      I did a 6 month submarine deployment with a Phillips 3200 in my wardroom. Served 25 people daily multiple drinks a day and never had a single issue with it.

    My Jura S8 is also so amazing today at appr 5000 drinks with no issues. That said the milk cooler has issues , you only run it daily then shut off at night or at some point if running it 24/7 the board inside will crap out and your milk will freeze up. Not covered under warranty .

    Hey, I had the Philips Lattego 3200 for a year and then 3 red lights appeared and it wouldn't work. I kept it clean and did all of the necessary upkeep. What I found out was the Philips doesn't fix their machines. Their customer service number for their coffee machines is horrible, constant disconnects and people you can't understand when you get through. I had them e-mail service companies that would fix my machine and they sent me two. The first said they only fix Philips large appliances and not coffee machines. The second was a sketchy place in the Bronx that couldn't stop dropping the F bomb when speaking to me. Who does that? Anyway, they said it would take 9 months to complete the repair. WTF? Anyway, does anyone out there know of a repair place near Washington D.C.? Thanks.

      @yevgeniydundukov8179 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unless you are an experienced machine repair technician, there is a parts diagram that you can use to determine what needs to be replaced and order it from European warehouses. The machine itself is made in Romania, and spare parts for it will be difficult to find. espressoresourcenw.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/2200-and-3200-Series-SEV.pdf
      As such, they are not intended to be repaired by design. There are several user replaceable parts such as brewing unit, LatteGo container, hot water tap, water tank, drip tray. Otherwise, the machine is just disposable.

    I had an absolute nightmare experience with Delonghi trying to get my machine warranty worked on years back. Warning their customer service is nonexistent, I finally got the machine repaired at an independent shop at my own expense and then sold it so I would never have to deal with Delonghi again.

      I am 3 years on, and 8500 coffees (according to the counter ..), on a Jura S8, and no dramas.
      Sure at the 10 year mark ... and 28000 coffees .. I would expect it to concede defeat. What super auto wouldnt though after the almost commercial environment its been subjected to?
      I would suggest if you dont want problems and want something to last 20+ years, look at Rocket or Rancilio espresso machines, and pair it with a Mazzer.
      All in, its about the same price as a good Jura super auto. It probably comes down to if you cbf grinding, tamping, hovering over controls etc.
      I cbf, so I went the Jura option. Perhaps when I retire from work later on I will look at more manual type machines, as I will have the free time.
      Lastly, dont forget fresh beans. Ensure they are date roasted, preferably under a week or two old. Discard anything a month or older, they are stale af. That is probably the most important part of the coffee puzzle.

      @@worldview2134 Np. I would suggest also consider what coffees your household drinks. No point getting the top end one if all you drink is espresso etc. S8 is great, I would buy it again no problem. However my next one will be Z10, if Jura dont release a better one. I am expecting 10 years out of mine, though its had a hard life, so we will see how we go. Plenty of videos on here about how good Jura are, though for me the proof is in the cup, and providing you use good beans, it produces excellent coffee, certainly cafe quality. I have had coffee from $30k La Marzocco machines that dont taste anywhere near like mine. I concede perhaps they were using garbage beans, or a noob barista. Anyway, enjoy your cup if you decide to go for a Jura.

    Until they can make the milk come out of these machines with some decent heat I'm holding off. I tried a Jura model, but had to return it as the milk drinks were lukewarm at best. I think these manufacturers think we're going to scald our crotches off and sue them if they make these machines with better temp control, but until they do these machines are not meeting important expectations when it comes to liquid temperatures.

    • @SoleilMagica
      @SoleilMagica 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think some machine's can be configurated to change the temperature of the milk. Either way, i would never recommend putting milk in your machine, because it will grow mold inside the tubes which you will never be able to remove.

    I bought a 3200, the functionality and cleaning convenience was great. But it totally doesn’t get hot enough. Philips claims the high setting gets to 203F, but I and others have measured it at 183, which is just too cold, even with pre-warming a cup, the coffee just gets too cold too fast as a result of the low output temp.
    So ended up returning it.
