What’s really weird is that the cops suck so much the game actually resorts to the cyberpunk approach of spawning police and I got jumped by police every time I was in 100 m away from a safe house. Undercover I understand but you can’t just spawn a heavy interceptor right in front of me without any sort of chance to evade it.
This has been my experience this far
The “shut the car off for faster cooldown” mechanic was a thing in Most Wanted 2012 and I think Heat as well. In that game (MW12), the screen would start flashing blue indicating a faster cooldown. Unbound doesn’t do this but instead limits the cops FOV as indicated by the smaller radar circle around them.
Ah I see makes sense, they still see in situations where they shouldn’t though. Apparently bushes are transparent to cops
There should be an option to turn off the police. It’s honestly just annoying. There’s too many of them.
Yeah, its so absurb they even showed up on circuit races 😂. Bad game design
@@danskyl7279 the worst part is when your just trying to get from point A to point B and every 3rd or 4th passing car is a cop. It’s like what are there 300 police officers patrolling the city?! They clearly spawn on your GPS route which is WAY too much. I do love the game though.
From 14:51 to 15:07 That has to be the funniest part of the whole video. So much bad luck with excellent comedic timing.

Just hide in certain spots there’s a bridge that has a 80% shot at getting away and a tunnels you can hide on the el train tracks as well you just gotta out drive em

If you hit a cop at speed you'll instantly take it out. Next time you're stuck behind one just get a good run up and you're home free. Also the thick trees are unbreakable. Here's hoping you start to recognize them.
Yeah. I prevented a lot of chases in this game by preemptively hitting cops when my heat level was 3+. Otherwise you can usually just speed by them
The funny thing is. He literally could’ve just sped by the cop and nothing would’ve happened considering he’s on Heat lvl 1. They take the longest to spot you on that level.
Im about to quit this game all together i wanted a racing game not grand theft auto like wtf im over all the mf cops
Yup, I just uninstalled. Finally ended a 6 min pursuit, opened the map to head to a SH with $38k, closed the map, and INSTANTLY was spotted by another cop.
8 minutes later, I lost all of it. NFS is just pathetic these days.
Just beat the game yesterday.
I gotta say, I really like it, I hope it gets plenty of updates

Tom if you're stuck behind jackass cops you can take them down without initiating pursuit if you ram them while going fast enough. You also get a free 3 bar burst nitrous for your trouble.
Well heck I wish someone in the game had told me that. I’m afraid of depleting the stupid healthbar
@@TheRacingJoker Yeah there's a lot they don't tell you in this game. The damage is literally negligible, just make sure you're really hauling ass or you'll end up doing like 80% of the cop's health bar and wind up in a chase. That's only happened to me like 3 times though.
Also, it's a pretty cheesy strat but if you don't want to deal with losing 5 heat cops or your HP is low you can quit to the menu and load back in. Your heat won't drop but you won't lose any money and you'll spawn at a gas station.
There’s also Damage Increase for the pursuit tech as an option. “Super” Damage Increase is overpowered as shit. So much so that you can battle the SWAT units with it. I’ve taken a few of those down with the Huracan Performanté thanks to it.

I would have quit the game.
NFS heat had way better charactelrs and story IMO. Yes the girl in heat is still kind of annoying only cuz she seems spoiled. But when I saw her freeze up when that officer took her car. I felt for her. It made me mad for her cuz I've seen this shit IRL. Cops abusing their power or dudes intimidating people for no reason. Need for speed just need better writers IMO. It has to have some emotional depth and purpose for its characters. Not just getting your car back or gaining rep/clout. It seems like every new need for speed game is a lil bit too inspired by 2005 most wanted simple story idea.
Payback seemed like a good step in the right direction but again no emotional substance. It was just a fast and furious rip off.
My issue with heat’s story is that we had a sudden time jump as it was getting good and then the game ended.
Also you should try to go for higher heat levels

You barely win any money in this game, im like 5 hours into it and it’s annoying to constantly lose races because everyone is too fast and the cops are annoying, ruins the fun in a racing game that has actually a great level design and graphics
Hence why I knew to cheat within my first 30 minutes of gameplay. Games made to be grindy aren’t enjoyable for me

I prefer Mostwanted cops. They’re an essential part of the gameplay. The cops in this game are just a nuisance. You aren’t encouraged to get into a pursuit, you’re just forced deal with them whilst you’re trying to make your way to the next race.
