Bohol's Tiny Monkeys, with Not so Chocolate Hills

- We had a fun time dodging the rain and seeing the interior of Bohol. I really like this area away from the beach, into the hills and surprisingly temperate weather with the breeze.

Behold is beautiful, I've been there, my wife is a Filipina and I'm Canadian but love our trips to the Philippines!
I made the trip to see the Tarsiers and Chocolate Hills back in 2004. They have made improvements to both areas since then. When I got to the Chocolate Hills, I met these two older guys and one of them introduced himself and told me he was an Engineer with the Transportation Dept. and he was the one who designed and built the Scenic overlook which we were walking on. He was really a nice guy and very interesting to talk to.
I used to always wear a fanny pack and everyone made fun of me so now that I'm older, I wear baggy shorts with big pockets. Little Dale is really a handful but all kids that age are. Have a great family day everyone!!

I saw the Tarsier in Bohol in 2010. They're tiny but adorable.

There is a floating restaurant at Loboc river and Loay if you would like to try. It's amazing and beautiful there in Bohol lots of good scenery. Being a Geotechnical Engineer I can tell you the geological explanation for the formation of the chocolate hills is fanciful at best; they truly are a mystery.

The view from the top of those steps is much better. You can see rows of the chocolate hills. It is a steep climb though, especially with carrying your son.

Been there and was not disappointed, and was told about the Butterfly Farm. It did not sound like anything I would be interested but surprisingly I loved it!!!

I think its a ts where you all are. I was raining in CDO when I was there, and really bad two days after I got back to texas, it really came down hard and flooded a bunch of people in their first floor and all is good at this point, but so my family made it out ok, other parts of the family in
Zamboanga got flooded and hopefully made it through ok... very good vlog and that looks like a place I might visit my next time there.
