I figured the wording on Ares was the same as for Quake. Blender build. Friend of mine used Ares with the SR Blade from Wheels of Vengeance. With his penetrating aoe triggering for each hit character. On a side note, wasn't the barrel in Silver now?

Shuri/klaw is definitely the better of the two. I did buy both because I can get them less then msrp.

It's hard to justify the purchase of the PaH kits without terrain or legacy cards. The figures aren't bad but they aren't really all that exciting. I do like to play MoE and that Klaw seems cool, but there's no MoE figs that make use of the vibranium sadly. With the deluge of products I have to give them a pass I think

So something i noticed during the first Darkseid Mind Control at around 6:40 hes doing triple targets onto Scott, Kazar (before shape change, Zabu After) and Proteus, but Darkseid shouldnt be able to draw line of fire to Zabu/Ka-Zar since he only has improved movement characters not targeting, doesn't matter in the long run since this match happened 3 weeks ago and its already an uphill battle for Darkseid teams since the weekend this happened and the subsequent weekend had a metric ton of Darkseid hate running around. But just a funny little thing i noticed since his attack to both intersected the Scott Porter square on the attack. Poor Proteus though only had a 1/3 chance

Pretty fun looking dials. Not sure if I'll be getting them for me, but i have a busy who is an absolute spider nut and I'll be picking it up for them. I know you mention the special art treatments on the Iconix but i love love LOVE how the point totals are marvel value stamps! 😙👌

The swinging one needs to have a friend with plasticity. Both will be amazing in events that limit you to close combat. I have this because it is so iconic for Spider-Man.

The sculpt is absolutely beautiful. For 50 points could get a pretty nice guy on alot of teams. All the super senses is gonna make this guy hard to land on.

Should play him with the No Prob Constantine and No Heal Elsa...

I don't feel like he's broken because he does limit the rest of his own team as well, not to mention that if he did stay out, that another 100 points that he can give to the opponent. Depending on what click he lands on, he could die quickly. But good and meta? Absolutely. What he should have is giving opposing characters to take peer actions to 3 so they can send him back to the sideline.

Timebreakers can teleport one of their own for Optimal beetlegeuse placement. And since the trigger for him to leave is at the end of your turn, it doesn't matter if he gets a bad roll. His presence might drive people to hunt for Despero and the Black panther legacy figure.

If I recall correctly, you can use free abilities even at the beginning of your turn, so unless I'm mistaken he can outwit an enemy, perplex himself up, and then take 1 unavoidable damage to become superman and then fly in and womp someone

The phone booth is really the only reason to buy this imo. If this was supposed to be the Max Fleischer Superman the sculpt is way wrong that is a sculpt I would love to have.

I've been on the fence with this set. AV60 have me some really great versions of these characters, except for the Loki, which was still a bit much to buy a whole set for. Then I got the new chase Loki and I'm feeling petty covered there too. I do like the figures though so I might at some point if I can find them for a good price or trade maybe. Oh and just call them what I've always called them since the Ant-Man and Wasp duo in Chaos War: Jank, a lovely portmanteau of their real names. Plus it's less syllables

The original Iron Man is my absolute favorite. I wish they gave him his attachable hammer he used against the Hulk in Avengers #2.

Aside from Loki, which do you think might be played the most?

If that 90 point version was 75 points she’d. Be perfect. I assume they did that because 75 would probably been way too strong.

BTU one IS Prob The most usefull since he gives Underworld Carry to allys..however he didn't do much after that.. And he dont have leadership or that was The BTAS one..?

I played the resource penguin a few times. He was fun. I guess I hadn't really looked at the notorious SR penguin, I might need to pick him up. Notorious was about when I got back into things. My friend hooked me up with a ton of stuff but he wasn't part of it

I have a rules question about the Hadari Yao that I was wondering if you could help me with? If I have her equipped with the "Mind Gem" and she targets 3 characters with "Mind Control," will she still do her 3 "Damage" to hit characters?

I've got 2 and 3, and I love them. I love bystander generators. I do wish I'd pulled the new SR. He's pretty sweet.

So many great versions of her. I haven't invested in the Hellfire Gala, so I don't have that craziness, but even the 4 and 5 spots are worth playing.

So looking forward to this. Maybe we will get some legacy cards that are actually worth getting.
