    Hi, did you stay at a hotel the night before the cruise? I’m considering a cruise with RCI from Cape Canaveral. I will be travelling from the UK so would need to fly the day before the cruise. Thanks in advance for any information

      Yes, Royal flew all of us in two days ahead of time and we had a big gala event at a hotel in Miami before boarding the cruise the next day.

    I see this show was posted a month ago, is that when yall went on your cruise? We noticed they were asking coVid & vAX questions.. is this still a thing on cruises?

      We just did this cruise in December and at that time they weren't COVID restrictions that I remember. Hope that helps.

    Thank you for this video! I’m going on my first cruise in January. In the video I hear you say something about getting a seat by the window and it’s the last thing you need to do before you can kick back. Are there seats we need to make a reservation for? Thank you!

      Yes, we go to the main dining room right away and talk to the host there to make sure we have a table for 2 and by the window, if possible. They can't guarantee it, but it doesn't hurt. Hope that help! Happy Cruising!

    Do returning guests or suite guests have a different checkin process?

    • @livingphase2
      @livingphase2  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, suite guests have priority boarding. If you mean back to back returning guests, I'm not sure, but I think they also have priority.

    I keep hearing about passports.. I’ve called and they said we don’t need it just birth certificate and photo ID. We don’t have passports so it’s making me worried.

      Obviously, always check with the cruise line, but if you're doing a closed loop cruise. In other words, leaving and returning to the same port and you are a US citizen. Then yes, normally you can travel with a birth certificate. When you check in for your cruise they will ask what document you are traveling with inverse certificate is an option.

      As long as the ship sails from the states and returns to the states you don’t need a passport but if you get injured or left behind by the ship for what ever reason you will need a passport to get out of what ever country you are in. So passports are highly recommended.

    Did they ask for your Vax card or did they just ask if you were vaxxed? I know they don't require it anymore so we weren't gonna bother bringing it. (I lost mine since has been so long and don't wanna have to bother getting another one if don't need it)

    • @livingphase2
      @livingphase2  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The last time we went, just a few weeks ago, we don't remember them asking for a vax cards at all. Just passports.
