I realize that consistency with checking in with the planner and calendar is key. It doesn't matter how many times you change layouts, planner, etc. it won't work if you don't check in during the day. I struggle with consistency, Thank you for the video. Big help.

Absolutely true! You can just have a pen a small piece of paper as your planning system if you check on it several times per day. We should focus much more on how to make our plan/to do list the most visible instead of optimizing systems. I have to set myself reminders to always keep my planner open on my desk - otherwise i will forget😂 when its open and i have my tasks visible its no problem. Digital tools never worked for me. A simple paper planner or even a piece of paper was most effective - when i had it in my sight

    “I hope I spelled that right. I don’t know. I have an English degree. It’s fine. “. 😂😂 I’m dead.

This could be useful tip for your boyfriend - You can actually drag underlined text straight from anywhere to reminders or underline and use option share on iOS devices instead of manually adding reminder in. Then you can drag reminders to your apple calendar as well.

This was so great! I feel like I have a pretty good system in place and still I learned something from seeing another way! This is so much better than most productivity videos that are more app UI tutorials, not real world applications.

This was super useful. Putting the link to this is my notes app so that when people ask me to how to improve their systems I can send them here. 😊

I like this system that you did for your boyfriend. He was using the same tools I am using and you created a very simple way to use it. Thanks!

14:28 I love the notes app for gift ideas! Either someone will mention something or I think of something. I will start using reminders app as I’m now wanting to go digital at 48 🙄🤣🇨🇦

I love that you can lock them. I keep notes for gift ideas, other things I don’t want my kids to see, our garage code, etc.

What is a source of your planning passion ? Is this affection (or internal neccesity) to plan everything or rather method to deal with preciving self naturally less organized than others ?

Hey since you said to stop watching videos like yours (like a month ago) I stopped feeling as inclined to watch. Thought I’d share. I like your content though so I’m coming back around!
