The nighttime shots of you all working in the cold blowing snow trying to fix the skid-steer are powerful. You always work hard, but that shot highlighted the hard work you do and how determined you are to get it done.
I would’ve laughed for days had you turned the bobcat off a second time and then went to Travis and said “I did it again.” I love how you guys stay cool, calm, and collective in situations like that.
Ryan and family Happy Thanksgiving hope you have an awesome day. It's always nice to see things get done before Thanksgiving. Hope you had a great harvest season. 2020 is right around the corner and we get to start again
At first when you were towing the truck up the hill I thought that was regular speed! I then realized it was a time lapse, lol. New meaning to " get in, shut up and hang on" 😂🤣 😎👍 〽️
Hey Ryan we just bought a JCB Tele handler used from a rental company. I have to say all of your videos on the JCB you guys have had really weighed heavily on my decision to purchase it so thanks for all that! On another note you have to love your brothers personality. Some of his lines are so funny: the first thing he says after seeing that shooting star was “that was what killed the dinosaurs right “😂 happy Thanksgiving to you and your family bud
Thanks for sharing the video, great catch of the shooting star. If the battery hadn’t had problems probably would have missed it on camera. Glad to see the hay quality is turning out so good. Always been partial to the videos with both you and Travis. Wishing you and your family a great thanksgiving. Be safe and warm.
those eye brows are coming in nicely for winter. Time to buy my winter "How Farms Work" hoodie. That JCB is the bomb. You're getting your money's worth out of it.
Nice job getting that hay hauled despite the conditions. It's pretty wintry today up here in northern Wisconsin, and I, for one, am glad I don't have to run the snowplow or Bobcat with the wind we're getting. I'm surprised you didn't get the bale flip on camera. Happy Thanksgiving to the Kusters and all fans of How Farms Work and The Rest of the Story!
Great video Ryan, I really do hate electrical issues sometimes and they are a pain in the rear to deal with. I hope the rest of your harvest goes well and happy Thanksgiving!
Your JCB looks like it is doing a great job for you! Also I hope that we get a lot of snow this winter because my dad got a brand new Express Steel 8 foot snow pusher for his John Deere 5325 and I can't wait to try it out!
Northern Wisconsin got quite a bit, although it's not as much as I was expecting. Another snowstorm is coming later this week, as well. I'm glad I don't have to work again until December 9th!
Good job gents. Hunker down the best you can between chores,,, looks like you may get hammered right at Thanksgiving by blizzard conditions. Thanks for the video Ryan.
God, you guys work hard. I've been working as a delivery driver but right now I decided to take the day off because it snowed. I can't imagine doing what you do. Of course, I'm 66 and in horrible shape, but even so...
@@HowFarmsWork damn good demo..... congrats on the sponsorship. They are so versatile that when you do the math they can replace many tools on the farm and save many backs lol. Once you pay off the Rig you could use that cash to put toward a jcb or another Rig..... passive income is always nice when things get paid off. :)
Great catch on the meteor! I'm impressed with the JCB and especially that telescopic boom. I really like your channel, because of the different machinery that you get to test. If I had the budget for a new piece of equipment I would consider this. However a post pounded is on the list first. Don't you wish you can clone yourself, that way everything could get done?
A couple years ago my Brother and I had a similar Problem when we hauled bales to the cattle. We didn't have another tractor or truck with us that Time. In our luck someone came by and helped out. We finished the Work and when we wanted to leave I already forgot about the Problem and shut down again. 😅🙈 when I saw my Brother going crazy I immediatly remembered. He walked over, ready to kill my ass and I just wanted to get out of his way so I started the tractor again. We could Not believe. Since than we always keep an extra eye on the cables and contacts in Winter. 🤣
If you like that Jcb skid you should really try their tele-handlers. Things are an absolute beast and fast enough you don’t have to trailer it everywhere.
I don’t know if it’s a Oregon thing but we have that corrosion issue constantly. I always have a wire brush and sand paper handy! Battery cleaner is also key. Gotta keep it clean!
A loader tractor, with a quick hitch. ( One man operation,) no need for 2 skid loaders. Pickup & trailer either. I use Attach Matic brand quick hitch, made in Canada but.
I know that feeling all to well, Ryan! So frustrating to! My Nissan Murano car battery died on me completely, but was still able to jump it though! Same issue, but needed a totally new battery and clip!
I don't know how you guys deal with all the cold and snow. I couldn't work in those conditions. Of course where I farm it's only snowed once in my lifetime and only gets a few frosts in winter. Cheers from down under.
Good video, my GMC does not lock all the wheels unless you are in Lo Lo, Regular 4 wheel drive does not lock up all of the wheels according to my manual. I found out the hard way last winter. Thanks for the video's.
It would depend on how tight the bales are to some degree, but it would have to be pretty loose. On really solid bales sometimes I can only get the spear to go in half way.
There's another shooting star at 10:20 just above the tractors cab
christopher smith Whoa! Good spot!

Good to see that JD came equipped with "Ludicrous speed" tow gear.
Lmao i agree
I would’ve laughed for days had you turned the bobcat off a second time and then went to Travis and said “I did it again.” I love how you guys stay cool, calm, and collective in situations like that.
I've watched your channel for a long time now and rarely make comments. But, you make really good videos. Thanks...
Thanks for watching all this time!
Ryan and family Happy Thanksgiving hope you have an awesome day. It's always nice to see things get done before Thanksgiving. Hope you had a great harvest season. 2020 is right around the corner and we get to start again
Great video

Love the video Ryan and Travis , Don't stop the bobcat .
Travis nearly shit himself when you shouted wow lol
Working in a snow storm just makes things a lot more interesting! been there done that. Great video thanks.
Thanks for sharing guys..

Shooting star and dead battery. If only you had experienced a Sasquatch siting, you would have had the trifecta.
Since it was snowing, Maybe an Abominable Snow Man or Frosty the Snowman!!
Bob Crone or a demogorgon siting
Beautiful photography Ryan!
That JCB is sure the best
I was about three-years-old, sitting in a family friend's truck during sugar beet harvest, saw a shooting star. That was 50+ years ago.
God bless Travis !
Happy Thanksgiving Ryan and keep the videos come Ryan!😀😀😀😀
The stability of that JCB is amazing, That bale was sitting the length of the machine forward and high ,nor a rock or Bob from it🇬🇧❤️
Hello Everybody hope your having a great day. 👍
Well done on 250,000+ subscribers Ryan, Happy thanksgiving to you and all your family:):)

Great video Ryan, I really do hate electrical issues sometimes and they are a pain in the rear to deal with. I hope the rest of your harvest goes well and happy Thanksgiving!
Impressive!
Happy thanksgiving guys stay warm great videos

You have snow down south in Wisconsin except my place don't have any snow in central Wisconsin
Northern Wisconsin got quite a bit, although it's not as much as I was expecting. Another snowstorm is coming later this week, as well. I'm glad I don't have to work again until December 9th!
I'm in central WI and we got 6-7" last night into today
What?!!! You mean to tell us that farmers don't take off when it snows?!!!
=-))
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
One in a million on that shooting star Ryan coll video buddy. Carl
You read my mind about the jcb 😂😂
Someone call Kelloggs and tell them their frosted mini wheats are ready
Scope boom way to go Happy Thanksgiving to all your family be safe

How many hours have you put on that jcb demo?
About 100
@@HowFarmsWork damn good demo..... congrats on the sponsorship. They are so versatile that when you do the math they can replace many tools on the farm and save many backs lol. You will like that Tela skid when it comes time to load that khun manure spreader
Happy Thanksgiving to u ur family nd friends

The greatest things about the Teleskid are the telescoping boom, side entry and the heat/ac!

Great video Ryan and hi Travis lol. Nice shooting star lol happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
Nice... love seeing shooting stars...
Sounds like the skiddie battery just gave it up... time for a new one... Later! OL J R :)
I don’t know if it’s a Oregon thing but we have that corrosion issue constantly. I always have a wire brush and sand paper handy! Battery cleaner is also key. Gotta keep it clean!
Did your brother try 4x4 another good video
So did y’all buy the jcb
Everyone make a wish lol
On the top hinge of the back door on the bobcat there is a piece of metal that you slide up that will hold the door about straight open
A loader tractor, with a quick hitch. ( One man operation,) no need for 2 skid loaders. Pickup & trailer either. I use Attach Matic brand quick hitch, made in Canada but.
Cruising down the highway listening to Clint Black. 🕺🏿
Great video. Happy Thanksgiving
What size is the teleskid?
so whats the deal with the jcb r u gonna buy or return at end ?
Glad you could get out on the Tundra and get things done
Western burbs of St Louis here, heard the boom from that meteor passing over
The aliens 👽 did it 😂.
unloading from one side AWESOME wish I had that capability
How many hours are on the 76
Did y’all buy the jcb for is it just a demo still
That JCB looks to be pretty handy, I would have that over the bobcat anyday.
Hmm more lifting bobcat but jcb not so much
I know that feeling all to well, Ryan! So frustrating to! My Nissan Murano car battery died on me completely, but was still able to jump it though! Same issue, but needed a totally new battery and clip!
Hi Ryan did you guy's purchase the JCB or leasing it keep up with the videos. 👍
Jamming to Clint Black. I love it
How cold was it this time doing this?
When are you returning the teleskid?
Seen 1 in southeast iowa Was pretty cool
That 773 is a good machine we got one and its a live saver
Hope your whole family has a great Thanksgiving.
I don't know how you guys deal with all the cold and snow. I couldn't work in those conditions. Of course where I farm it's only snowed once in my lifetime and only gets a few frosts in winter. Cheers from down under.
If it isn't one thing or another , it's always something The hits just keep coming
Are your bales 6x6?
Next thing you guys need is a small bale wrapper
The meteor hit about 15 minutes from where I live. Last I heard, no one has found it yet
Did you end up buying the JCB teleskid or is your demo not over
I was going to ask about the JCB lol. I guess just keep using it until they come to get it.
Are those bale bigger than normal?
It will be what it is !
Did you guys buy the JCB tele skid
When the Bobcat died, I shouted CALL HANNAH, but you didn't hear me. She could have probably fixed it.
Happy Thanksgiving Kuster Farms.
The great white north!
Hi
Please get a hay spear...i cant take it lol
We own two, and prefer the pallets usually.
Good video, my GMC does not lock all the wheels unless you are in Lo Lo, Regular 4 wheel drive does not lock up all of the wheels according to my manual. I found out the hard way last winter. Thanks for the video's.
I had it in that, wasn’t sure why it wasn’t locking. Could be something wrong with the truck
What happened to your durmax? At the time you got stuck
How long did it take to move those bales?
Can you stab the pallet forks through the bale or does that just push the bale?
I love the videos
It would depend on how tight the bales are to some degree, but it would have to be pretty loose. On really solid bales sometimes I can only get the spear to go in half way.
How is your pet cow doing? You have not shown here in a while or any cows for that matter. Maybe you could do a cow update video. Thanks!
Can you scoop up that white stuff and take it to the grain elevator in Dubuque,Iowa..lol
fire in the sky
Great video. Did you buy the JCB or is it still on trial?
Still on sponsored demo
You should put led lights I in the bobcat
