I like this model and its functionality but were gonna have to start using RC grade electric motors because that Lego motor is struggling to move it, there's barely any speed change when you shift gears and it stops moving when you do
Kai 707 that there's no speed change maybe has the reason that the motor's using full power in every gear. More powerful motor's and batteries will fix it
Yes I think so too maybe like a rc cwaler motor with lots of tork but it would be preatyslow but I mean you don’t wanna make it go to fast so if it crashes it Breacks so probably yea a rc cwraler motor
Good question. If you use a lot of motors you can broke some parts (specially gears) to avoid this problems I add a torque converter gears. That means just after the motors I added a 24/8 gears ratio to increase the rpm and reduce the torque 3 times, and after the gearbox 8/24 gears to increase the torque again. With this system the whole gearbox works with much less torque and the gears can support the 4XL motors power.
as someone who works on trucks occasionally i can really appreciate how fucking hard it would have been to build this in such a clean form factor and with the limitations of lego
This is very impressive. I wish I had the time to create my own. I am too busy hauling cars with the real thing! Now make a Sun Valley 8 car trailer to work off that pneumatic hook up behind the cab!
Előre is Köszönöm!
The engineering of this is just so impressive. But the Lego motors are not powerful enough so you can see the difference between the gear changes. But it's one of the best trucks I have seen on TH-cam so far.
Molto molto molto bello!

are the motor to drive it hard coupled ? just put together with gears ? no diff ? doesn't it damage them?
I fixed the front axle some months ago, but I didn't publish it. Now it works much better. I didn't build the complete head because I wanted the people can see the pistons move up and down ;)
I´ve seen a couple of your videos (pretty cool by the way) and I´ve seen some lego parts that I am not familiarized with... did you buy all of the parts or you make it (like print them or st like that)?
the weight on the front axle is a bit high you see that? I got the same problem, i try to find out how you build a front axle which can stand a bit more but unfortunatly i realize that its to heavy when im already done:P btw nice creation the engine is awesome, but where is the head?^^
hi there! i was just wondering if u build cars on request? because if you do id really like to see an old volkswagon bettle, but if you dont have the time then thats ok
Of course not. In the final video it stops between gears because it doesn't have enougth speed to keep moving during the gear change, but I never stops the drive motors.
Man that's a big vehicle. I didn't expect it to have the unimog wheels when I saw it first. And 18 gears! Do you use four XL-motors to drive it, or am I wrong?
Great model.good talent.good job.only the drive speed seems not too fast.may be the model is too heavy.change some powerful motors may help i think. Thanks for your sharing.
Man, you need to send some of these vids to the Lego Technic team and try to get a job there! I could see your creations being actual sets, granted very expensive ones, but I'm positive that people would buy them.
Impresionante!
Nice truck i love the detail on the truck i believe next time can u try to test out like on a trailer or like a lumber tow thing forgot whats its is called but anyway thanks oh and also i love the motion its a great speed for a lego custom truck
I would very often submit your interests to Lego. They hire builders to design and complete projects for ideas. I think your models are marketable enough to the senior Lego users that you might find employment doing what you love to do. With instructions, I'd love to buy a kit to build one of these with motors and everything.
I ain't no Mack, I'm A Peterbilt !
I Knew what reference this was from as soon as I finished reading it.
Cars reference
I'll tell you what: this guy KNOWS how to build LEGOS! Im soo impressed
This should be a real lego set
DJ Steinborn: I know right?
If they upgrade the mothers then yes
This would be expensive and lego doesn't usually except huge lego sets
@@coneman8855 yeah they do? have you seen the $300 Bugatti Chiron set?
This would be like a $1000+
I like this model and its functionality but were gonna have to start using RC grade electric motors because that Lego motor is struggling to move it, there's barely any speed change when you shift gears and it stops moving when you do

You rock for this Peterbilt. This does look like Optimus Prime the front base.
I don't think you can take lego any farther then this. WOW
Lpe lego panumatic engine

Lego full auto blowback rifle

Agreed
550 Cat!
The hood even shakes like a real one when you open it.
Derek Miller Ha!!! I saw that too! Quite the nod to the original!
Needs a trailer.
How much weight can it pull before one of the parts break?
From my experience, universal joints are a weak point.
Jos v I I had one Lego car with a Xl motor and it broke like 10 of them😭😭
Look up how to make a heavy duty uni joint, they are actually really easy
I'm officially blown away! Absolutely stunning
Good question. If you use a lot of motors you can broke some parts (specially gears) to avoid this problems I add a torque converter gears. The pneumatic suspension and braking is awesome. Thumbs way up
as someone who works on trucks occasionally i can really appreciate how fucking hard it would have been to build this in such a clean form factor and with the limitations of lego
Another excellent vehicle. Really impressive, cant wait to see whats next
can you do a dash cam crash with this and another MOC? I would love to see it
Autobots, transform and roll out
This is very impressive. I wish I had the time to create my own. I am too busy hauling cars with the real thing! Now make a Sun Valley 8 car trailer to work off that pneumatic hook up behind the cab!
ur like the best lego technic builder ever
Hey do you have the truck in real life so you build it so good or you watched pictures?
You should make a low loader trailer that expands its self and unfolds the Rams
Előre is Köszönöm!
I was wondering where you get the specific pieces to make these creations...You work for Lego?
The engineering of this is just so impressive. But the Lego motors are not powerful enough so you can see the difference between the gear changes.
But it's one of the best trucks I have seen on TH-cam so far.
The truck only uses 3 channels, the fourth IR reciver is there because you only can connect 2 XL motors by reciver ,and it have 4...
how did you do the fenders? they look nice!
Molto molto molto bello!
are the motor to drive it hard coupled ? just put together with gears ? no diff ? doesn't it damage them?
Really well built. Can you please make even a video as the output circuit works
Cab looks disproportionate from the back but still looks amazing
Agreed, looks more like it should’ve had a sleeper instead of the daycab style
It's what I have allwase wanted to see to see.you should send the plans for that 379 to the lego Company, and they might make it into a set
One thing I need to ask: I've never built Technic before. If I order only the parts in the parts list, would I be able to build it?
how did you make the front axle maybe i can help you?
Of course!! The truck is very heavy, but the brakes has a lot of power!!
Unbelivable. My jaw dropped on the floor. I cannot begin to imagine how you can design such a model. Did you show it to Lego company?
Before the part about the brakes, I was thinking it would be really cool if he had included working pneumatic brakes. And guess what he did?!
I fixed the front axle some months ago, but I didn't publish it. Now it works much better.
I didn't build the complete head because I wanted the people can see the pistons move up and down ;)
Great functionality & good looking MOC
Would you consider doing a BMW Z4 or its to hard to do 1?
will you be building a trailer for this vehicle?
Do you think you can make schematics for this project?
Now it needs a trailer to pull behind it. Awesome project!
Do you have anything that would be able to handle more power?
I´ve seen a couple of your videos (pretty cool by the way) and I´ve seen some lego parts that I am not familiarized with... did you buy all of the parts or you make it (like print them or st like that)?
All the parts I use are 100% Lego original. Nothing printed, cutted, glued or painted.
do you need to let off the throttle to shift gears
the weight on the front axle is a bit high you see that? I got the same problem, i try to find out how you build a front axle which can stand a bit more but unfortunatly i realize that its to heavy when im already done:P btw nice creation the engine is awesome, but where is the head?^^
Did you make a trailer for that?
will u make lego aircradft and lego ship?
echt guttttes Video
hi there! i was just wondering if u build cars on request? because if you do id really like to see an old volkswagon bettle, but if you dont have the time then thats ok
YES SHEEPOS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you would win everything with that you have earned my respect sir.
I kill for the brakes friend, awesome truck.
is awesome!
and where can I find a nstruction because I want to build?
Use a diff is not necessary, because the motors always woks with big load, and in this case the differences between them are insignificant.
Of course not. In the final video it stops between gears because it doesn't have enougth speed to keep moving during the gear change, but I never stops the drive motors.
Man that's a big vehicle. I didn't expect it to have the unimog wheels when I saw it first. And 18 gears! Do you use four XL-motors to drive it, or am I wrong?
how works this gearbox? i don t understand? in the defender and now. can you send me building instruktion for gearbox?
This looks full on like my dads truck love it!
Great model.good talent.good job.only the drive speed seems not too fast.may be the model is too heavy.change some powerful motors may help i think. Thanks for your sharing.
Know whats awesome? I'll get to work on these massive beasts when i go to school!
thats awesome, how did u come up with that
MAN ALL YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWESOME!!!
Man, you need to send some of these vids to the Lego Technic team and try to get a job there! I could see your creations being actual sets, granted very expensive ones, but I'm positive that people would buy them.
holy crap.....this is one hell of a build!!!....how long did it take to build?(and how long before the batteries run empty)? awesome man!
You only can connect 2XL motor per IR recivers, so if it uses 4XL you need to use 2 IR recivers in the same channel
This is just awesome, pure genius
Impresionante!
This is the coolest Lego ever!
will u make this building inductions???
Sheepo, what do you have planned for your next big creation? I am always interested in your models and how they function!
very nice build! I would recommend doing a sleeper version of it, that would look nice!
But how'd you make the front wheel spaces though? You can also make a custom wheel like that! Complete genius, man!
No trailer to go with it?
u SAID IT HAD 4 IR RECIVERS BUT THEIR WERE ONLY THREE CONTROLLERS . DO U SWITCHCHANNELS ON 1 OF THEM?
so.... lets go for a testdrive ^^ this is awsome man:)
Sheepo .. have you got photos of your lego collection ? i just discover your youtube profil .. omg ! too many projects!!!! Oo
Awesome Job! This truck is Huugggeeee!
How.much would you sell them?
How long do these Projects take you? :)
How did you get the pistons to move so far up the cylinders?
Very easy, using a bigger crankshaft
Great Moc!!! Good work again!!
Nice truck i love the detail on the truck i believe next time can u try to test out like on a trailer or like a lumber tow thing forgot whats its is called but anyway thanks oh and also i love the motion its a great speed for a lego custom truck
Really like the penumatic (or what ever it is) suspension
Tis is real. Its crazy. Bravo!
Would you ever consider selling one of these? I am a diesel Mechanic and would LOVE to have one of these on my desk.
Wow ! Impressive build!!! How long did it take ?
Just around 4 months
That is really cool. Should build a trailer to finish it!
How long did it take you to make this????????????????????????????????
He said 5 months in another comment.
i want buy this one, is it ready?
Maybe you could add some lights. And please cuusoo it!! This is an awesome build!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be willing to pay a lot of money for it
Awesome ! Did you fix the front axe ?
I fixed the front axle a year ago ;)
Could be cool if you made remote controlled lights!! Btw nice projects!
I love This Truck Very complex system ... Perfect Job man YEAH ITS ROCK
Be that you could fair a video or kept silent show how kept silent makes your box of speed?
can you make a tank with many features ?
how much time you spend in this lego car?
Around 5 months ;)

SHEEPO (!) IS BACK!!!! YEAHHHHH...
Very good....I'm a big fan of the 379
