God, i love this universe. I hope this continues, would love to see a whole story made, the level of detail and attention to small things like different units, their weapons, different types of ships instead of just "Battleship" like other hfy stories have is amazing to see here
Seriously, I'm actually getting attached to these characters, too. I love the language additions that don't get magically translated to english. Proper immersive writing
The last one with Himmil firing grenades off, I could hear that 40mm launcher sound so clearly each time, and throwing amazing curse laden insults out each time had me cracking up. Hippity Ho F#!@boys! The level of detail is truly great. It actually feels like legit book form scifi. I would read this. And I want a show of it now. No, I need one. Like the expanse. I like the idea of the order becoming less of an order, and more of a statement. It's not more an order to actually affix bayonets, but more of a statement that, "They are coming, and our last resort is to fight in melee. If we fail here, we die, and this is the last stand for our unit."
Not necessarily. Check Bulgarian military history from the late 19th, early 20th century. A bayonet charge is a devastating psychological weapon even when attacking.

Another reason is because a melee is both chaotic even if disciplined fighters are in both parties as well has having a very high mortality rate compared to normal gun related combat. The commanding officer has resigned to a combat strategy that pretty much guarantees an at least 40% mortality rate amongst his soldiers. Meaning at that point the CO *EXPECTS* to lose at least 40% of his/her men.

The idea of a group of aliens, from a culture that has looooong since discarded faith in favor of science, finding new faith in the religions of Earth is honestly a refreshing concept. Sci-fi aliens are either A: Above "primitive" ideas of religion and refuse any part of Human beliefs, or B: Already have their own faith and don't have any interest in Human faith. I've said this before, but the writer behind this universe clearly puts a ton of effort into thinking these things through (Between bouts of being horni for space-dragons lol).
Mac and Cheese is a cheap, easy to make dish. Few Americans will call it the best comfort food though as it really is ment to compliment other comfort foods. Goes well with hot dogs when you are in a rush and need a quick and easy meal that, though not the most nutricious, will at least get you by for that meal while still tasting good. Just had to add that when I was in college we would use our irons to toast our to-go sandwiches when we were not able to sit down in the dining hall to eat. We kept being told that it was a fire hazzard but worst thing that ever happened was one guy burning som cheese that dripped on his iron somehow, making a bad smell by his room.

I forgot which story but she was teaching a class about human anatomy n in between there were scenes of her fighting off a handsome rough blonde soldier. They apparently did things the night before and he wanted more before she went to work lol
Because it's awesome. We have friends who are technologically advanced and have helped us, and we took them and taught them how to truly fight. And they stepped up big. Frairen is kicking ass hard while still managing to be herself. She has learned how to do what humans do, use the adrenaline, fear, anger to fuel the combat frenzy, and how to turn it off when done. How black humor is the pressure valve to the horrors of war. How the bond between soldiers who truly fight, protect, and die together is stronger than any other. The unlikely group of multi-species friends is so awesome to get more stories about. Especially Himmal going hard with human phrases like suck balls, my nuts are on the ceiling etc
I so enjoyed how the jorpal turned to the Cross as she lay dying, and at that moment, reinforcements arrived with thunder. This was such an immersive and touching moment.
This was great thanks guys for the wonderful story today, and with multiple voice actors no less, i love hearing stories of this specific universe so quite the treat with multiple voice actors.

I love these characters. It took me a moment to realize it. Is the narrator doing the really gruff male voices? It didn't initially occur to me because it sounds so natural, I thought they had a second narrator for those parts. If she is doing those voices, I'm even more impressed than I already was. That was a SOLID Bladerunner reference in there. One ofbthe greatest monologues of cinema history. Just waiting for the battle of Tanhauser now. Lol. Man these stories are awesome. I think I may have fallen in love with Frairen. She's just so good. A badass in the field, has that cute flirtatious, yet demure personality, extremely smart and quick to learn. Fierce determination. Well written characters all of them. Its fun how humans being so inclusive has rubbed off on all of them and they've sort of adopted human ways just by being around us. The bonding humans do through shared experience is powerful. And the loyalty gives to friends even more so. We don't even really have allies, we make friends. Friends we would gladly protect with our own lives.
This is a great series. I love how each one can be its own story in and of it self but flow well together. I hope there will be a long form video where all of the stories of this series are played in chronological order.
I think Hollywood is looking in the wrong direction for writers! This series is new and exciting not a rehash of another story. I can totally see this animated. If they did it live action it would be either terrible or awesome with a very high budget

I think Hollywood is looking in the wrong direction for writers! This series is new and exciting not a rehash of another story. I can totally see this animated. If they did it live action it would be either terrible or awesome with a very high budget
