The Radio Archives (out of Spokane, WA) set of "Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar" might have the missing segment NO. 3 from "The McClain Matter" as their restoration work seems to be the most complete..
OMG! This story was crazy! I almost didn’t listen to the end, so many twists & turns! But like always JD figures it out! Kudos to the writer of this story! Just discovered JD about a month ago, love being able to listen but not watch! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for posting. I’m a huge Johnny Dollar fan. I’ve been listening since the 1980’s when Stan Freeberg hosted “When Radio Was” & I’ve never heard this episode.
Nicely done and thank you more than I can explain. There are night's I'm catching up work in my own home straight thru till work the next day arrives. These make it a pleasure, not a chore. And tonight is one of those days. It's not midnight yet and I'll be at it for another four hours before catching three hours sleep and then starting all over.
This reminds me of a story an old man told me long ago about a time he kilt someone. I asked him if his conscience bothered him. He said the first 10 yrs it did. Then he said time heals all wounds all wounds while laughing a bit brah
Please, update the title to indicate "Yours Truly Johnny Dollar The McClain (McClean) Matter Full Episode Bob Bailey Parts 1-2, 4-5" I do see you put in "Complete episode of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar starring Bob Bailey as Johnny except for part 3 which is considered lost to the ages. Originally aired February 6-10, 1956." - it would be clearer if it read - "NEARLY complete (except for missing Part 3)" episode of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar starring Bob Bailey Third playthru for me to realize I wasn't spacing out and missing something - confirmed other sources that Part 3 is very difficult to source, and then read your description in more detail.
Did I miss something? How was Teresa Corbett’s boyfriend found? I noticed this episode was only 58:59 long they are usually over one hour long. I guess we’re missing a part of the story , other than that another great Johnny Dollar episode. Thank you for posting these episodes , there is nothing better than old time radio crime shows.
Unfortunately not every single radio episode survived into modern times. There are quite a few of the YTJD mult-part stories where a single episode is missing.
Great episode
I always cue up a Johnny Dollar episode when I'm cooking or doing paperwork. Makes the time fly.

I'm doing a Google Spreadsheet of all of the episodes and going to see which ones are missing....
Did you ever figure out which episodes are missing?

Well done. Thanks!
It's the third segment that's missing, yes?
Missing an episode!

I noticed the same thing. I guess having 4 out of 5 episodes in a series is better than having none.
This one has episodes 2 but not three old time radio has one and four.
32:19 "He was a doctor, wasn't he? ... Doctor Who?"
Doctor, you've got some explaining to do...

Incomplete episode. And not a great story. I'm a big YTJF, but this one doesn't rank high up there for me.
