Great video. I'll definitely be checking out this series soon thanks to your praise. There is a sudden cut around 4:25 where the Interplay drama is missing.
Great video lock, I really enjoyed watching it. You’ve given me an expectation of quality, care, and love from the way you put together your creations. Keep it up buddy.
I never heard of your other channel before, but I just found your channel in my recommended. Awesome review and made me excited to play a franchise I was sleeping on in a genre I love! Subbed and cheers!
Great job, Lock! This is exactly the type of gaming video I like. A deep dive into a specific topic like this, with the history and aptly explaining why the series is cool and should be looked at. I'm subbed and I'm gonna bust
Great game and great video. As someone else said, I had no idea this channel existed until you mentioned it on Summon Sign and it was pretty tough to find. Glad you’re doing it though! Just gotta get the word out
Hell yeah. Good stuff Lock. Definitely want to give this a go. I'm just not a fan of these turn based games but I'm missing out on alot. Looking forward to future essays, reviews, and of course your thoughts on Kingdom Come 2. Keep it up man!
Great work, very comprehensive and well put together! Can't wait for DA2, it's my favorite one in the franchise and I'm always interested in other's opinions.
I didn't see much about this game and it was luck that it appeared (maybe because I had already played Westland 2), and I ended up replaying it several times in a row... I really liked it.
Wasteland 2 isn't quite up to the scale of 3 but it should definitely not be slept on. It doesn't have quite the production that Wasteland 3 has but the overall mechanics are similar enough and it makes playing through 3 more fun when you run into quite a few characters from the second game. It makes them a lot more personal when you actually know who they are and where they came from.
Wasteland 2 WAS NOT a great CRPG - I played it; it was bugged as fuck, and only about HALF finished at best - at one point and when I played it, you literally could not likely complete the last act. It would just crash. Or bug out... so fuck off with the idea that just because a game comes out, and has RPG mechanics means it's "great." There were like 3 SKILLS that were actually necessary, or worth taking. >.< I also played Wasteland 3 when it came out - it was JUST as BUGGED AS FUCK. It's NOT a great system = and just because something is the progenitor of X doesn't mean it's Good. It means it was the beginning. The prototype. Which is another series I wish either had better implemented mechanics, power ups you gain JUST by playing. Nevermind sneaking into a fucking base without any abilities and hoping to fuck you can "eat" the right guy... Gah. And a clearer path to what the fuck you're supposed to do - that everyone else seems to hype to the moon as the greatest thing since sliced bread. : / Shit like these two games and Pillars's series are EXACTLY why I do not and never will trust either paetron or kickstarter games. Pillars = Durh, let's implement a home base that ends up being a resource TAX. Rather than any sort of actual benefit. In BOTH FUCKING GAMES!!!
This is Brian Fargo and I approve this video. ;) Nice job on the research and getting the history correct on the franchises.
Great video. I'll definitely be checking out this series soon thanks to your praise.

I sadly got a copyright strike for using "'sweet child of mine" there so TH-cam cut that part out. I wish I could fix it in some other way.
I had to dig a little to find your channel after you mentioned it on Summon Sign this week. Looking forward to the Starfield video!
I replay Wasteland 3 every year at least. I fucking love this game.

What games do you like?
Wasteland series is awesome but Fallout 1 & 2 are still the best post apocalyptic crpgs imo
