It also feels useless because it lasts shorter than my fiancee's farts. I don't understand why it's so hard to just make another all-around amazing NFS game for fucks sake. They fucked up drifting, still can't get black hairstyles looking anything good, and not to mention I've been playing the game for a few hours in, and I still don't even understand how to "progress" any further or get any better cars/upgrades. I've barely made money, and still on the same car.
NFS Most Wanted '05 was such a masterpiece, and I'll never be able to live it down, lol.

I was so tired and frustrated 😂 I only have two hours of free time after work before I need to sleep. So the rage, tiredness and the fact it felt like I was wasting my time made me so mad 😂 I played it a couple days ago and had a much better time
So for beginners that would like to know there are a couple of racers that will match you in almost every race. For B class it’s the muscle car and the orange fairlady. A class will be the 350z mostly. A+ class will be the C8 vette, this is when I first started noticing how op the racers can be because I had the same car but they were still faster in acceleration. S class will be the 600lt and the Murcielago and for S+ class will always be the laferrari. Had to use the regera to keep up consistently 😂
The game is nice, but perhaps it be better if it was not so stingy with cash rewards.
Just leads to higher heats and spending more time evading cops than racing.
True, Most wanted was great, but I want to spend more time racing, and less time running from the cops.
It isn’t. You can race safely for a maximum gain of 1.5-2 heat and gain anywhere from 60 to over 100k with certain races and not do anymore that night
This is why I usually put these types of games difficulty on the easiest difficulty. Instead of making the AI smarter, they just do some unfair bs. I want a challenge, not feel I've been cheated out of a victory
I’d rather it just be the highest difficulty means the best performance parts or a more exotic high end roster
I was excited for this game until I found out there were no blower for muscle cars or scoops or whatever you call them
Not having a 3+ Liter Supercharger on a 7 liter V8 is heresy for anything too old to turn.
I hate how race games make muscle cars the worst cars ever to drive to this day
@@gos994 Yeah, they make it clear they've never driven cars at their lower limits. Heavy does t necessarily mean you can't turn or brake, just need more effort to do so. The 3rd Generation Trans Am is only around 3100lbs on a full tank of gas, 4th being just under 3500lbs. Put some love into the suspension and brakes of both with maybe a little basic weight reduction and you have some fearsome competitors. Hell these days the Eurotrash are boats getting their Hass handed to them on corners and straights by the Mustang and Cammaro. I'd be way more scared of a ZL1 than an M3 on my home course, even the V6 Cammaro can keep up with my 86 on the tighter tracks.
The bug catcher (hood scoop from the 70 charger in the 1st F&F movie) should be in the game. It's in Carbon and Undercover but not Unbound.

I think this may be my favourite NFS yet (removing the nostalgia glasses when I look at NFSU2), but theres definitely a few quibbles. Think the biggest one is cops in free roam at high heat levels - at the earlier stages of the game when you're booting about with low level rides, its a decent way of keeping you in check and presenting a nice risk balance, but once you get the faster cars, the cops just become a nuisance. You'll be trying to get to another a race but slowed down by having to evade real quick several police and a helicopter, just gets annoying 😭
For me it's the undercover cops seeing you at a faster rate and lacking hood customizations for tuners and muscle cars
They’ve had this rubber banding issue in heat too! Basically if you aren’t in first from the jump of the race you might as well restart because the rubbernecking keeps them in front. If you in the front just focus on no crashing and you win. Edit: I subbed man cause you’re one funny dude! 😂👌🏽
I struggled a lot in Heat for whatever reason, I mean I had a really bad 3rd party 360 controller at one point which made steering real twitchy. Not to mention my pc at home can’t run these games at 60 fps for no reason since 2015 is still the best looking one
Also if you push one of the "good" drivers to the back, the rubberband locks them behind
i dont think it was that bad in heat, i mean if u drive decently enough you can still catch up to them, i basically beat the game with only one car, the rsr, and i could keep grinding it, meanwhile in unbound, the AI especially on straight is fckin mad, it like their car have unlimited rocket booster, one time i was following the AI closely, it was a straight with no corners, no cars, no cops to get the boost gauge that filled up with stunts, the AI suddenly have a lvl 3 boost out of nowhere
In essence, the most annoying AI racers are Justicia (Early Game), Harlow, Obi (Early Game), Boost, Chase, Lyric and Shimizu.
Shimizu is the literal worst of all the AI, if he gets in front and into first, good luck catching up to him. I had previously rammed him off the road purposefully just to experiment and he managed to go from 8th place to 3rd in less than 30 seconds and that is no exaggeration. It's as if unless you have a Car fully upgraded or a Regera or similar, you *CANNOT* beat Shimizu unless you specifically play dirty against him.

Obi, Waru, Harlow and Lyric are the one that mostly get broken by rubberbanding.

One time an ai rubberbanded so fast up to me, when I looked back he went FLYING off the track when he took the corner, and crashed again. It's so funny, yet very game-breaking and wack. Doesn't matter how much you out-manuever the ai, they just zoom back up, only to crash out again.
They don’t crash out for me, they just pass me and disappear into the distance

It’s the first and only road going M3 to have an N/A V8 and is the first M3 with a DCT
You won’t get the C6 Z06 until after the next qualifier event because it’s an S class car for some reason. However, if you do want the LS7 engine, I know the Camaro Z28 uses it aswell and that’s an A+ car

@@TheRacingJoker Just wanted to know cause I haven't seen many accurate kits the 2M autoworks kit isn't bad at all but it's not quite as wide as the actual M3 GTR obviously it's possible to get an M3 gt2 kit but it's not as good looking so I was wondering cause I've been wanting to make 1 for a while now
I did try looking into and didn't find much and eventually gave up I don't have any connections

What insane is, I literally felt like I couldnt see where I was going. Then I recently tried the follow camera the sits above the car and that made all the difference. I guess my car was blocking my vision? Idk it was weird

I thought it was just me, I play NFS Unbound on a wheel and sometimes the cars wouldn't turn at all but sometimes its turning without me controlling it.

Watching this video due to how annoying this game is for rubbber banding and the police taking you out while trying to race. But the handling is so unpredictable and the car easily gets totaled and barrel rolls almost all the time.
I do wish there was a reset button as theres been times ive come off the road and it doesn't reset me
how do you have 23 million at the start of the game? it's really difficult to keep and hold 1 million even at end game.

Played 20 hours.... ALT+F4 -> uninstall I really didn't have the nerve for this anymore.
The fastest car of all racers, you stomp on the gas and you won't overtake them with nitrogen.
The car is perfectly controllable throughout the game and you just start the race and the car will do whatever it wants.
You get into the lead with a 700m lead, you just lick a little person, doesn't the guy suddenly rush in with a 100m lead?
The first few hours were fine, but now I let it go with absolute disgust and disgust.
1) Either you step on the gas and you won't catch up.
2) You get into the lead with a head start, where the AI waits for the given moment when you make a mistake and finish and you can restart the race.
3) Either the races are hard as a pig or you make it to the finish line without guts.
4) you drive around the city and you have full control of the car. You start a race and the car starts to behave completely differently. You know how much to brake, how much to add gas to the drift, but suddenly it doesn't work.
5) You use race restarts more and race the police rather than winning campaign races.
The Heat weren't the best either, but I certainly wasn't as cranky with them as I was with this one.
In fact, I'm already absolutely nervous about this game, and the person who finishes it should see a psychiatrist

Idk I love the vehicle choices and the aesthetics hate the rubberbanding and story it's basically payback but worse and we can't edit our setups during the day it will just end it and we are done for the day
I think honestly my biggest gripe is the poor optimisation, it’s got a great aesthetic but realistically it shouldn’t be so graphically demanding. Especially since Payback and 2015 look better/the same and run amazingly.
I just bought this game and I'm at the point of wanting to get a refund, I'll get 2nd one race and restart then the ai gets some speed boost out of nowhere and I get an even worse place. Fuck em

I can't remember my heat but cop chases in Heat is easier. Just jump a ramp with water under it. Easy. Now with unbound you need skill to evade. I make them crash into other cars and do high jumps.

It’s only on easy if you’re playing on easy. Try getting away from a pursuit on hard, with only 60% health, 4 restarts (because that’s what you start with on that difficulty), in a Heat 5 pursuit with half the state’s worth of cop cars, cop SUVs and that one occasional Raptor, chasing after you along with 2 helicopters.
Have fun with that. Until you’ve gotten away from several of those in one night without getting busted, you have no idea how hard this game can actually be. Easy isn’t the word.

I could have taken my score to 2 mill but I got bored 🤷 if you know how to play the game right you excell crazy fast!! My cars are always way to fast for the story missions. Its like cod zombies, round 30+, you get freakin bored!!!
You are letting your boosts (the yellow bar) go to waste... that's your main problem.

1:47 Hey man, I have been watching your videos for a long time and I really enjoy your contents. Here i see your fps is dropping massively which is a huge downside. You can fix your FPS by completely reinstalling the windows, then apply the tweaks, remove bloatwares and disable unnecessary background services. And trust me it works. I have been using windows this way for a long time and even my 1650ti can run this game at high settings in 70fps, in ultra it runs at 45fps or sth but playable. I am giving you a link to where you can apply tweaks I mentioned above and I hope this helps. Keep up with the great work man :D

The voice work gets more and more cringe every release. EA assumes that the only demographic that buys these games are 15-20 year old zoomers. It offers nothing for those of us who have been with the series since it was called road and track presents. Most wanted 05 was the peak of the series and they keep trying to recreate it while forgetting what made it great. OMG the zoomers in this game is beyond cringe. Sorry I know this is a long post but someone needs to point this crap out.
I’ve played on intense and I haven’t noticed any rubber-banding when I played. If I ever got overtaken by the computer, it was because they’re car was just better cause I was intentionally using a slower one or I made a mistake taking a corner too slowly.
Drive the regera if you need better car

The game was good but like every other NFS game once you finish the story there is nothing to do. Matter of fact it feels dead after you beat the main story.
I’m not surprised. Mostwanted had the rap sheet and the challenge series as endgame content and that was great!
I still have fun post story. I'm a 90s baby. There was no "updates". Just play what the cartridge or CD gave you.
Not gonna lie, the rubberbanding crap in the game irritates me to the point where I just get off. It’s one thing if it’s me and I’m lagging but the fact it interferes with other people is insanity.
I’ve seen people smack cars and send them flying then they rubberband forward and everyone else is left hitting those cars that apparently never got hit on their screen.
It’s between that or nearly passing someone and they rubberband to you, stop or slow you and then rubberband forward like nothing. Kind of ruins the game for me.
Heat was significantly better, I’ll die on this hill.

You might be around my age (29) but I dropped my balls and put it on "Relaxed" the 2nd half of the story and it's much better. Imo:
Relaxed = Normal
Challenging = Hard
Intense = WTF
Im very good at NFS games... but Unbound, fuck this game dude. I play on Easy and these AI rubberbanding making me restart at least 5 times per race until i run out of retries.... such bullshit i never seen before since most wanted remake.
@@sparda9060 I'm with you and understand. I've never had to toy around with my cars so much to get them right but finally got it. For example, I made the hellcat but can only do well on speed races and in the city
@@sambeezy007 I Usually play most NFS games on expert or normal. Unbound is the only one I played on easy and it doesn't even make a difference between 3 options as AI rubberband is insane. Its very hard to tune your car for other than road racing because its too expensive in the beginning with barely any money and saving for their final weekend buyin race.
I guess ima have to first get past the first 2 weeks before I have enough money to spend on offroad/drift races. I usually skip those as my car is not tuned for it.
@@sparda9060 Yeah. Post story is the best part to me (groundhog day). For a tip, in each class I get a car that rivals the car that's usually in 1st place all the time. My choices example:
B Class: RX-7
A Class: RX-8 or Mustang Boss
A+ Class: 69 Charger or Camaro (Modern)
S Class: Lotus Elise (Lakeslide), Porsche GT2 RS (Speed Races and Corner) or Nissan GT
S+ Class: Ferrari Lafarrari or a McLaren
Post story I stopped doing drift races and takeovers. I just like to do traditional races. Might go back to drifts and takeovers for the bets. I'll make it barely an S+ tier to get the max bet for takeovers because it isn't really a race and all on your skill.
@sparda9060 Update: Went back to playing Heat and keeping it that way. Enjoy that and Payback more.
Rubberband is annoying in game, (specially NFS/ Horizon), can´t tell about Unbound since i´m not playing but by the looks of it, is Earl and JV togehter as one huge rubberband lol.
When it comes to rubber banding. Just avoid the race called "Lakeside" unless you go "Head to Head".
Asap rocky is the worst. Beep beep at 4000 odd miles an hour.

@@TheRacingJoker well, if you don’t make to much of mistake and manage your nitro well, rubberband is not a issue, it only actives when you are slower than criterion in a section or ram into a traffic
I actually like rubberband that always keep behind me to make some competition, if you don’t want rubberband, play the crew 2 and you’ll see why ai needs rubberband
There are lots of TH-camrs can deal with the intense difficulty, as everyone can see them, if you feel stressed about the races, just lower the difficulty or practice more

You must have a perfect run and even then you will only beat them by barely a few sec and they still right on your ass. Any mess up you might as well restart, even on easiest mode you must do a perfect run. The AI keeps going even if you crash or make 1 small mistake like brake too much on 1 turn they never slow down unless a cop car hits them. rubberband they suppose to slow down when you make 1 mistake at least, not this game, they keep fucking zooming and zooming far ahead. There something fucked up with the AI script for this game, never this bad in NFS game before.
@@sparda9060 you know sometimes you think you did a “perfect run” but the reality is you didn’t. I have beaten every racing game I have played on the hardest mode and when I look at the wr run, I can easily find tons of places still can be improved in my run. Racing is not a thing that you can easily find the “perfect” way to do. I definitely recommend you to watch some of the fastest racer racing, I’m not saying you must be close to that fast to be any good but really understand how the game’s physics and mechanics really works.
