Instructions:
Close all doors.
Open driver’s door.
Carry out the following procedure within 24 seconds:
Turn ignition switch ON and back to LOCK position 3 times.
Close and then open the door 3 times (ending with door open)
Ensure doors lock and unlock.
If not, wait 40 seconds and repeat procedure starting with driver’s door already open.
Press UNLOCK button of each key remote transmitter twice.
Ensure doors lock and unlock after each operation.
If not, proceed as follows:
Open and close driver’s door once.
Ensure doors lock and unlock twice.
Repeat procedure starting with driver’s door already open

my key dont have remote to open and close doors.
Can i do programming to any after market remote and use for open and close doors.
I imagine it would be universally compatible. You will have to buy the correct model.

I have a 2010 Mazda 6 and I have tried this so many times with no luck. Any idea on what could be the problem?
Did you change out with new batteries? It could be the FOB. Next time you should have Mazda take a look or ask the assistant. Make sure they don't charge you tho.

Yep that is me I done everything right but one , I didn't check the battery on keypod to see if it was good since I had put a new one in it a while back I didn't think it would have gone bad but it did I change it and have it working, thanks

My Mazda is push start button and not ignition key so I can’t turn 3 times off and on, any suggestions?

Hello. Please help. My mazda cx9 2008 has a keyless. 2 cards that work once and fail. Then I have to put the metal key in the ignition. Then the engine always starts. If you manage to start the engine without the key, the "key" light flashes red on the board. Smart key opens and closes the car. The only problem is sometimes I turn the ignition switch and the second time I do not and I have to take the key, the tip. The buttons on the door handle also do not work. Sometimes I press the button multiple times and manage to open the door. I have the impression that the cards are not always seen by the keyless module. What could be the problem? Forscan shows an error. Code: B1600 - PATS ignition key transponder signal is not received.
- Possible causes -
- Defective ignition key
- PATS antenna or cables damaged
- Damage to the PCM

Sorry to hear that but that sounds very complex. Have you talked to the dealer? I would suggest searching on TH-cam for similar problems because your model dates back to 2008.
Hey do you know how to program a mazda 3 2015 key? They give me a key that I need to program but it cost 100 bucks just to program it what a scam!
Did this not work? I'm sure if you search in TH-cam, somebody has probably made a video.
I have followed these instructions dozens of times and the car (2005 Mazda 3) never goes into programming mode. Any ideas?

will this work for a fob that is programmed to a different mazda key, in other words can the fob be re-programmed for the new car key from my old mazda 3 vehicle?
