- Hi All! First of all, thank you for watching my video.
This is a song that gave to me the love for guitar and i think is one of the most beautiful songs of all time, so i wanted to pay tribute to it playing more true to the original that i could. Mark Knopfler is an incredible genius, every single lick he does is pure magic and his guitar playing is the most accurate and unique i've ever experienced.

I've listened to the original track many times and heard alot of covers of this song but you my friend play the most identical version to mark knophlers guitar that I've heard yet, note for note you absolutely nailed it!

Probably one of the most accurate renditions of this song I have ever hear and I have been listening to this tune probably longer than this young man has been alive. The one thing I can truly respect is the fact that he played it with his fingers and NOT a pick which I personally feel is how the song should be played. Just the way Mark Knopfler did originally...kudos kid not an easy song to play by any stretch
If I only heard the guitar audio of this without seeing the video, I couldn't tell it wasn't Mark Knopfler.
Finally someone getting the Flamenco vibes in the rythm while playing lead. Perfection at its finest.
If Mark ever wants to give up playing and just sing he knows who to call.
I've gone down a rabbit hole watching videos of people's covers and renditions of this song (guitar specifically). This blew then all away. Perfection. Clean, soulful, humble.
I've heard many versions of this song - but this is by far the closest to the original I've ever heard, even the Harmonics and finger picks are spot on. Well done!
Playing it note for note is something any dedicated musician can learn. BUT this sounds the best because the playing style is the same, not just the notes. Mark’s trademark picking style is what you have nailed, too! He feels the music and loves to play, just like you. That’s probably the biggest reason you can play it so well! I love this cover! Well done!

One of the best SULTANS OF SWING covers in the world, and saying it from the standpoint that I know its guitar part so well that I can sing the guitar by my vocal. The cover is played at almost note-for-note accuracy and, of course, the feel. Loved it.
This song was in heavy rotation while I worked as a dishwasher. This and Dr. Demento got me thru the night.
