I’ve been using top box on my ADV 390 for past year താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞ issue എന്റെ വണ്ടിയിലും ഉണ്ട്. Luggage ഇല്ലാത്തെ, kaali ആയി ഓടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇല്ല, പക്ഷേ 60-80 km/h സ്പീഡിൽ ഉണ്ട് 120-140 സ്പീഡിൽ ഇല്ല കുറച്ച് പൈസ ചിലവ് വന്നാലും Givi, SW Motech ഒക്കെ നല്ലോണം R/D ചെയ്ത പ്രോഡ്കറ്റ്സ് വാങ്ങുന്നത് ആണ് നല്ലത്.

I think the top box is making stability issues in the front suspension. Centre of gravity might have shifted towards the back a little due to the uneven distribution of weight ( mostly in lightweight bikes). . Whatever the physics behind it, they should've responded in responsible manner and take the adequate measures.
Bro, wobbling is not because of defective top box. By adding the top box you have modified the vehicle dynamics. Please check out with Suzuki dealer or OEM whether this top box is recommended or not.
its not he problem of the box its because of the aero dynamix of the bike when you go beyond 50. the bike is light weigh that affects the wind flow. even if you install any other branded box this will continue. you will feel less vobling in the other box because of it round shape. you can also try with tail bag in the back you will still feel the vobling.

Hi, it is not the problem with the product or aero per se. The problem is with weight distribution, especially with small and less heavy bikes with long wheelbase even the slightest addition of weight to the rear would drastically effect the front stabiity. When you are adding such weights to the rear you should add the adequte weight to the front as well to keep the original weight distribution intact. I understand Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a lighter bike with a front heavy weight distribution so adding weight to the front would help. Happy and Safe riding.

The problem is with the drag created by air flow and that too at a top area will easily effect the balance just like a rudder in aircraft... May be this box doesn't suit the specific bike or related with the design issue of box
Something you told about Bandidos is very much valid ..today itself we had a discussion about the kind of workshop staff they have at Thrissur ...i was telling my friend to not go there and screw up his bike. Know some guys who got their wiring screwed up by them and then brought it to a workshop I know....another guy rode his cb500x to Goa for ibw now and it was overheating...finally found out that these guys fixed a crash guard blocking the coolant line ...😂😂😂

ഞാനും ഈ same topbox വെച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് almost 6 months ആയിട്ടു use ചെയുന്നു, ചിലപ്പോ വേറെ മോഡൽ ആയിരിക്കും , എനിക്ക് ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു problem ഉണ്ടയായിട്ടില്ല ഇതുവരെ , അതും weekendsil topboxil luggage വെച്ച് shortrides പോവാറുള്ളതാണ് , maybe ഇത് ബൈകിന്റെ center of gravity പോലെ ഉള്ള technical issue അവനും ചാൻസ് ഉണ്ട് , എന്റെ പേർസണൽ യൂസിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു problem ഉണ്ടയായിട്ടില്ല , ഏന്തയായലും താങ്കളുടെ ബൈക്കിൽ ഇത് ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നതാണ് നല്ലതു , handle wobbling വളരെ അപകടമാണ് . Its not the fault of the product. The product they sell isn't defective. The box causes more resistance and affects the airodynamics during high speeds. And its not bizzare that they asked for a video without the box. The fault of the seller is that they could have informed the buyers that this issue might occur.
The issue is with the aerodynamics of the box since the box with more round shape is not giving that much stability issue. Plus the box is fixed in the far rear end which will cause more destabilizing forces. The shape of the box is the villain. This shape attracts more air drag and will give stability issue to the bike. obviously in higher speed.
That I am not sure, may be, after 90kmph the gyroscopic force might be stabilizing the front tyre, which counter acts the wobbling . Whatever it is ,select aerodynamically designed extra fittings for safety. Happy riding 😊
My friend , accessories of big bike like Tiger 900 and GS1250 use similar design with top box and pannier boxes. If aerodynamics was the problem they’d be experiencing the same issue right? Not trying to criticise or downplay anyone’s opinion, this is Just a doubt of mine.

The first response could have been better from the vendor. But from their point of view, its a valid question since they are not having the vehicle with them while you reported. And if there are similar issues from other users on the same make and model, you could easily file a complaint with consumer court.
I was using coocase 29 l topcase , on my 2018 suzuki gixxer for a couple of highway touring , im done with it , i dont use that anymore on touring , i use topcase for city use only just for erands , the main thing is adding weight unnessary to end of the motorcycle will destabilise the ride , and also wind resistance .now only tank bag and a tailbag for touring

I have the same wobbling issue with my CB 350 after mounting the JB racing top box. I took the bike to bigwing, because i had seen some other videos stating the wobbling issues with CB350 bikes. They too asked to remove the box and try the same. There were no issues. I have not created any video like yours. I bought this for my Hampi ride, took it since i had no other alternative to carry my luggages. There were issues througout the ride. Also i have another one more issue with the box, its jerking now. Some issues with the locking system. Using a bungee code to tie the box against the carrier 😀.
There is jerking and annoying noise, but let us leave that aside for now. The reason I made this video is because, this is dangerous. I have done three rides with this box, twice after that, the phone fell from the phone holder (which is also JB racing!). This might be due to the vibration and wobbling.
Cb 350/hness have already wobbling issue once your tyre reached 8000km.. No realation between top box. Without top box also hness bikes having wobbling.

Tail bag ആണ് long trip പോകുമ്പോൾ ഏറ്റവും ബെസ്റ്റ്. വിലയും കുറവ് ഒരുപാടു സാധനങ്ങളും വെക്കാം. ബോക്സിന്റെ പ്രയോജനം tail baginu കിട്ടില്ല എന്നത് ശെരി തന്നെ. പക്ഷെ എന്റെ choice എപ്പോഴും tail bag തന്നെയാണ്.

Givi നിശ്ചയിച്ച weight ലിമിറ് 3kg മാത്രമാണ് അതിനു മുകളിൽ weight കയറ്റിയപ്പോൾ എനിക്കും ഇതേ wobling ഉണ്ട്. ഒര് തരത്തിലും വണ്ടി ഓടിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. Don’t know much about your bike spec to have such box at the rear ( you should check the weight it can hold and the size allowed) but if they claim it’s fine to fit in your bike, you are absolutely fine to file a complaint. If they haven’t mentioned it it’s your responsibility to make sure the compatibility before purchasing it.

vstrom sx is a small bike , its better to avoid metal hard case , even thought it is aluminum its light weight , it weight 2 -3 kg empty . and max load for a top case is usually 5kg . so better avoid heavy topcase on small bikes , if its almost necessay go for abs plastic box or new soft topcase are also available .

Tale grab ിൽ fit ചെയ്യേണ്ടത് weight കുറഞ്ഞ aerodynamic design ഉള്ള ബോക്സ് ആണ്.
I am using coocase 36L on my dom 400. Curvy design. No issues at all. Maybe vehicle weight should also be considered. I had no issues. My doms doubke strong. But there will always be a drag no matter what top box we use..

Every manufacturer will clearly provide data about what is the maximum you can carry at the rear rack. Just imagine the motorcycle is meant for two people to travel, if you offset any load beyond that it will affect the chasis dymanics. A saddle bag alsmost mimic the weight of thighs of pillion rider but these top box is is sitting behind the pillion which means it is dangerous. This box is attached beyond the position any large load can be carried. Before buying such items take a look at these limitations with any motorcycles.
This particular motorcycle has a provision for the top box and that base plate is even provided by the manufacturer. There is also a recommended wt also. But this top box makes wobbling even if we keep it empty. And the other one which i showed in the video has no issues with huge weight also. So it's clear that the problem is not with the motorcycle it's the top box.. Its shape.

its just normal, having a huge heavy thing fitted at the tail end will reduce the front wheel stability and aerodynamics, it aint any defect with the luggage box, i prefer to fix a smaller box which will even look better, large box is makes your bike looks like a pizza delivery bike

True for them it's business but no ethics. I had issue while fixing the hand guard.. after fixing it self start stop working ...after re fixing the horn stopped.. 😅they just sell items in mass level...not professional people when it comes to byke fixing or repair. That's all
I doubt it could be because of aerodynamics. Probably vacuum (low pressure area) formation between behind the rider and the box. Check with pillion rider seated. If it's vacuum formation, wobbling shouldn't appear with a pillion rider . Additionally, consider testing with riders with different physique. Let me know the update.

Handle bar wobbling is common with top boxes. I ride transalp 750 with givi top box and have the same issue. You should equip with side panniers and balance it. You should check the fact before posting such videos.
No and i do not think that is necessary. All five of us using JB Racing boxes are experiencing this issue, whereas those using Givi boxes have no such wobbling problems.

JB ടെ മൊബൈൽ ഹോൾഡറിൽ നിന്നും രണ്ടു തവണ ഫോൺ താഴെ വീണു... രണ്ടും ഈ top box വച്ചു പോയ റൈഡിൽ... അതുകൊണ്ട് അതും ഈ top box കൊണ്ട് വന്ന വൈബ്രേഷൻ കാരണം ആവാൻ ആണ് സാധ്യത. പിന്നെ givi നല്ലതാണ് എന്ന് കേട്ടു. ഏത് വാങ്ങിയാലും വോബ്ലിങ് ഉണ്ടായാൽ പൈസ റിട്ടേൺ വേണം എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ വാങ്ങണം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ use tail bag.

@Thefoodietripper there is a problem when we ride solo with top box ...the gap between rider and top box interrupt the aerodynamics and if the top box is heavier comparing the motorcycle it will definitely creates stability issues for motorcycles...Also such a heavy metal top box is recommended for heavy motorcycles like litre class or above 500cc ,use lightweight small top box for quarter class motorcycle like this.
The only thing which Bandidos does better is promotion. I didn’t like their shop and their recommendations when i visited their shop. They are just promoting some specific brands. Better to do your own research before buying products during such promotion sales.
I am riding 390Adv , have the same box I have same problem, wobbling around 50 to 57 kmph. Higher speeds vobling is settled , but it is very uncomfortable to have this effect, especially on light curves. Not sure wether bandidos has to be complained, or the severe lack of R&D to this issue. But one thing is for sure Response from BANDIDOS is not acceptable.
Actually i have not weighed it, seems like around 5kg. Suzuki recommends less than 6kg. Even though the other top box seen in this video is not making any kind of wobbling or vibration even loaded more than 10kg.

താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞ issue എന്റെ വണ്ടിയിലും ഉണ്ട്. Luggage ഇല്ലാത്തെ, kaali ആയി ഓടിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇല്ല, പക്ഷേ 60-80 km/h സ്പീഡിൽ ഉണ്ട്
120-140 സ്പീഡിൽ ഇല്ല
കുറച്ച് പൈസ ചിലവ് വന്നാലും Givi, SW Motech ഒക്കെ നല്ലോണം R/D ചെയ്ത പ്രോഡ്കറ്റ്സ് വാങ്ങുന്നത് ആണ് നല്ലത്.

Dominar 400 aanu ente vandi. Athil Motocrux enna brandinte oru 36 ltr aluminium top box vechu. Both highway and city use with and without luggage. ithuvare oru issues um face chythitilla. Highways il boxil luggage kettit 115 to 125 kl/hr il oke poitund, but faced no issues yet. So, nalla products use chythal oke aanu ennanu ente opinion.

I think the top box is making stability issues in the front suspension. Centre of gravity might have shifted towards the back a little due to the uneven distribution of weight ( mostly in lightweight bikes).

Bro, wobbling is not because of defective top box. By adding the top box you have modified the vehicle dynamics. Please check out with Suzuki dealer or OEM whether this top box is recommended or not.

its not he problem of the box its because of the aero dynamix of the bike when you go beyond 50. the bike is light weigh that affects the wind flow. even if you install any other branded box this will continue. you will feel less vobling in the other box because of it round shape. you can also try with tail bag in the back you will still feel the vobling.

Hi, it is not the problem with the product or aero per se. The problem is with weight distribution, especially with small and less heavy bikes with long wheelbase even the slightest addition of weight to the rear would drastically effect the front stabiity. When you are adding such weights to the rear you should add the adequte weight to the front as well to keep the original weight distribution intact. I understand Suzuki V-Strom 250 is a lighter bike with a front heavy weight distribution so adding weight to the front would help.

The problem is with the drag created by air flow and that too at a top area will easily effect the balance just like a rudder in aircraft... May be this box doesn't suit the specific bike or related with the design issue of box

Something you told about Bandidos is very much valid ..today itself we had a discussion about the kind of workshop staff they have at Thrissur ...i was telling my friend to not go there and screw up his bike. Know some guys who got their wiring screwed up by them and then brought it to a workshop I know....another guy rode his cb500x to Goa for ibw now and it was overheating...finally found out that these guys fixed a crash guard blocking the coolant line ...😂😂😂

Sunday ആയിരുന്നു അവർ 5 മണി വരെ ഷോപ്പ് open ആണ് എന്ന് കേട്ട് പോയതാ. മുന്നിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ ഒരുമാതിരി show 4:35 ആയുള്ളൂ... പിന്നെ request ചെയ്തപ്പോ ഉള്ളിൽ കേറ്റി. ഒരു goggles എടുത്തു.. 950 something. Its not the fault of the product. The product they sell isn't defective. The box causes more resistance and affects the airodynamics during high speeds. And its not bizzare that they asked for a video without the box. The fault of the seller is that they could have informed the buyers that this issue might occur.

The issue is with the aerodynamics of the box since the box with more round shape is not giving that much stability issue. Plus the box is fixed in the far rear end which will cause more destabilizing forces. The shape of the box is the villain. This shape attracts more air drag and will give stability issue to the bike. obviously in higher speed.

That I am not sure, may be, after 90kmph the gyroscopic force might be stabilizing the front tyre, which counter acts the wobbling . Whatever it is ,select aerodynamically designed extra fittings for safety. Happy riding 😊

And if there are similar issues from other users on the same make and model, you could easily file a complaint with consumer court.

I was using coocase 29 l topcase , on my 2018 suzuki gixxer for a couple of highway touring , im done with it , i dont use that anymore on touring , i use topcase for city use only just for erands , the main thing is adding weight unnessary to end of the motorcycle will destabilise the ride , and also wind resistance .now only tank bag and a tailbag for touring

I have the same wobbling issue with my CB 350 after mounting the JB racing top box. I took the bike to bigwing, because i had seen some other videos stating the wobbling issues with CB350 bikes. They too asked to remove the box and try the same. There were no issues. I have not created any video like yours. I bought this for my Hampi ride, took it since i had no other alternative to carry my luggages. There were issues througout the ride. Also i have another one more issue with the box, its jerking now. Some issues with the locking system. Using a bungee code to tie the box against the carrier 😀.
There is jerking and annoying noise, but let us leave that aside for now. The reason I made this video is because, this is dangerous. I have done three rides with this box, twice after that, the phone fell from the phone holder (which is also JB racing!). This might be due to the vibration and wobbling.

Givi നിശ്ചയിച്ച weight ലിമിറ് 3kg മാത്രമാണ് അതിനു മുകളിൽ weight കയറ്റിയപ്പോൾ എനിക്കും ഇതേ wobling ഉണ്ട്. ഒര് തരത്തിലും വണ്ടി ഓടിക്കാൻ പറ്റാത്ത അവസ്ഥ. Don’t know much about your bike spec to have such box at the rear ( you should check the weight it can hold and the size allowed) but if they claim it’s fine to fit in your bike, you are absolutely fine to file a complaint. If they haven’t mentioned it it’s your responsibility to make sure the compatibility before purchasing it.
My bike is Vstrom 250, they have mentioned this top box is fine with it. Also i confirmed that by chatting with their executive before the purchase.

vstrom sx is a small bike , its better to avoid metal hard case , even thought it is aluminum its light weight , it weight 2 -3 kg empty . and max load for a top case is usually 5kg . so better avoid heavy topcase on small bikes , if its almost necessay go for abs plastic box or new soft topcase are also available .
This product is actually abs material... It will wobble the bike even if we keep it empty.

I am using coocase 36L on my dom 400. Curvy design. No issues at all. Maybe vehicle weight should also be considered. I had no issues. My doms doubke strong. But there will always be a drag no matter what top box we use..

Every manufacturer will clearly provide data about what is the maximum you can carry at the rear rack. Just imagine the motorcycle is meant for two people to travel, if you offset any load beyond that it will affect the chasis dymanics. A saddle bag alsmost mimic the weight of thighs of pillion rider but these top box is is sitting behind the pillion which means it is dangerous. This box is attached beyond the position any large load can be carried. Before buying such items take a look at these limitations with any motorcycles.
This particular motorcycle has a provision for the top box and that base plate is even provided by the manufacturer. There is also a recommended wt also. But this top box makes wobbling even if we keep it empty. And the other one which i showed in the video has no issues with huge weight also. So it's clear that the problem is not with the motorcycle it's the top box.. Its shape.

its just normal, having a huge heavy thing fitted at the tail end will reduce the front wheel stability and aerodynamics, it aint any defect with the luggage box, i prefer to fix a smaller box which will even look better, large box is makes your bike looks like a pizza delivery bike

I doubt it could be because of aerodynamics. Probably vacuum (low pressure area) formation between behind the rider and the box.
Check with pillion rider seated. If it's vacuum formation, wobbling shouldn't appear with a pillion rider . Additionally, consider testing with riders with different physique.

Handle bar wobbling is common with top boxes. I ride transalp 750 with givi top box and have the same issue. You should equip with side panniers and balance it. You should check the fact before posting such videos.
I checked several times before posting the video. As you can see in the video, my friends using Givi top boxes have no wobbling issues at any speed...

@Thefoodietripper there is a problem when we ride solo with top box ...the gap between rider and top box interrupt the aerodynamics and if the top box is heavier comparing the motorcycle it will definitely creates stability issues for motorcycles...Also such a heavy metal top box is recommended for heavy motorcycles like litre class or above 500cc ,use lightweight small top box for quarter class motorcycle like this.

The only thing which Bandidos does better is promotion. I didn’t like their shop and their recommendations when i visited their shop. They are just promoting some specific brands. Better to do your own research before buying products during such promotion sales.

I am riding 390Adv , have the same box I have same problem, wobbling around 50 to 57 kmph. Higher speeds vobling is settled , but it is very uncomfortable to have this effect, especially on light curves. Not sure wether bandidos has to be complained, or the severe lack of R&D to this issue. But one thing is for sure Response from BANDIDOS is not acceptable.

Actually i have not weighed it, seems like around 5kg. Suzuki recommends less than 6kg. Even though the other top box seen in this video is not making any kind of wobbling or vibration even loaded more than 10kg.
