Oh my Adler , thank you for the witty sayings always! “ at least he did it right” ..and it’s as cold as ice cubes.. he is so smart ! He’s always learning , watching things, questioning etc.. Grandpa and Matt are soooo good with him and Grandma has a special bond as well.. thank you all of you for truly making my day ❤️
Ralph, Matt tried to tell you that his dogs have to be fed separately. My dogs have to be separated while they eat. My female was spayed, and my male neutered. Ruby Jane is now the dominate dog over Rascal, though he outweighs her by 20-25 pounds.
Adler’s chicken dance was so cute. He’s definitely a talker. Enjoy hearing him because you never know what he’ll say. You can tell he loves visiting with you all and helping with the chickens and animals.
Adler is going to make his mark on this world 🌍 in a big way. Doesn’t matter what he decides to do (way too early to think about that) but he has the brains and charisma to really make a positive change in this world - Case will do the same, but in a quieter way. And Carter woo-hoo! The world is his oyster. I wish we could see more of Carter. They are all like their dad, uncles and grandpa; amazing young men! They have amazing mentors to guide them. Y’all have a safe and blessed day!
Riley was definitely showing aggression during feeding today. Its not playing. Be very careful as its not uncommon for it to escalate if not nipped in the bud now. I suggest moving their bowls far enough apart that one doesn't have to pass by the other to get their food. And at least for now watch when they eat.
Grandpa and Granma, An easy fix for the pups is to just separate their feeding stations. Whether inside the hutch and one outside, or one in each hutch. God Bless!
Hello grandpa and grandma and Matt and Adler..Best chicken dance ever.. Prayers for all the Doss family members.. I think Riley is being the boss.. I think grandma did the right thing.. Love you all. prayers for you two also.. You have to love Adler, he's so smart. God bless.. Love you all...❤ It's official it's cold as ice cubes...
Hello Ralph & LeaAnn Adler has just grown so much. When I started watching Chad’s channel - Adler didn’t have a lot to say. And now he’s at the age where he’ll give you a quarters worth of conversation for a nickel. ❤ He takes after his Grandpa… singing while he does the chores! That was adorable. There was only time we had the issue that you are having with the pups. It took about 3 weeks of consistent training to break the behavior. LeaAnn, both my great grandmother and grandmother had Alzheimer’s. It’s a thief. It’s so hard for everyone. Your Christmas tree is beautiful! Blessings of Abundance and Prosperity for everyone reading this. Prayers for all who need them.🙏🏻❤️ ~Linda
Good evening Grandpa and Grandma and Matt and Adler amazing job singing Adler and cool chicken dancing have a wonderful weekend and God bless everyone 🙏 ✝️ 💜 love and prayers for everyone
Just a heads up,be careful if you're going to get new goats. Alot of farms have been dealing with pinkeye. Eddy family farm has been fighting it and one of the goats are blind. Another farm lost 2 because of pinkeye and apparently so underlying illness. So if you get any keep them away from your goats in quarantine for several weeks until you know they are OK. Loved seeing Adler and of course Matt 😊 and as always you and grandma and the babies 😊❤ Blessings
Yes, Brandon admitted he messed up not keeping the goats from the auction separated. Any new animal should be kept isolated to keep any disease from existing herd the new livestock might have not just pink eye.
I’ve spent my holidays alone for the last 15 years. My sister married a man in a different state and we haven’t seen her since. My brother and his family live an hour away. I can no longer drive over 25 miles because of health reasons, so I don’t see him. It gets lonely but that’s the way it is. So I spend my holidays watching my utube families.
I am alone too so I invite my best friend and her handicapped son to come over for dinner. Non traditional.. Stuffed shells, (red, white and green parsely flakes ) garlic toast, Italian Christmas cookies and later hot chocolate...BTW..I am Swedish...lol
Hello to Grandpa and Grandma Doss, Matt, and Adler. Thank you for another good video. The bond that you have with your grandson is a great one. Adler is growing up so fast. His song about the chickens, and being able to fly to the sky was so very cute. Also I loved the quotes from the Green Eggs and Ham book was neat also. The Christmas Tree looks pretty. You are right very blessed to have your family close by. Thank you for letting me be a part of your family through these videos. I hope GOD will continue to bless your family.
My parents are 89 years young. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. ( he’s the baby boy.) lol. We go to dad and mom’s Christmas morning. We fix a huge breakfast. Then all the nieces and nephews come by with their kids and great grandkids. I’m 64, and I’m so blessed and thankful I still have both my parents. They have been married 71 years. They were high school sweethearts. It does my heart good to see the love between my dad and mom. They still hold hands, still sloppy kisses. They laugh, joke around. But God has always been with them. We were raised in church. I live alone now but I’m right across the road from my parents. We in North Carolina. I told them if it snowed( praying we get a big one) I’m walking to their house. Love watching this channel.
I love ❤️ your sweatshirt Leann!! You are correct Leann, you HAVE to be consistent with the dogs. Lord please bless Ralph, Leann, Matt, and the whole Doss family their family and friends with an abundance of all they need, keep them healthy and safe and bless their homes, lands, property, businesses, jobs and animals, in your heavenly name I pray Amen 🙏!
Great video today truly enjoyed watching Adler and Grandpa do the new dance. Adler is so funny. Keep Smiling, Stay Safe. God Bless, Grandpa, Grandma, Matt & Adler.❤🙏
Food aggregation escalates if she’s doing it now it will continue. If you look at other channels with that breed they are separated to eat. One farmer gives a raw egg in each bowl which gets them to eat right away. 🙏✝️God bless your family.
Making memories are the best, so one day as some of. us are alone, that’s what is left. The last Christmas I shared with family was 11 years ago. I still decorate but spend holidays alone. Sure miss those family dinners.
It's all good my tree is setting on my porch needing to come in and get set up. I have a big prayer request. My brother in-law has stage 4 Cancer that has moved to his liver and spine and they are calling in hospice he has a 12 yr please pray we get on more Christmas with him.
Leanne, I know exactly how it is with an Alzheimer's mother. My mother started with it at the age of 54 🥺. My dad took care of her the whole time. She went thru it all, from forgetting everybody (except my dad), to not being able to eat or drink as the brain forgets to trigger swallowing. In the end, it was a fall & 4 broken ribs that brought on pneumonia that took her. She was 64 when she passed 😢. And that was 18yrs ago. So I'm sending big hugs to you. ❤
Thanks Carol. Your Mom was young. That’s awesome that she never forgot who your Dad was. I always waited until Mom told everyone who I was before I said much. She would say “well there’s my sister”. Then I would know that’s who she thought I was that day. Some days I was her Mom. Those were usually days I started out brushing her hair or something like that. It’s a strange disease for sure. I watched a commercial Chevy just put out on X (Twitter) and it was a family gathering for Christmas. Grandma is just staring off into space. She isn’t aware of anyone around her. The granddaughter gets up and leads her out into the garage. She uncovers an old Chevy vehicle and they take off in it for a ride. Grandma starts remembering places the Grandaughter takes her and one of the places is an old drive in theatre. They talk about her date with a guy (which is her husband) and then they head back to the house. Her husband comes out to help her out of the car and she looks at him with complete recognition and I lost it. lol. What a great commercial. Brought back some really good memories and love around the holidays. ❤️ LeaAnn
❤❤❤❤ My mom barely spoke. She would just look around and smile. Then she would break down in periods of crying. Broke my heart. We have no idea what's going on inside their minds to help them. It's an absolute wrenching disorder. 😢
Leeanne... I'm seeing that look you are sending the camera and I'm right there with you. I have a vision of Ralph skipping around merrily flapping his little Tinker Bell wings and singing La la la... And yes....I'm being sarcastic......I do believe this will get worse because there is no way you can constantly monitor the dogs.
We just need to be on the same page. We are working on an idea that we are going to try for our next Monday video. I think that will help him when I’m not out there of a morning to help with feeding time. ❤️ LeaAnn
Goodmorning lovies what a joy to see the farm animals through Adlers eyes, what a precious gift from God. Love you lovies have a blessed week. Love Desiree and Hugh New Zealand ❤❤
I was happy to hear the stories about Christmases with your moms, especially today. My mom passed away 23 years ago today, all those years and it still hurts, so I loved hearing your memories. Adler singing was awesome. I'm glad Matt's back is feeling better.
I totally understand Sharon. It’s been 28 years since my Dad passed and I remember it like it was yesterday. The way I look at it now is I’m thankful we had that close of a relationship that it still hurts that much and I still miss him that much after all these years. He was one in a million and a very special Dad/Grandfather to all of us. Mom too of course, but she’s only been gone 4 years and circumstances were a lot different with her. I felt I lost her 8 years prior with the onset of her Alzheimer’s. ❤️ Grandma Doss
@@grandpadossfarms Thank You for responding. My dad passed in '94' , Our relationship was not that good in my younger years, but we did mend fences about 5 years before he passed ( I was in my mid 30's). I am so grateful for that. Sorry you had to see your Mom go through that. Enjoy the rest of your week. Thank You and Grandpa for making us all a part of your family. Sharon
We had 2 dogs. Dad was a Maltese and daughter was a Maltese/Bichon mix. Both small dogs. Dad always ate first and Lili would eat when he was finished. Yes, there was enough food for her. We got a puppy, male Bichon/Yorkie mix. He ate with Lili and things were pretty okay as she was bigger than him. Dad was 17 when we had to put him to sleep (cancer). A few weeks after that, Lili became more aggressive with full grown Grady who was now bigger, stronger and younger than her, but Lili would not let him eat first. If he did, all the food would be eaten. She got wise and stopped him from eating until she was done then he got to eat. She always left more than enough food for him, but that’s how she handled it and we let her. I guess her father taught her that the old dogs ate first and the kids ate next. That’s what she taught Grady. Lili is no longer with us as she died one month before her 17th birthday. The only part-time companion Grady has is my daughter-in-law’s cat. If Grady is eating, he steps back and lets Daisy check out his food bowl. She grabs a piece of kibble, backs away and Grady goes back to his food. What I am trying in a very long, drawn out manner to say is, if both dogs are getting enough to eat, if they aren’t fighting and seem to understand the rules they have made, leave them be. They solved their own problem and have come to an understanding. You may want or expect him to be dominant, but in this case with food, she’s the dominant one. This may have to do with her health condition. She may have felt he was getting her food and she had to stop it. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t see it, if she sensed it, it was real to her. Is Rebel getting upset or agitated when he’s lying there waiting for her to finish? If he’s ok, don’t worry about it. Dogs have an hierarchy even if it’s only 2 of them. They have to sort it out, not the people around them unless one or the other is being physically harmed. Until that happens, don’t get in the middle.
Adler was a regular Fred Astaire today! Singing and dancing! 😂❤ He makes up the cutest songs! I never fail to 😂 when he says his witty things. So smart! Uncle Matt is there to tell him stories. Adler gets it!❤ Loved your video Grandpa Doss! Thank you Grandma Doss for your part in it!❤ God bless you all!
I always love seeing Adler whether he's with y'all or with Chad!!! He is so smart & adorable!!! Adler makes things more interesting!!! Love y'all Doss Family & God Bless!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Matt and Adler always make a video special. 😊😊 I am, by no means, a dog expert; but my late husband and I raised Labradors for decades and he trained them for waterfowl hunting and retriever competition. I am not surprised that Riley dominates Revel. We kept the four pups from our Lab's one carefully planned litter and the dominant pup was one of the two females. If we weren't right there, she was aggressive (growling, not biting) with her littermates during feeding, and they would back away from their food. She would also take their toys and they would allow it. The two adult Labs in the house could take things directly from her mouth and she would immediately submit with a wagging tail. My husband could tell her to "drop" food or toys, and she would, even as a pup. We understood and tried to respect the pack hierarchy, but we were used to having Labs of various ages, not four young dogs vying for position at once. The others had always eaten companionably. We didn't "punish" the dominant pup, but we wanted to ensure that everyone ate their allotted meals in relative peace, so we intervened. Since we fed them on a schedule, we split the pups up and monitored them until they finished. She was incredibly sweet-natured with people and other dogs, including her siblings. After the play fights of puppyhood, she never so much as growled at anything but squirrels, but she remained the dominant littermate until she passed at 13 from cancer. Dogs just know.
Thank you Jana. That’s our Rylie. She’s not a “bad” dog that needs to be put down because one day she’s going to lose it and hurt Revel or one of us. She is incredibly sweet natured too but people don’t understand. We are getting a lot of comments along those lines. We love both of these dogs and neither one of them are going anywhere. One would be lost without the other and together they are a force to be reckoned with. We may not be a 20+ acre farm with all kinds of animals to guard, but these two do watch over what we got them for and for that we are grateful. As we get more goats and they get a little older I think they will mature even more and make a good team for anything we decide to add to the farm. I appreciate you sharing and understanding the situation. We will figure out the best way to feed so both have the freedom to eat in their respective area. ❤️ Grandma Doss
Adler keeps me in stitches 😂. Look at uncle Matt hand feeding the chickens WOW how far you've come. I have to watch my dogs eat or they will take each others food .😊
I can almost hear Adler. Grandpa, what's a derriere? 😂 Ralph, I remember the time when you found a possum in the dog's house. Do you think Adler saw that? 🤣
I want you to know no matter what the world puts before me, God gives me the ability to find a Doss family youtube to put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart to remind me how blessed I am.
Testing boundaries.....and yes they could be playing but if she gets food aggressive you will have to feed separate, or you will have to be in the middle. Grampaws easy, as most males are. Chewy has kalmbach I have obedience trained dogs. I had a kennel. And showed. Mostly what you need to remember, and gramaw knows what im saying.....sometimes you have to be firmer than you WANT to be. It has their best interest at heart. Like running off with the feeder scoop. They know trust me.
As always, Adler steals the show. I just can't get over his vocabulary. Thanks for sharing a bit about your family traditions. My late husband also had Alzheimer's and I was Blessed that he didn't forget who we were. I love when Matt is in the videos, and he is so tuned in with Adler. The tree is pretty even without decorations. It has lots of twinkling lights. Y'all have a Blessed day.
I have 6 dog(1 xlg, 2 Ig, 3 sm). I have always fed them in separate areas, noone is aloud to visit the other's dish ever. I place them across the rooms from one another and they all face away from eachother while eating. Because I don't over feed and I've been consistent with feed times they all go to their respective food dish when they hear me get into the food container. I don't have to worry about it but if they were to walk away from their meal I will pick up the leftovers. Noone gets extras. Also, if Riley is in pain or discomfort she might be showing a different temperament towards Rebel.
Love the video with you, Matt and our precious Adler!! Loved how cute he was when he broke out singing down in the goat pen!!! Praying for all the Doss families… I lost both my parents around Christmas time and my only brother six months after I lost my Dad… please keep me in your thoughts and prayers especially at this time of the year… My husbands family is extremely large, so it kinda helps me… when we have the get togethers there’s around 50 of us and I think that we keep growing!!!! LOL 😂😂😂 … thank y’all for all you bring to each and every one of us… I can’t wait for all the Doss family videos because you all have grown to be part of my extended family!!! Thank you for that ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice chicken dance Adler with Grandpa it was great when you were singing. Matt you always make me laugh . When you said say Door Dash to Grandpa it killed me laughing. Lola deserves delivery I wonder if she is getting blind. How old is she? Grandma thank you for sharing about your family and the holidays and memories you and Grandpa have. Your tree is very pretty with the sparkling lights. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas 🎄
Oh Adler is so adorable I must say. He is a real comedian and a People Person, like his grandparents. I love the music you played at the end LeeAnn. You are very special.
Awesome new chicken dance. Adler is growing up TOO fast. ❤ He is SO smart for his age too. Our family (my brothers and I and our families) get together for a meal and do a dirty santa gift exchange. It's fun. All gifts are put together. We draw numbers to see who goes first, second and so on. The first person to go, picks a gift and unwraps it. If somebody gets a gift you want, you can steal that gift and they have to pick another gift. That particular gift can only be stolen twice. We usually limit the cost of each gift to maybe $10-$15.
Well the farm boss is in rare form this video! Chicken dance, serenade, sharing his wit and charm with all who will listen! I love him so stinking much!😂❤!!! I still can’t believe he was only seven months old when Chad started this whole adventure that the Doss family is living! I pray that it gets better and continues to get better for as far into the future as anyone can imagine! Lots of prayers for everyone! Love and blessings from this old Bama girl!❤❤❤
Just remember if you get anything from an auction please quarantine so not to give your old animals anything like pinkeye from the auction. Just saying a reminder. Thanks for sharing your smartest grandson Alder. Gosh I just love him. God Bless from Louisiana
My sister left home in 1971 for college then work. I have seen her 4 times for funerals. I do talk to her on holidays. She is my only immediate family left. I am so thankful to have my son and his family for family experience.
Hello Grandma, Grandpa and Matt. Good seeing Adler too. He's so smart❤Thanks for the the smiles again. Its always entertaining. Lori and the kids on All Creatures farm just feed their dogs spaced apart farther. Maybe that will help. Thank you for telling us about your families. Yes, the get together change over the years but anytime with family and friends is always time well spent.❤ Thanks always 🤟
Adler is a cute little motor mouth; he never stops talking. ❤ He has such a large vocabulary and is just a little sponge on facts, phrases and songs. You can just see those little brain cogs moving. 😊
Great video!! Riley, was not playing and if not taken care of it it may get worse and at that time she will bite. I really suggest to separate their bowls so they are not so close to each other. Hope all works out.

You might try clipping Delilahs wing. Just one usually does it. Cant fly with a clipped wing.
Try to put the bowls 🥣 further away from each other 🥣 then he can eat while she's eating. And yes consistency is always the key to training dogs 🐕👍
I just watched The Walkers and they weretrimming wings. You only have to do one wing. Iam sure Cassie has a video that shows exactly howto do it.

Grandpa, for their own good, clip the wings of the ones getting out. It doesn’t hurt them and they grow back. It just breaks the habit.
Awesome chicken dance Adler and Grandpa ❤❤ there's no limit to that little guy's cuteness 😊
Thank you for sharing some stories about your parents 💗
Loved Adler’s singing and dancing 😆💗
Thanks for sharing your lives. It’s fun watching just good family fun.

Put the dog bowls at opposite ends. Put space between them.
I had three dogs at one time, once. Each had to be fed in a separate spot and then we let them back together and all was well.

Sharon
It seems like it was Halloween just yesterday. Time just rushed by.😢
Love your videos and enjoy watching them. May the lord bless and protect grandma and grandpa and Matt and the animals.
Adler, you taught Grandpa a new chicken dance and a song also. He loves to sing when he feels like.😂❤❤ Hopefully, separating the feed bowls will help.
So awesome to have Adler, Matt and Grandpa together extra blessing 😊💜 🙏
Adler is like the Energizer Bunny!!! He goes & goes & just keeps going!!! He's so funny!!! I can't get enough of him!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Howdy howdy Grandpa and Grandma and Matt and Adler
I see the farm boss is there
I always love seeing Adler whether he's with y'all or with Chad!!!
Loved Adler singing I believe i can fly
Oh nooooo. Remember one of them chewed on plastic. That's hard on the digestion.
Well that was not the issue. Sorry.
Adler keeps me in stitches 😂. Look at uncle Matt hand feeding the chickens WOW how far you've come. I have to watch my dogs eat or they will take each others food .😊
That was a great dance 🕺!
GOD BLESS ALL!
Great dance and songs Adler. Nice hearing y'all reminisce about your family. God Bless. ❤❤❤❤
I can almost hear Adler. Grandpa, what's a derriere? 😂 Ralph, I remember the time when you found a possum in the dog's house. Do you think Adler saw that? 🤣
Don't give Matt keys to the house! He will be riding the tractor to do the chores!
❤watching the video ❤
🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
I want you to know no matter what the world puts before me, God gives me the ability to find a Doss family youtube to put a smile on my face and warmth in my heart to remind me how blessed I am.
It would be a good idea if the builder of the chicken house would’ve put a piece of linoleum on the floor. It would’ve been so much easier to clean.
Testing boundaries.....and yes they could be playing but if she gets food aggressive you will have to feed separate, or you will have to be in the middle. Grampaws easy, as most males are.
Chewy has kalmbach
I have obedience trained dogs. I had a kennel. And showed.
Mostly what you need to remember, and gramaw knows what im saying.....sometimes you have to be firmer than you WANT to be. It has their best interest at heart. Like running off with the feeder scoop. They know trust me.
It would be amazing to see Adler sing "Annie"!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hello every one glad you came to keep grandpa and uncle matt in line addler
Ralph and Matt you guys are getting a great education with Adler on board
Delilah may need her wings clipped she can't stay in the pen!
Adler is the king of Reese's lol
I have 6 dog(1 xlg, 2 Ig, 3 sm). I have always fed them in separate areas, noone is aloud to visit the other's dish ever. I place them across the rooms from one another and they all face away from eachother while eating. Because I don't over feed and I've been consistent with feed times they all go to their respective food dish when they hear me get into the food container. I don't have to worry about it but if they were to walk away from their meal I will pick up the leftovers. Noone gets extras.
Also, if Riley is in pain or discomfort she might be showing a different temperament towards Rebel.
Howdy you all
Bella, Olivia, and Lola love you Grandpa and Matt
Leeann I see your eye roll. I have been married 48 years. I get the eye roll. Happy Holidays 🎄🐼
😉
Thank you for that ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You can clip the chickens wings to prevent them from flying , I use to get my brother to come over and clip my chickens wings ( feathers ).
Lola will be 4 years old in May.
Adler is such a delight.
Oh Adler is so adorable I must say. He is a real comedian and a People Person, like his grandparents. I love the music you played at the end LeeAnn. You are very special.
Thank you. ❤️ LeaAnn
Loved the chicken dance! Thanks Grandpa and Adler! ❤️😅
I believe that boy could have his own channel......lol
Ik he cant but he could.😁
Love your banter back and forth!! Thanks for sharing.
Just remember if you get anything from an auction please quarantine so not to give your old animals anything like pinkeye from the auction. Just saying a reminder. Thanks for sharing your smartest grandson Alder. Gosh I just love him. God Bless from Louisiana
Great to see Matt and Adler ❤❤❤
My sister left home in 1971 for college then work. I have seen her 4 times for funerals. I do talk to her on holidays. She is my only immediate family left. I am so thankful to have my son and his family for family experience.
Beautiful big tree guys ❤😅Merry Christmas and God's blessings 🙏 ❤
I love it when you have Adler visiting you. Love listen to him. You never know what he is going to say. Love listening to him singing.
Yes Ralph remember "LEAVE IT"
Oh it's Adler. I love him❤❤❤❤
Hello Grandma, Grandpa and Matt.
Always enjoyable! Adler is just the icing on the cake!😊
Thank you for sharing your journey 👍✨️🧚♂️🤟
Hi Ralph Matt and Adler. You need to adopt Alder chicken😂 dance its cute Ralpl we has snow in the UK its freezing . ❤
I’ll let you keep the snow and the freezing temps. Lol
Love the outro music today Leeann. Great video also.
Thanks so much Linda. ❤️ LeaAnn
Great video!! Riley, was not playing and if not taken care of it it may get worse and at that time she will bite. I really suggest to separate their bowls so they are not so close to each other. Hope all works out.
