As the saying goes at the carnival no sleep till (insert last spot of the year here) it pretty much meant you were putting off proper rest till the end of the season to have personal time after a 8-16 hour day of work
So they changed the name to make sure we weren't given the ending. The idiot hunter was a Yautja and I guess they added venomous tendrils to its head instead of just gold adorned tendrils and a breather mask. He also had his gun holstered instead of mounted on his shoulder. Funny how he didn't mentioned the xenomorphs himself, but instead he described the Thing as being the scariest species. Considering we humans dealt with BOTH and our species was the last standing, I can see how we'd get the scariest award. Especially if we get specced out the wazoo with body enhancements. FAFO indeed.
I do not know either but some AI stories are good enough that with human editing they can become really good. Without editing they tend ti be annoyingly repetitive at times.

Keep in mind, not ONLY did we beat these things, but we beat these things with UNTRAINED, NON-MILITARY UNITS IN EXTREME ISOLATION!! Alien is taken down by some space-truckers with a futuristic forklift and tools to eradicate bug infestations (flamethrower). The Thing is taken down by a group of scientists using de-icing equipment and cooking supplies (flamethrower again and methane). Legitimately, Predator being taken out by a beat cop is less impressive. At least that guy was in familiar territory and was trained to use a firearm.
This guy has a good reading voice. Almost as good as james earl jones. I wonder if he auditioned for this gig or if he will for national publisher audiobooks or even animation voice overs.
I forgot what story it was, but i remember listening to one where the coalition of planets that were gonna invite humanity as the next member of their government. This coalition would send shapeshiters to talk it out first to ease tensions. They found out about the "Uncanny Valley" and that looking and talking human was just having an opposite effect on humans, and that being their regular "horrifying" form was actually better. It had a happy ending as the shapeshiters could finally be "in their own skin" and not have people look at them with horror. With humans, it was acceptance and some intrigue
We can take on those other scary things too. Especially with the enhancements. I'm making it my head canon that we were created by the Universe's creator to subdue and have in subjection this planet and all the life on it - something I believe anyway. It wasn't a deathworld at the time, but the fact that we've gone way beyond that mission to the point of nearly ruining the planet, both after falling from grace and apparently becoming weaker, and after the world was made a deathworld SPECIFICALLY as punishment... Ain't nothing gonna be THAT much of a challenge. If it's after the Millennial Reign, we'd be perfect again, and God will be respawning folks like that woman's husband and kids. HFY idea: We were created specifically to bring order to the civilizations of the Universe. The "... And they will learn war no more." thing only applies to war against eachother.
The human should have mentioned that they have encountered the xenomorphs and the thing on their home world even before they achieved spaceflight. Just to see the other three squirm. Maybe also mention that they found out that the xenomorphs were created to kill humans.
