Once again a terrific version of a terrific story, I’m telling you now I would gladly pay for all of your Roberty Howard stuff in one audiobook version. It would be well worth any amount of money to have these stories done the way you guys do them and you do such justice and are so true to the stories they’re terrific. Once again you guys need to think about putting it all together 11 audible book and I would definitely be a guy who would purchase it.
We are adding our stories to audible one at a time atm. Once we've done a complete book we'll compile them as 1 audible purchase (I think they're going to be released on itunes too)
I love how REH was fearless of how conan could be portrayed in his stories. As much as I love the conan this story was harrowing because he honestly seemed like a monster because of the spell
we put that on everything as we do stories from a hundred years ago and it may be considered culturally insensitive or something, just saves critisism n arguements when we can just say 'we did warn you'
Very well done readings. The sound effects really bring the story to life. I'm sure this story influenced Game of Thrones. Thank you for your unadulterated readings of Howard's words, we do need to be aware of how society's prejudices have changed for the better.
Listening to this story. The song 'No Quarter' kept playing in my mind; mix with this was that Frazetta cover of this story, breathing with motion like a harsh wind blowing imagined in my head when hearing the introduction of the giants and the fight between them and Conan following suit.
Such time and glorious effort put into this epic story.. to hear the placation that was the disclaimer drove nails into my ears. A sad world that such catering must be created...
According to the film, Crush your enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of their women But according to the originals, it's not specified, though it should be something along the lines of, To march into the new lands beyond the horizon, to have the strength to slay your enemies, and to celebrate with good commrades, fine women and strong drink, haha.
@@TheCybrarian I just discovered this channel. I love your work. Keep it up. Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of SJW's.
We hope you all enjoy our work.
Your work is highly appreciated.
We do indeed.
Absolutely!
Fantastic!
Great stuff! Keeping my fingers crossed for you doing Red Nails
I am a tractor trailer driver and I listen to your videos for many many miles...
Sounds great, wanted to be a trucker as a kid, but European roads are too short or whindy. Enjoy.
Nice
At the age of 16, this was my first Conan tale. I am now 52 and it remains a favorite.
think conan isn't far off 16/17 in his first story, tower of the elephant
Shaz's voice is every hyborian woman's exotic speach I've ever imagined the past 56 years...fantastic
Amazing how this puts the actual official audiobooks of the Conan stories to shame,

Awesome work as always
Thank you so much 😀
By Crom, this was fantastic.

absolutley, like the Greek sirens driving folk mad and luring people to their death...but they never met Conan, haha
@@TheCybrarian haha he totally would swim all the way to the sirens after crashing a ship
@@Wolf-bz6kq think he nearly does at the start of 'Devil in Iron'

I've listen to your renditions of conan and kull many times over
Getting better with every version Well done!
Thank you
In this story Howard talent is as undeniable as Conan's lust.
Thanks for a wonderful tale!
An absolute classic, brilliantly declaimed!
Amazing reading, thank you for sharing this!
That was Awesome!! Well done people need to hear this!
This is a very nice offering. Great job.
This is amazing! I don't know how this doesn't have more views
Absolutely top shelf. I’m totally confused about your warning of offensive language, but thrilled that you refuse to edit the text.

Very well done interpretation of this story. Very well done.
Pure pleasure, thank you.

Great rework friend love the female voice...again justice done for a great story
THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING!!

Ba’al’s Blue Fire! Simply outstanding 👏🤓
Excellent disclaimer, excellent voice work - much appreciated.
Respect is earned.
Loved your Scandinavian accent lol
This one was really good
Ah yes!! Thank you sir!!
I ran across a early version of this story in a used book store. Originally it was not a Conan story. The hero had another name.
yes, there are pre drafts of some of the sstories, just like Kull was a precursor to Conan.
Damn with this much disclaminer this story better be awesomw
"Are we all dead or in Valhalla?"
we might just have a concussion, these are philosophical questions, haha
I think we can Pretty much all agree that Conan would've excelled and Dominated as a Viking Chief. Wouldn't you Think?
totally, but i'm sure his wandering foot may have wanted to take them further than they might want to go
Wonderful. Love the voices. This story is super edgy for today's standards.
Yeah, we have extended the disclaimer just in case.
I like
Don't apologize that Conan isn't woke.
Love your channel, but the "SJWs Beware!" disclaimer is laughable.
It was cancer.

Better safe than sorry

The SJW disclaimer is laughable. But good vid nonetheless.
that disclaimer stops SJWs from complaining at us because they can't say they weren't warned

Crom casts them out of Valhalla and laughs at them, for the know not the riddle of steel.
Screw inclusion and woke mea culpas
Would give anything to hear Robert E Howard’s take on that fruity little intro at the beginning
