to him and be prepared to do a shouryuken on him. Do it as soon as he gets up and tries to do an attack. The uppercut can counter anything including the tiger uppercut when timed right. Just spam it you will win no problem.
The strategy to defeat sagat in round 3 is simple...Initiate attacks when sagat is vulnerable, that is defend his tiger uppercut and do your own upper cut right after. Also defend his jump kick with the uppercut, this kick cant be defended normally. Be patient and wait for openings , defence is key
or you can spam hadokens as they are very fast and do more damage than any of your normal attacks. I've beaten round 3 Sagat in like 10 seconds using this strategy. It's key to stay relatively close but a little out of the range of his tiger uppercut so he has little space to counterattack.
The spin kick is absolutely useless and should not be used against round 3 sagat.
That just goes to show you that skill and experience outweight talent.
you can beat him by using the a+s down version of shoryuken EXPECIALLY when sagat is still in the air and a+s hadouken is your best weapon.however you have to be patient and try to make the final round into a brawl because sagat has a HUGE advantage with the tiger uppercut

Trap combos you will win every time and never lose a round.
IF you learn trap combos you can beat it in 1 min 30 seconds. My fastest time was 1:19 that was because he was playing overly aggressive and I punished him for it. I haven't lost a round in 3 years of me playing this about 7 times a week.

If sagat is against the wall, left punch, shoryuken. that's four hits (major damage) hits and if you crouch, you can get him with five uppercuts. also when against the wall, time your kicks, so that you have a kick, shoryuken, kick, shoryuken and use othe combos as well. I love kicking the shit out him.

finally beat his ass! for the first time hahahaha. i realized that he comes agressive when you beat him twice. and just hit him with the turnado kicks and connetct with uppercut. i block his tiger uppercuts and hit him with turnado kicks and uppercut. well. thats how i won. peace!
I basically punch the crap out of him, trying to lure him into do his cheap upper cut and then letting him have it. I have beaten him nine games in a row three and out, so that makes it 27-0 Ryu. Tripping helps, also I want to mention when he has you in the ropes uppercutting you, if your timing is right, you can do a short shoryuken and counter his assault. The third round is basically a shootout with hodokens.

When I play this game, its Sagat that looks like a rookie, I beat him to a pulp every time and rarely do I lose. I have won more that 30 games in a row playing this game, that's 10 straight games, three rounds each. Ryu punched Sagat into yesterday. They had run Sagat to the emergency room coz he was comatose.

This game cheats....
Actually, the easiest way to play the last round is to just sit down in defence in the corner and use fierce punch everytime he makes a move towards you in the air or everytime he attempts an uppercut. When you fierce punch him after the uppercut, make sure that he goes thru the uppercut completely before you start the fierce punch else his uppercut will connect.
If you do this, he will slowly but surely bleed to death.

I beat him alot of times. He's weak toward medium kick ( Idk y) and do the spin kick and follow with shoryuken right after when he does that tiger blast thing. You can't do much about his tiger uppercut except ALWAYS block or go back when he does this he'll be open
never jump at him after he is down he will kick you very fast.the thing is you have to jump when he is doing down kick.all the time try to block means not all the time when you get a beautiful golden chance do the quick move and after it suddenly do the quick move.you should be that much fast that after the quick moves (i knw my eng bad)do it in 1/2 sec .if someone follows my step thx really thx :D
I only won that game once and I was 7 and I had to do it with a friend to whoop his dam bald ass, the worst part is that I was using a French keyboard (which mean all the button are scramble all over). Since that day I never saw that game again until now.

I have finish this game just once time because is very very hard, the third round i think 2 lives is necessary for challenge Sagat so don't lose for two round. Don't use the strongest Hadoken and the strongest Shoryuken all the time because Sagat is very quick and he can protect himself.

It's actually not that bad to beat him. The first 2 rounds, he's pretty easy to beat. Once you've got 2 rounds on him, that's when he starts being cheap, and that's your queue to turtle like crazy. Just crouch block, then whenever he jumps in, do a low fierce to hit him out of the air. Don't bother with any special moves from that round on. The low fierce doesn't do much damage, but he's not doing any damage to you at all either. Also, you can sweep him if he does a high tiger close to you
I beat him several times. The way to win is do not let him hit you with a Tyger Uppercut. If he does, try again on next round.

I've beaten sagar so many times it's so damn easy. The first few tries he kicked my ass but I kept doin that roundhouse kick shit and finally beat him. When he does those fireball things do the roundhouse kick thing and you phase through it of you hit him.
