It's also a song about violently suppressing legal free speech that you don't agree with. Cussing out a cop and burning the flag are legal protected activities and no one should have their speech suppressed with threats of violence.
I don't agree with burning the flag, I'll stand up and protect a person's right to do so. Free Speech includes legal speech and activities I don't agree with.

I was born, raised, and still live in a small town in Alabama. Jason is speaking to ANYONE, regardless of skin color, who might think they can bring violence, destruction, chaos, and disrespect to our communities. My small town is integrated, as most are around here, and we WILL stand hand in hand, - white, black, yellow, and red, - and we WILL take care of our own. And we will NEVER relinquish our second amendment rights. Those people calling this racist sure have some mighty racists beliefs of their own.

I’m a small town, country woman…around here we seldom lock our doors at night, worry about getting robbed or attacked for any reason. We know our neighbors and their families, what dog or cat or cow or horse belongs to whom, and we all watch out for each other while still minding our own business. I feel this song embodies that feeling. Crime is dealt with swiftly, and people who cause too much problem usually are well known and avoided. I’m not saying we are insular or prejudiced, just that we look after each other. I see nothing biased in this song at all. I appreciate your reaction that racism has no place in this world. It’s a good feeling when you know your neighbors have your back. Love from the wilds of western Pennsylvania!

In 2017 Jason held a concert for the Harvest Musical Festival in Vegas. While he was preforming, a lone gunman shot over 1000 rounds into the crowd of Jason's concert. He killed 60 people and injured over 400. Due to the panic there were another 800+ people injured. The incident is the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman in American history. Jason takes these violent protests and riots very seriously. This is not a song about race or an attempt to keep us divided. This is a song reminding all of us that we are brothers and sisters, friends, neighbors, coworkers, business owners, etc. and we should always have each other backs. We are all connected in some way and we should take care of our own. I love this song.

We all speak often and are always ready to lend a hand with home or yard improvements or car or truck repairs. I dare say that if anyone brought trouble to our little corner of the world we would take care of one another... without thought of race, religion. gender, age or beliefs. That is how it should be. Aussie here, and thank God that someone has taken the lead in trying to save what was once a Great Country, sadly going under due to the corruption of government and the 'woke' brigade who think they have the right to tell us what to think and say. You are a bit behind the times mate, defendant Trump's corrupt government was kicked out ages ago and now he has been indicted several times and will soon be found guilty and sent to prison for his numerous crimes. Oh and you clearly have no idea what woke means either, or perhaps you do and are just comfortable being racist etc.
As for "telling us what to think and say" you do know that the political-right in America has been banning books, as well as the right to terminate a pregnancy, even if it involves rape, incest or paedophilia?.....They have also brought in several measures to make it as hard as possible for the average American to vote, as well as trying to overturn a fairly elected government, too.
And do you reckon the politically right-wing Jason Aldean will ever condemn defendant Trump over his numerous crimes and his fellow insurrectionists over Jan 6, or does he only speak the "honest truth" as and when it suits him to do so?

As a white man, if anyone in my community find themselves in trouble as described by this video, whether they are white, black, brown, red or green, you can put your life savings on everyone from my county showing up to put an end to it. Forget town. This entire county will meet you on the street.

It was Joey across the street and Michael next door. My bedroom was scattered with broken glass and Venetian blinds. They got the window covered. Had to get whole back of house and garage resided. Been waiting for you to react to this, and your reaction was just what I hoped for- and you are right....nothing racist here. You know, if a person hears a song about violent crime that neither mentions nor shows black people, but he/she immediately assumes that song and video is about black people being criminals, then THAT PERSON is the racist.

I am from a city. Los Angeles to be exact. I do not see anything racist here. I have lived in small towns and they do look afterward one and other so much more than a city. I do miss the small town living. Thank you Craig for the reaction!!

I’m a citizen of the town this video was shot. I worked a block away from that courthouse. Jason Aldean is correct. We are a richly diverse community that comes together to celebrate often, and we will also come together to help our neighbors. When you harm a member/establishment of this community you hurt the community as a whole. We don’t allow such nonsense. Societal decorum will be maintained otherwise people will intervene. These are our family and friends homes and businesses. Keep cognizant of that. You may think you’re just destroying a shop, but we know that the owner is Mr. Rick, a kind widowed gentleman who has helped and supported the community for decades. We respect our town and , if you want to try that nonsense here, consequences will be reaped.

Columbia is a beautiful town, I did landscaping at two historical buildings there one downtown. One had a huge fountain and a courtyard and statues the other was a big farm called the peacock. Amazing! The black people in Columbia didn't seem "oppressed" at all but I was by their loud car speakers lol. People don't know what the hell they're talking about!!! And I'm from up north!!!

Hi from Indiana :) This song is FIRE and no one can cancel Jason Aldean..... Now that the "Silent Majority" a.k.a. us Conservatives have finally stopped being quiet stuff is starting to change...... This song went mega viral, the movie Sound of Freedom went mega viral, Bud Light has been destroyed and Disney is losing masses amount of money. The Patriots in the USA are tired of it and have had enough!!!!!!!!!
