In this version of Halloween IV, Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are dropped into the world of 80's rock. Seriously. You have to hear it to believe it! Thanks for watching!

Could have written a cross over where instead of falling into lake Michigan , Michael purifies himself in the waters of
lake Minnettonka and is fought off by Prince.

A way to do comedy right in the movie is after Michael runs over pedestrians he sits silently and he turns on the windshield wipers to clear blood from the windshield.
Just two or three swipes as he sits silently and then he drives away
You know how in Halloween 5, Michael is driving around in a muscle car and wears leather gloves when he picks up Tina? Maybe they got inspiration from this script on that?

Never have I been excited to see a "Movie Intro" as the one that Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers delivers. That eerie ambience is chilling/creepy as it is genius. I am sure it made moviegoers in 1988 excited while they were sitting in the Theater.
Jason Vs. Michael Myers movie would be sick though. I image Michael showing up at the camp because of something similar to this Halloween 4 script. Hoisted up by a gurney but cutting himself loose and falling into Crystal Lake instead. The story continues from there.
Side Note: "Taking Shape II" is a great read and worth getting if you're a Halloween fan or are curious to see what direction the series could have gone via the different sequels, spin-offs, and reboots that were pitched.
Michael unintentionally killing 12 people in a car because he can’t drive stick is my favorite death scene in the entire series and it wasn’t even filmed.
I can just imagine that song "bad to the bone" playin when michael puts the leather gear on .... terminator 2 style lol
Or that playing when he wrecks the car
The whole script could be transformed into a cool version of Jason takes Manhattan. Honestly really awesome to think about
Honestly, I'm with Mike on this one, this would've been so cool to see on screen if simply just for how 80s it would be. Also, the scene with Michael driving the Porsche? Dude, I swear to God I could hear Billy Idol's White Wedding playing in my head for the scene, the car pulling up with the license plate reading MANIAC1 as Michael peels out, the line from the song saying "It's a nice day to...start again!"
I'd picture Michael in the Porsche, turns the key, & all of a sudden it starts playing Alice Cooper "He's Back (Man Behind the Mask)" To all the people who ask JLC about the hockey mask
Haha Super Shredder AKA Kevin Nash was epic back in the cinema in 91'. I can still remember the audience reaction. Almost as epic as the original.

I feel like we should keep the Halloween 4 we have and then use this script for Halloween 5. This movie just would’ve been too fun and I want it!
H4 was a classic and my favorite installment. Im glad that they didn't go in this direction at all!
I love the original and h2 but 4 was a good return but that mask just lowers it just below 2

Look up the killer from "boogeyman pop" it looks almost exactly like how Michael is described in this script
A cool script idea would be if the rockstar was wearing a jumpsuit like Micheal in the first two. Then Laurie while interviewing the rockstar remembers the jumpsuit Micheal wears in the first two movies. Then Micheal kills the rockstar and the groupie and steals the jumpsuit and a Micheal Myers looking mask.
That would be funny as fuck

The key toss, leather jacket and pants reminds me of the Terminator lmfaoo. I'd add some spikes to the jacket though, have the outfit resemble Danny Ketch's Ghost Rider lol
I enjoy the gas station scene and the scene with Loomis in the car with the priest too much to trade it
seems pretty cool. kinda like a Jason Lives version. i'm not really a fan of the comedy and stuff in Jason lives. there's some good idea's here though if they just tone down some of the goofyness. the actual H4 was a little dry, this script was pretty fun.
How the hell does he get off the roof so fast after Rachel falls onto the lawn ??

yeah the alternative Halloween 4s and 5s the book go over are so surreal in that they would never work and would feel off, but I also really want to see them.
The other possible reason Loomis may have been Laurie's doctor, is to make sure she doesn't turn into another Michael.
The Halloween franchise is never going away. It’s become Bond esque after 40 years.
I liked most of the plotline for the story, but why the hell would they be airlifting Michael Myers on the OUTSIDE of the helicopter?

I would have killed to see punk rock 80s Michael, could've have been hilarious, but i definitely prefer the actual Halloween 4 that we got lol.
Halloween 4 was JUST the right amount of 80s and 70s mixed together. You had the big hair and the clear time change but the pace and violence and characters remained as important as the original. Halloween 5 might as well had Punk Michael with how much bafoonery; the cops, the suddenly meta Michael Myers prank, the Man In Black, Michael suddenly having a tattoo...Rachel just dying.

It’s like the evil dead remake I don’t thing if they would have done it the way it was done in the eighties would have worked it the remake you could only get away with it in the 80s and early 90s

If Michaels jumpsuit got damaged, I wouldn't mind the leather jacket. Not leather pants, not leather cloves, and no flipping up the keys. Some 80s new wave and rock would be fun in a Halloween flick.
I literally got taking shape II for Christmas and I’m already halfway done with it, it is such a good book and there was honestly some pretty damn good ideas in the book for some Halloween sequels I’m not gonna lie.
Nightmare 4 had "Doe-ken" ? Who the he'll were "Doe-ken"? I remember Dokken.

Punk Michael belongs to Halloween 5. You had Tina gagoogaling all the time, the Cops with the clown theme, sudden duplicate Shape masks as an apparent prank, a man in black, sudden tattoos, an ENTIRELY different Myers house...he *should* have had a spiked jacket.

I loved this story and I thought this could have been part four, and part four could have been part five.
This movie sounds like such a glorious mess.
Actually I feel like all of these scripts would work as good fan films to tie in to the different timelines while also not messing up anything with the actual films.
The thing with all these unused scripts that have crazy action set pieces and lots of legacy characters... there's NO WAY they'd ever have the budget. Look how small scale 4 and 5 feel.

You guya should hear john carpenter's version of halloween II. It was set around a few years after the first one and it had laurie strode living in a multiplex apartment. It sounded pretty interesting
That sounds like JC first film with Laura Hutton! I'm starting to think DGG read this book. Kills is like them trying to meld everything together. Ends will definitely be this being a nightmare or dream of hers or Michael's. I just can't help but see how this would make sense with some of the things we do know.
