Not only did I have mood swings it made me cry a lot, gain 25 pounds and get horrible debilitating cramps all over my body. I am type two so my doctor took me off of insulin and put me on more oral medication and the side effects all went away. Best wishes to your mom.

Thanks for sharing with us,..i was just wondering my mom,changes mood everytime we inject her insulin eesh i was irritated but now i understand...

Would you mind addressing the rare side effects of debilitating muscle cramps after injecting insulin?
I have notised that too less salt or poor hydrate make those kramps. Usuly is that havent drink enought water.
