Our single adult son came to live back home with us after a job change a few years ago. He’s here to help his aging parents and hopes to keep the family homestead.
🤠 That "Tah Dah!" when the lights came on, it reminded me of the Wormy Dance.🙂 Nice looking tree. Reminds me to get mine out of the storage room. Thanks. PRAYing! … 🙏🙏🙏
I think you doing his tree was as great as watching your Friday work video. Congratulations on your new adventure with the land and Matt moving closer. Having your children close is so wonderful. ❤❤
Your demonstration of love for your sons’ tree up is plenty of compassion and love of family. No other “big” project is necessary. Enjoyed reality! Thanks!
Ralph, you're such a dork!! Losing sleep over not putting out a video! We're not going anywhere. We'll be right here waiting! God bless you all and many prayers 📿 😇 🙏🏻 ✨️ ✝️ 📖 📿 😇 ❤❤
You Two are the Best Parents... The Boys are Blessed to have You Two...And I am Blessed to be able to be a small part of all your lives Thank You. God Bless xoxoxoxoxoxo
Grandpa Doss, 90% after such a short time is amazing! I’m 67 now, but I had 2 major surgeries in my 20’s and both times it took me 6 months to feel ok and a year to really feel normal again. I know they have made amazing progress in medicine today & your recovery is a testament to your good health.
20 plus years ago My dad was a test subject for the amiodarone. They had to take him off as his BP (which always ran low) became severely low. He told the docs that if he helped anyone being a test subject, that would be a blessing to him
Putting up a Christmas tree 🎄 is a project! Thanks for doing that for Matt. I know he appreciates it. You can always tell stories on the kids or answer questions for Friday cold weather options. We love the fireside chats. Hope you can find Beep Beep a good home.
As much as we like watching your Friday project videos. You don’t have to explain why you’re not doing it. They’re just bonuses. I love watching you guys. You’re so funny.
Ralph probably most of us enjoy just feeling like we’re there with y’all just sitting their chatting like old friends or feeding and petting the animals or baking with Leanne, makes us feel like we belong
I loved that fact you took time to go and put up a tree for Matt, I have a single daughter who lives by herself, I do extra things to help her out also. Please don’t feel you HAVE to put out a video on the certain days. Glad you are doing much better. God bless 🇨🇦
Our sweet neighbor just had the same surgery as Grandpa on Wednesday. She is still a little touch and go, but talking and drinking juice today. Would appreciate prayers for her (Joyce).
Good evening Ralph LeaAnn and Libby ❤I put my my tree up on the 1st of December .,I'm keeping all of you in my prayers and for everyone in need .God bless ❤🙏
I will never forget the first time I bought an artificial tree. I got home put it up & I was shocked after I put it together plugged in and the next thing I know my tree was playing Xmas music and the tree was slowly turning at all times unless you shut it off!! It was put in the wrong box from the supplier. It was truly gorgeous made it 10yrs.
I’m excited for you guys too. Not just for the land, but because Matt will be your neighbor. I’d love for you to my son to be my neighbor. I’d have my two grandkids over all the time. Ralph, my dad was on the 81mg of aspirin for the rest of his life so don’t be surprised if they keep you on it. I’ll be praying the hypothyroidism goes away once that medicine is out of your system. - Sue in AZ
I have a pup just like Libby. He is going on 18 yrs old. Recently my pyr of 13 yrs passed and Charles is struggling to stay with us. As a matter of fact, he was near death 2 days ago. I am babying him and tonight he ate supper, first solid food in 6 days and went outside to potty on his own. God is good. We both miss our Abby (pyr). They were a precious couple, black lab wanna be and Great Pyrenees….the odd couple. Lol
It's been another rainy day here in SE Kansas, hour from Joplin. This was fun to see you helping Matt get his tree put up and seeing Miss Libby. What a sweet girl. Glad the paperwork is behind you now. Glad to hear your off the meds Ralph. Pray on ! UPDATE on my neighbor, Kenny. He was moved to a rehab room and if things go as planned he may come home end of next week. Found out that on top of everything else, both hips were broken ! He will be in a wheelchair and needs a hospital bed. Family and friends already working on a wheelchair ramp, have a wheelchair and working on the bed so he can come home and continue rehab. God is good !! Pray on !!
Well done on the completion of the land and bringing Matt home to roost. Very kind to put his tree up for him when he's busy with work. It's a pity the dynamics have changed between Mags and Beep Beep they are both such beautiful birds. I hope they can work it out. 🤘
I have a black cat who tends to blend into the background. I prefer colored lights, too. Thanks for cheering me up. I've been pretty down this week. You're always a blessing
My dog is a brindle Catahoula mix and is camouflaged so well that she blends in with everything. We have tripped over her because she blends into the floor!
Don’t know if I told you, but I am so happy that you’re getting the extra land. And that your son is moving close to you gonna be such a blessing Ralph. Enjoy your health and you will praying for you.
Ralph, Ralph, Ralph… your intense focus is a lot! Kudos for LeeAnn at being able to rein you in when you fly off and keep you grounded. Of course, nobody is gonna change you at this point in your life🤭. Y’all are both a blessing and such a complete couple…. Wish we were a bug on the wall to see Matt’s face when he gets home!
We were on the phone with him when he got off work. He walked in the house and said “you put my tree up!” He was really appreciative. Now I just need to let him pick out the ornaments. lol ❤️ Grandma Doss
Those are some handsome grandchildren in the background on the wall. Adler is pretty darn cute when he is on video with his Dad, talking and telling jokes, he makes me laugh!
I have been looking at a lot of Decorating for Christmas that I am getting anxious to get started on mine. I have done a little on my porch, but nothing so far in the house. Still have fall inside. I usually put up the tree over Thanksgiving, but this year, I may just have to start earlier. I love Christmas and decorating for Christmas. Praise God for sending His son to die for all of us!
I am sorry I don't say something every time but I keep everyone in my prayers! Prayers warriors do work! Congratulations on the new property. Love you guys!
Libby is adogable. Don't lose sleep. We're here. Matt's gonna notice and appreciate it and love livin in the back yard. Noise or not. Y'all stay well. 🫶🐾🐾🦋
Prayers continue. Congratulations on the land purchase. God is blessing you two and your beautiful family of responsible sons, daughters in law & grandkids.
You two are the most loving parents and grandparents! It's so exciting for Matt living right next to you two. You can never go wrong buying land! As a huge chicken lover and breeder. I'm glad to hear you are keeping the two roosters separated. You probably already know this, but chicken cannot see anything in the dark hours. Which is why the two boys are roosting in their safe coop. My oldest living hen lived until she was 13 years old. And my oldest rooster lived until he was 12+ years old. Everything depends on care and making sure they are dewormed for all type of worms, at least yearly. Always check for lice. And a stress free life! I do know the bantams can live into their teens easily and some into their 20's. God bless....❤
That was nice of you to put Matt’s tree up. His dog is so adorable. 🥰 Sorry to hear that you’re going to rehome beep beep, I understand it has to be done but he is a good rooster. Glad to hear Magneto is doing better. But most of all, happy to hear that Ralph is done with those two meds and is well on his way to officially being recovered. ❤
Shabbat Shalom from Bristol, Wisconsin!!! Prayers for me please, torn rotator cuff tear, will need surgery and will be off work for a few months... I'm not used to being still or not having some type of project to do...
Shabbat Shalom Julie! Prayers for you surgery! For peace, successful surgery and speedy recovery and ability to have a calm spirit during this time! God bless! 🙏❤️
Oh, too bad on the torn rotator cuff. My husband had that. The main thing to remember is to do the therapy faithfully. My husband said it felt like there was ground glass inside. But push through the pain to get full function back. My dad had rotator cuff surgery when he was older and didn't have a great result. He was not as diligent with therapy. Best wishes for a good surgeon and outcome.
Hi, you both are awesome…love your rock n talks, the teasing, the sharing of your lives. I have no family interaction, no close friends here, so I’ve adopted you virtually. All the Doss channels, and a few other family channels. Praying on.❤ have a great Veterans Day weekend!
I love Christmas time but I put the tree up after Thanksgiving. So sweet to surprise Matt with putting up his! 🎄🎄Do you have a Home Goods nearby. They have a lot of non-glitter bulbs.
My dad.lived through 87 and successfully came through quadruple bypass and a lot valve to replace one of his This was at 82. He contributed successfully going through this ok to an aspirin a day for 50 years. Look after yourselves love and best wishes from the uk
SUECAR, mom & l have atrial fib. Today her heart surgeon said there is a water pill specifically for FIBS!!! WISH I HAD THE NAME. TELL YOUR SON-IN-LAW ❤❤many prayers 🙏🏻 Nurse Judi
I told you before but you may not remember this but I was watching ( ugh aged brain!) Adler’s dad when he needed your help. I thought his older brother arrived and I kept waiting for you, wondering what you looked like. I didn’t believe you were Dad until a few episodes later when you were there again. So Grandpa, you’re not vain, you’re just held to a higher standard than us mortals. God Bless x
***Glad to see your doing good grandpa Doss after your surgery. I love my dogs, children and grandchildren…in no particular order…just like Chad says…lol. My entire life I’ve had between 1-3 dogs. My last boy, black lab mix as well, had a tumor attached to his spleen. He had surgery and it was removed with his spleen. There was no cancer beyond the tumor and spleen. This was March 2022. All my children are grown and my husband unexpectedly passed away on March 17, 2020. This was during the start of Covid and an extra long and lonely time for me. He didn’t pass from Covid though. He had just turned 56 yrs old. So my dog was my baby. He went everywhere with me. He got me through the worst time of my life when my husband passed. My dog (Tank) was a rescue. I took him in shortly after he turned 3. A little over a yr after his tumor and spleen surgery in May 2023 his stomach twisted. This happens in dogs usually after they ate. It’s an emergency medical condition that needs surgery asap before the stomach starts to die. I rushed him immediately to the veterinary hospital about a hr and 20 mins away (closest one). Of course this happened after midnight so his vet was closed. They did the surgery and everything went great. A few weeks later, Friday night before Father’s Day around 1 am he all of a sudden wasn’t doing well. I literally rushed him back to the emergency vet hospital. He was in multiple organ failure and this time there was no amount of money or surgeries that would save him. Tank passed about 1 1/2 months shy of his 12th birthday. I also gave Tank massages everyday. He also had a little bit of arthritis. So I understand your love for yours and Matt’s dog. I also ran a rescue farm for over 10 yrs and miss it greatly. That’s one of the reasons why I love watching yours and Chads videos. Thank you for sharing your lives with others. GOD bless you all. Take care.***
Thanks for helping Matt with his Christmas tree 🎄🎄🥰 Very excited about the additional land 👍👍 I hope and pray that your cardiac issues are resolved very soon 💕💕💕💕
Procrastination isn't always a bad thing especially when it comes out better then originally planned. Putting up the tree for Matt was so sweet of you guys. The tradition in my family has always been to put the tree up AFTER Thanksgiving. 🚫🎄Before 🦃😉 I do agree with Grandpa...more lights needed on the tree and they must be blinking😊 Grandpa, please don't stress out over not putting out a video and lose sleep over it...WE ALL will be here waiting for you😉❤ Stay Strong and Pray On 🙏🙏🙏 God Bless and Stay Safe 🙏❤️🙌 for ALL of the Doss Family
I had triple by-pass, after my heart attack, in October 2020. My heart surgeon had me on a different blood thinner for a very short time. He had me on a pain medicine for a short time. I am on a low dose aspirin once a day to this day. I keep Nitroglycerin as needed. I have taken it maybe twice a year since then. I go once a year, in January, to see my Cardiologist to make sure everything is ok. EKG is given to me at that time. I am about your age of 64. Take care of yourself. I watched ya’ll all the time, Matt, and Chad. We believe in prayer, and answered prayers.
I need to go back and watch the videos that I missed so I can get caught up. We lost our son very unexpectedly October 8, he was our only child so please remember us in prayer as we try to move forward. Continuing to pray for y’all.
Hello Ralph and LeeAnn! I’m a 74 yr old female he somehow developed A Fib 3 yrs ago. I have refused blood thinners because of two horror stories involving my family but I take aspirin and I am on famotidine for “heartburn”! I was on metoprolol until my blood pressure and pulse became dangerous low! I also have emphazeyma and COPD! My two doctors say I am doing fantastic on just the famotidine. So I continue saying my prayers and thanking God for his healing hand! So I am so glad you are doing so well and hope that being off those two meds will prove to be a good thing! Always saying prayer for both of you and send loads of love! ✝️ God Bless you both!💖💖
UPDATE: thank you for all your continued thoughts and prayers. Spinal surgery on the 5th went well, I am now back at Airbnb for recovery until I have my post op appointment with my Neurosurgeon on the 14th to check stitches and to determine when I am cleared to fly home and continue to learn a new way of life with physical changes along the physical limitations and challenges that a spinal fusion brings with it. Thanks again to all the Doss family as well as the extended Doss family for all your thoughts and prayer. They really mean a lot as my support circle is very small and hard to deal with these kinds of things on my own. Thanks again, Melody
So sweet of you 2 to help put Matt's tree up, etc. Should you get bored you're welcome to come put mine up too. 😂 You're always in my prayers. God Bless🎉.
Regarding Libby's arthritis. Kevin from Hidden Heights gives Mojo a bone broth for dogs that you mix with water and put on their daily food. It does wonders for Mojo.
Ralph and LeaAnn, it's been continuous rain here. And you all are the recipient, usually, of the weather here. I kept checking but I figured you all got rained out. Matt's going to love his tree. May God Bless you both and your family. 🙏❤️
THANK YOU!!!! what a surprise to be able to go along to Matt’s house to put up his tree🌲, he’s going to be so happy 😁. I can’t wait to go along for the ride of building and moving Matt over by y’all🤗. Everything will work out GREAT, there’s nothing that can’t be worked out. Just thought I’d add that I know I speak for many when I say I would watch y’all doing, or not doing anything😉😊. I love your whole family and am just grateful for y’all sharing so much of your lives with us so don’t worry about anything. All I want and pray for is your health to be great for you both, for everyone😇🙏🏻. God bless you always🙏🏻😇🩵😇🙏🏻
My smart watch records my heart rate & keeps track for my drs, keeps track of my pulse ox, BP, as well as my pacemaker checks every 3mos and annual eval. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏

It is scary testing new drugs, your Dad was brave & kind. Without testing we wouldn’t have a lot that we have for sure! 🙏🤗❤️
All artificial trees have to be fluffed to look good. It takes hours to get all the branches done. 🎄
And seconds if you have a cat to ruin your hard work😂
Ralph I'm 73 and have been through a lot. Experience tells me you may have to adjust to a new normal. You're doing great enjoy it. Love you both
I am 74, yes a🎉 new normal is essential. I am not a 20 year old any more so expect to slow down a bit. Remember aging has its benefits too!
Grandpa you can NEVER let us down ! We love you so ❤️🙏
Glad you talked the Doctor into going off the drugs. God is your healer.
Putting up a Christmas tree 🎄 is a project! Thanks for doing that for Matt. I know he appreciates it. You can always tell stories on the kids or answer questions for Friday cold weather options. We love the fireside chats. Hope you can find Beep Beep a good home.

I thought his older brother arrived and I kept waiting for you, wondering what you looked like. I didn’t believe you were Dad until a few episodes later when you were there again. So Grandpa, you’re not vain, you’re just held to a higher standard than us mortals. God Bless x
God bless all of you Doss Family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. So glad you’re a part of our Doss Farms Family. 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thanks for helping Matt with his Christmas tree 🎄🎄🥰 Very excited about the additional land 👍👍
I hope and pray that your cardiac issues are resolved very soon 💕💕💕💕

I love Christmas time but I put the tree up after Thanksgiving. So sweet to surprise Matt with putting up his! 🎄🎄
That was always our family tradition was to put the tree up on Thanksgiving night.
Happy to hear you both are doing great. Prayers
My husband has one of those monitors. The dr checks the reports when he goes for his appointments. It's a great little gadget.
Aww. Thank you. Ralph. I think you are great. If you miss a video, I'll understand. 😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
I need to go back and watch the videos that I missed so I can get caught up. We lost our son very unexpectedly October 8, he was our only child so please remember us in prayer as we try to move forward. Continuing to pray for y’all.
🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

✝️ God Bless you both!💖💖
Hello folks. Hope life is still treating you well. Hope the whole Doss family is doing great. ❤❤❤
God Bless🎉.
Matt will be delighted when he comes home and sees his tree up ready for Xmas…
Good evening Grandma and Granpa
That’s an awesome project to do for Matt 😊 Libby is beautiful…those eyes ❤ Saying prayers for smooth transition with no meds. 🙏
Love the pictures on your wall behind you both ❤😊
Regarding Libby's arthritis. Kevin from Hidden Heights gives Mojo a bone broth for dogs that you mix with water and put on their daily food. It does wonders for Mojo.
Mojo went from mostly lying around to sprinting around like a puppy. Very noticeable improvement.
Ralph and LeaAnn, it's been continuous rain here. And you all are the recipient, usually, of the weather here. I kept checking but I figured you all got rained out. Matt's going to love his tree. May God Bless you both and your family. 🙏❤️
You look like grandmas feeding you well. But nothing wrong with taking things slow.
