The part that was left out was why Sinjin would be interested in Jade. I guessed that he may be attracted to how verbally abusive Jade is, because he sees that as part of a normal relationship (his mother and father probably fought a lot). There wasn't any evidence to support this though, so...here I am adding it to the comment section.
I got the impression they were friends or even otgether at some point in the distant past and that's why she isn't as horrible to him as everyone else. If she genuinely knows how his home life is or that he only became as bad as he is because of her then guilt could play a part in the tame response to his questionable behaviour.

I'm my opinion I think he likes Jade because Jade treats him just like everyone else. Most people are mean to just him, but Jade is mean to everyone, so maybe it makes him feel normal. I don't know, it's just a theory lol

Jade reaction to Sinjin was a mix of rage and worry, She knows he is desperate but still creeps her out, and if something creeps Jade, that thing must be scary
She didn’t assault him or yell at him she felt bad for him and disturbed at the same time

It’s a shame that we didn’t get another season or two of this show, because during the later episodes of the final season, it seemed like they were trying to involve him with the main cast more. Especially in “Victori-Yes” when Beck brings him to that car race, and Beck tells him that he thinks he’s a pretty cool person after all. I feel like he could’ve potentially become an actual cast member like Gibby did in the later episodes of iCarly.
That might have been the most wholesome moment from the show😭

Sinjin and becks friendship had alot of plot ideas
1. Beck forbidding Jade to be mean to him anymore
2. Beck no longer being cool
3. Beck helping Sinjin find a girlfriend

i dont think so. if jade and beck would break up, she could find a new boyfriend, but that new boyfriend would never be sinjin because she doesn't like him. so that's why I think that the fact that he has a huge crush on her doesn't matter in the possible friendship of beck and sinjin

@@user-fv7om7qf4o hi there! No disrespect at all…long time ED sufferer here (first got diagnosed 18 years ago). Chewing and spitting falls under anorexia. Bulimia involves consuming food and getting rid of it (whether it’s through vomiting, laxatives, etc).
He is a good person. People just let his weirdness get the better of them. He’s always there for the main squad and should’ve joined them

I think the sock puppet clip is the most telling. Jade is genuinely concerned about him.
One thing I wished they showed more of is his saxophone skills. (Probably because I’m a saxophonist) I mean, you can’t just establish something only to forget about it.

I always thought Robbie and Sinjin were written to be so weird/creepy, but also really entertaining to watch. As always, this was an amazing video and very well thought out. Keep up the good work!
I also think there's a case to be made that Jade and Sinjin both have mental health issues going on. That might make him feel more attached to her because he thinks she could understand better. And it could be the reason she's softer to him in the sock puppet scene because she sees he needs help and maybe even sympathizes with him
Robbie wasnt creepy and weird, maybe the whole puppet thing was weird and himnwsnting to date every girl and kiss them, other then that he was pretty fine and they got along, even jade said “I only tolerate Robbie”
@@majestyxo He did make cardboard cutouts of Cat though, AND it was implied he stalked around Tori and Trina's house at night. Plus there's the Slap video where he kept kissing Tori despite her not wanting him to and trying to push him away.

Ariana's real brother, Frankie, is the villain in the musical episode of Henry Danger. However, I'm pretty sure he isn't canonically related to Cat.
@@sb4825 Unfortunately Henry Danger is in the same universe, and there a character named Frankini is heavily implied to be Cats brother
he appeared in the episode live and dangerous from Henry danger and he made a few other appearances in the show like in the musical episode and he has appeared a few times in the Henry danger spinoff show danger force. His name is Frankini and his assistant is Goomer The same character from Sam and cat. The way we know that a Frankini is cats brother is because Goomer says that he used to hang out with Frankinis sister a lot which is of course referring to cat

Where sinjin really won me over is when he stood up tor Trina when no one on the show did. Maybe tori, but even she does not not stand up for her that much. It made me respect him more.
I wish they made him less creepy, but there were times where he should have been treated better.
Sinjin might have been weird but he's definitely very loyal.
When jade confronts him, did you notice he said "I'm not hurting anyone" he definitely has a good heart, he's just wired weirdly.

i love how the sock puppet scene was handled perfectly. like no joke they couldve gone and turn it into another gag but instead they have jade genuinely concerned about him and i think thats sweet
as an autistic guy i always sort of related to sinjin? i also was VERY socially awkward in high school and didn't understand how to approach people or form lasting friendships. he's got a special place in my heart.
also, that scene with jade? genuinely some of the best acting and writing in the victorious canon. wish we got to see that side of jade more often.
I met Sinjin when I got tickets to go to the KCA. I felt bad because he was outside all alone, but my father was all “let’s a get a pic” and yea. It was cool but I felt bad. Lol

The characters we see in Victorious are all through how Sinjin views them but the time we see the real them is that Jade clip where she's very out of character lol or he's just Sinjin and this is how it be haha

One thing you forgot to mention is that Beck seemed to the be the only member of the group that considered Sinjin a friend, even before the race, he never made fun of him, insulted him, and even straight up called him his "friend" during the queries for couples gameshow. He and Jade were fighting and Beck says "we are trying to help our FRIEND with his gameshow!" Both interesting and a bit odd considering that Sinjin's always trying to steal his girl lol.
Beck doesn't consider Sinjin a threat. And Jade can handle herself quite well.
This is probably my favorite analysis of yours I never knew Sinjin had this much layers
Imagine a Victorious revival (probably taking place at a school reunion) and everyone has kind of drifted apart, giving the show a reason to catch us up on their lives, but Back and Sinjin are still friends after all these years
As weird as he is he's my favorite character.
I guess after this you could do a Sam & Cat Analysis and on the characters of Nona, Dice and Goomer. I'd also be interested in your theory on the fan controversy as to whether or not Henry Danger supervillain Frankini is Cat Valentine's weird brother.
Sinjin and Robbie are just as nerdy and awkward as each other but in different ways. Robbie has better social skills than Sinjin does but Sinjin is an overall more confident person.
Sinjin has always been an interesting character that I’ve tried to wrap my head around… so thanks for the analysis
Maybe Gabriella just became his friend rather than his girlfriend and if they don’t ever make a revival for this show then maybe you can do videos about tops or fan made episodes like the one you did about the last episode
i think that, maybe once you're done with the victorious cast, that you should maybe start analyzing characters from drake & josh. i'd love to see a megan parker analysis, like where did she get all of her weird spy-like equipment, her relationship with her brothers, etc.

To be honest Sinjin is a great guy in victorious so yeah in some episodes that I watch he does have a crush on Jade West and I think he sometimes cares about his friends even though he isn't part of their main group you know

One thing a victorious revival would be good for, is to get more diversion and character depth. What would be so great about that, is the fact that it would give room for the characters to be written as real people (not as stereotypes to play around with for interaction). Maybe it could even dive into the importance of art, and the traps and compromises of fame.
Now that is a show I would love to watch.

I always wondered how Sinjin got into Hollywood arts as well. 🤔 I know he plays the Sax but since he is in the show regularly enough it would have been nice to see him do a proper audition too. Especially when they had to explain why Trina was also there.
