It was two years in May. I have so many ideas. Gadgets I want to create I’m in the process of owning a 3-D printer and I want to create a Pannell that have different obstacles like a button an shirt screwing in a nail fastening a bra. Lacy, and tying shoes, putting hair in ponytail or braid the things. I mostly struggle with digging in a pocket with my left hand, putting on gloves, typing etc. right now I’m learning how to draw out my idea, so I’m watching videos on drawling reading. Your books is very motivating to keep going
Just want to say words of great Respect for Mr Greene. Reading laws of h nature right now. Magnificent book. Robert must be really happy man, to having fulfilled his life mission and making other people motivated for something really meaningful and true. Even if it was only one book, it would be already a complete personal victory and life achievement. Happily we have his other books as well. All the best to Mr Greene, wish him good health and good life ahead.
I flew from Miami to see Robert speak at this event and it was one of the best nights of my life. Please do more speaking events!!! Was such a privilege and a joy to be in the crowd!! Been reading Robert for literally 20 years, to see him speak in person was a dream come true!
A couple months ago I went to Barnes & Nobel and picked up both The 48 Laws and The Daily Stoic. I had no idea Ryan was actually Robert’s apprentice. Reading both of their work has great synergy.
I have been watching and read multiple books of your you are truly inspiring appreciate it very much 1 thing is that your books always takes references from the past i love that about you you show the how and where the scenario was taken from and how they executed it successfully.
I am new to Stoicism but I’m pretty sure that I finally found a greatest way to make a meaningful-life!! I have been starting about half a year and also I just turning 18yo, so I have a long way to go with Stoicism. Honestly, I just turned into adult that why I think am not ready to be a Stoic but I need more responsibilities and self-discipline to become a Stoic one day. I hope one day before I die, I’ll make myself a meaningful-life with a name as a Stoic.
I am grateful that you two took the time to do this event and share it with us. I will try my hardest to attend the next one, and Ryan I will be purchasing your book. Robert, I have all of your books. Thank you.
Thank you for all that you do Robert, your insight and knowledge is enthralling and fiercely penetrating. I started reading the 48 Laws of Power and the Daily Laws as a start and am so surprised that while I'm reading, your words convey such depth and simplicity in ways I couldn't express in words. Human nature is fascinating and everything within it, I was too very depressed and suicidal and with your books I'm able to gain perspective and expand my overall scope. So along with reading the Daily Stoic by Ryan, I am armed with words of wisdom and tools to guard myself and actively engage within this wonderful thing called life. Thank you.
Robert and Ryan dialogue on the power of focus and strategy is a masterclass for anyone striving to achieve greatness. Embracing discipline and the strategic 'no' are foundational to crafting a life of significance and success. 🔍
I hope I can see them both next time they are in California. I hope they come to the Riverside area in the future. I enjoyed how they interact with each other. Mutual repect. It is awesome!
Love Robert's words '...archeological dig...' to rediscover our lost childhood dreams + hopes + true pathways to fulfillment, from which many of us were pushed away from, by parents who had dysfunctional thinking/ power and control issues. Said with beautiful clarity Robert 🙏🌌
I never saw doctor that get that applaused and loved when someone come, he's like an actor! But he's the best so... Ryan Holiday greatest student! By recommendation of Dr Greene I got book ''Obstacle is the way'' ordered, so when I finish reading, we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll get full trilogy ;) (Way, Enemy, Key)
I just wanna comment on one tiny thing mentioned in this show. The host mentioned that Thomas Edison went down a blind path working on cement for about a decade. It is true Thomas Edison did have a cement business however, it was quite successful and improved cement unbelievably well and there’s even a large museum dedicated to this by the national Park system. Thomas Edison Portland cement Mill West Orange, New Jersey. If you’re in Construction , you would be particularly interested in learning about the innovations.
It really resinsted with me when Robert said sometimes we are too focused and have tunnel vision amd someone from the outside usually sees the answer. Well the answer for the host is to stop bring a McFahgot.

Robert is always a pleasure hearing you, so deep and healing. In the other hand the interviewer ( I don't know who he is I fell it does not get it. It's hard to say you have to pay a tax for being well,. this is not a good advice for people out there struggling with injustice. You should measure and think before talking.

I dont get that impression. I dont think Ryan was functioning as an interviewer firstly. I think they are co hosting, and Ryan is giving respect to his mentor by seeding him the upper hand where appropriate which probably gave you the impression he was interviewing. But it seems to be they are both expected to contribute. I believe you are mistaken as to the intended format
It was a pleasure to see Robert Greene speak. His ideas are fascinating to hear. Ryan talks too much and his ideas lack concrete points. Ryan is not one of the greatest thinkers. Maybe one day.
I think what Greene wrote in his book 48 seems just the opposite of what Marcus Aurelius wrote in his diary -Meditations. Greene’s strategy is to be vindictive, conniving, and to hit back by hook and crook. Can’t see anything stoic about his tips. Correct me, if I am mistaken.
I don't mean to denigrate but I simply don't get the fascination with Marcus aurelius. It's a diary bro.. and he 100% KNEW people are going to read it. Don't kid yourself
