  • Details are scarce but, as expected, the Erie Otters have parted ways with head coach Stan Butler. The decision comes after the team conducted an internal investigation, but both Dan and Farwell feel a little more information is required. Feel free to weigh in on the discussion at ohlpodcast@rogers.com. You'll also get your Wraparound this week with a new definition that answers the question, "what's better than a hat trick?" And in case you hadn't already noticed, there's a team in the Eastern Conference that's found its way after a brutally tough start.

Firstly, I’m a fan of the podcast. Love you guys. But, respectfully, I disagree with your initial take on Erie situation; like it or not, coaches are helping raise men, not whiners. Men. Alpha dogs. Masculinity sometimes comes out being rough and unvarnished. Now, you guys did speak out of the other side of your mouths at the end of that segment and basically walked your initial take back - rightly, I will say.
There’s no place in these kids lives (or in society, actually) for woke ideology. We’re not served well exchanging weak men who walk on eggshells bc everyone’s a potentially offended victim, rather than strong men who’s main duty (beyond hockey life) is to protect the weak. I’ll repeat, at the end of hockey life, these coaches have a significant role in creating men, leaders, and role models.
    Respectfully submitted
Sting player, Karomov attempts a Wrap around nearly every game! You’re right - we need more of these.
