The title reminds me of a burnout episode that happened to me last year. As I was walking to work, I noticed that everything in my surroundings had become grey. The sky was grey. The floor was grey. Even people's faces were grey. It was an agonizing experience living life like in a 50's french noir film. I wrote it in my journal as "a thick fog with no sign of it ending" and moved on. Fast forward to now, I'm seeing much more colour now and feeling much better than I once was. But I never had the opportunity to look back and change my thoughts about that journal entry. So, thank you for helping me do so and keeping my romantic self in check! And the music's cool too. Do more please.

To that one very particular, very specific itch. This album does that for me. This is my favorite kind of art in its purest form. It feels like the artist and I have both ripped open our chests and are kneeling on the floor bleeding into each other. As this artist pours out their soul into their work and lights it ablaze before the world, the deepest parts of my soul feel illuminated by its warmth. The whole album sounds like what it feels like to only ever smile for the benefit of others. It's like looking at someone else and seeing myself crucified in their eyes even though they think they're hiding it. It's finding bliss by leaning fully into torment. Understandable, I generally use major genres like rock/metal/hyperpop,
but sub genres are where it gets tedious(or even stupid) to me.
fuck that, i really like this project and what it tries to do but there's so much more good edm out there that can be discovered from this and the vibes the stuff produces could probably outmatch this (no offense to the creator, i thought this album was great but it's not the best from what i've heard before, also yeah i agree about the point of comparing it to other artist's work. doing that is hella condescending and seems like just writing-off the work of someone who enjoys their craft most of the time, especially to an up-and-coming artist. again great album)

This is my favorite kind of art in its purest form. It feels like the artist and I have both ripped open our chests and are kneeling on the floor bleeding into each other. As this artist pours out their soul into their work and lights it ablaze before the world, the deepest parts of my soul feel illuminated by its warmth. The whole album sounds like what it feels like to only ever smile for the benefit of others. It's like looking at someone else and seeing myself crucified in their eyes even though they think they're hiding it. It's finding bliss by leaning fully into torment.
This one's getting saved to the YT recommendation goldmine for sure!
