I wonder if Blizzard did not make Cenarius invulnerable to see if players would dare to kill him without corrupting the Orcs. Or it could be like Mal'ganis in the final Arthas mission, and they thought Divine armor was enough to make him unkillable without Chaos damage units.
Most characters that you aren't "supposed" to kill only take 1 damage per attack. You can also kill Archimonde on the last level for example but it requires a lot of cheesing.
Cenarius is definitely much more killable compared to other divine armored bosses like Archimonde or Malganis. You just need to lure him out then ganged up on him
@@PizzaRollExpert I once killed Grom on the last orc mission I was wondering why he had so much damn health. Then when he instantly revived I remembered I wasn’t supposed to kill him lol
@@spectre9065 No, I mean that, much like Mal'ganis and his respawning Ankhs, they thought there was no way players would manage to kill him before they should. Something they actually considered with Tichondrius as he teleports all your units away if Illidan hasn't consumed the Skull of Gul'dan yet.
Nice one! FYI you can use Bladestorm to kill the Teal base's ancients and Wisps in the initial phase of the level. Even if the Tree of Life survives, it stops that base from building units, which makes the rest of the level marginally easier since you don't have to deal with flyers.
In normal I destroyed their chimera roost (as well some other buildings) and they rebuilt it. Had to wipe out their tree of life and all the wisps to stop their menace for good. The top and bottom bases don't rebuild their stuff tho and it was easy to pinch them off one building at a time.

I was on the verge of defeat in this level, but didn't want to give up. I ended up playing for 2 hours straight lol. Those flying bastards are a real pain in the ass...

I remember when I killed him I used peons, towers, and witch doctors after the bases were destroyed. It took awhile, and I remember finding the cinematic a bit funny afterward because it assumed he drank the demon blood, but he was still green.
Enjoy all your wc3 videos! Can you do the human campaign map, where you have to defend a village from the scourge? I think there's two undead bases for you to go out and destroy and a caravan optional quest ;-)

Mal'ganis didn't have divine armor. He just had a ton of ankhs.

@@akiraigarashi2874 IIRC if you kill all the initial wisps, the Tree of Life doesn't build new ones, stalling production.
