Eh, Dylan doesn't think these things through much. First of all, if you're poor, you should be focusing on lifting yourself out of poverty, not bringing a kid into it, secondly, is judgement not an issue anymore? Some people also just don't care that they're poor or they want things just handed to them. They're lazy, drug addicts, stupid people who buy things they can't afford on credit, Dylan mentions none of that. I think he's eaten too much left-wing propaganda. This was 2019, maybe he's changed.

People always talk about how good this episode is so I decided to give it a try. For the first third I was thinking, “ok I see how he’s gonna loop back the catchphrase” but near the end I completely forgot and started really getting wrapped up in all the horror Tim piled on. At one point I was standing in my kitchen thinking about how I was eating too much rice, and he goes “give up carbs that’ll solve everything!” and I lost it. Truly a special episode and by the time he said “life in the big city” at the end, it completely landed.
You suck at writing. Don't.
