This is sooo good. I wish I would’ve saw this when I started. There is sooo much to learn as a new NP besides just the clinical aspect of being a provider.
Liz thank you for this! I’m graduating with my PMHNP in May and I had no idea where to start with job hunting, resume building, and overall how to get a job!
I am a new FNP trying to find a job and having some difficulty in my area. I don’t have a clinical job right now and have been away from bedside for a year and a half. Should I try to get an RN job in the meantime?
Excellent tips! At this point, we are hiring almost anyone with a ton of jobs open and few candidates. Last I RN and NP applicants I turned down was because of their references. #SimTribe
Hey! I have a question that I’m hopping you can answer. I am an upcoming undergrad and I know I want to pursue NP. I received a large scholarship under a Biology major. Is there anyway I can use my Biology major to become a NP? Or I must major in nursing to receive my BSN? Thank you!
Hi! I am a NP student, going into Psych-Mental health. I work inpatient Psych, and will have 3-4 inpatient experience by the time I graduate. I worry about when I graduate that I will have trouble finding a job because I will be 26. I worry that I will look too young for employers, even though I am very confident/experienced in the field. Any advise for overcoming that when job searching/marketing myself?
Not sure how I ended up on this channel, but I just want to thank all of you nurses for all that you do. You are true heroes!
love your channel !! Amanda is great will definitely keep her in mind when I graduate

It's amazing to hear those two ladies. Kudos to you guys. Thanks for your amazing tips. I'm surely going to apply them in my new np career.

Sure! You can do a direct entry NP program after graduating with your biology dree.
@@NurseLiz Thank you! Would you recommend this route since it will take more time? Or going for a BSN to a RN to further my NP journey?
