OK, so there might not actually be any records broken here, but we check out all 10 of Mooer’s Micro Preamp pedal range running through the, rather loud, Baby Bomb 30 Power Amp. - เพลง

005 is a beast!
Conceptually, the Baby Bomb 30 & really any pedal amp is the ideal head/cab amp setup for me. I like Orange's idea of integrating an FX loop into their Terror Stamp. I went with the VHT Redline Micro 6 & Redline V-Four preamp. The 6W price range is the most I could afford. Takes a sub $ 100 practice amp combo modded to be used as a passive cabinet to another level. I use the combo as it was intended, but also have the option of using a preamp pedal & pedal amp with the 1x8 open back cab that it is.
Outstanding video, gentlemen! Best demo of these pedals, by far, and that includes Mooer's own (brief) videos they posted. I bought the 010 Two Stones, and am pretty happy with it. However, you'll notice that several of the clean channels stay completely clean in an almost "solid-state" undesirable way. Fortunately, the drive channel has quite a bit of range to it and it sounds great direct.
Also looking at the 002 "Marshall"-inspired one (which sounded great in your demo), and the 007 based off the Tone King Falcon, which surprised me by having some bluesy grit to it in your demo, even on the "clean" channel. Thanks!

I just got the 002 UK Gold.
It's gold, man! With a Baby Bomb and, if you need it, a decent IR loader that'd be a great lightweight and/or DI solution. You get to use all your pedals, without having to lug a heavy amp. A decent 112 cab, pedalboard, with the Mooer(s) and ofc, your guitar, and it'd work well.
That 002 takes pedals like a beast, I've been DI-ing with it and an IR loader (NU>X Solid Studio) and it's the best DI tone I've ever managed to achieve.
Gotta get a Baby Bomb now so I can use my cab as an onstage monitor (or as a "second amp", effectively running wet/dry, with the Baby Bomb feeding a dry signal to the cab, all the time-based effects going through the IR to the PA)
I have a UK Gold 002 running into the VERY LOUD Baby Bomb into a 12 inch Sheffield speaker cab and it sounds divine . It really has a similar feel to the Marshall JCM900 and massive balls to go with it .
Liked the Blacknight and Two Stones best- seemed to have the most 'tone' as opposed to simply cranking saturation. Cali 3 sounded good for that and ale liked the Diezel.
There's a heavy compressor on the audio or the baby bomb ducks like crazy on the palm mutes.
i just giged with the 004 and everybody was blown away (other bands, sound guy, audience...and myself)....!! Great demo tho !
I want to see a ridiculously huge Mooer pedal board, all 10 micro preamps, a micro looper, a mini drummer in the fx loop of the Mooer RedTruck and might as well add a couple of your mini rocker pedals wah, volume, phaser and then run the stereo outputs into 2 Baby Bombs and 2 small cabinets like the Orange PPC108 or Vox BC108 8" speaker cabinets \m/ maybe powered by 2 Mooer power bank S10 rechargeable 10 outlet power supplies, lol
you could get more ridiculous and run the 10 micro preamps into a RJM Effects Gizmo and control it via a RJM Mastermind LT or just a RJM Mastermind PBC and run the outputs of the preamps through a Two Notes Torpedo CAB with a bunch of different cab sim irs and mic positions to play with, lol
@@richardwilliams1310 I just put together a rig similar to that but smaller. Mooer Baby Boom, Mooer Black Knight, Mooer Groove Loop, Mooer Shimverb, and a CNZ Mod Station. All through a Vox BC108. Sounds incredible.

What cab/speaker were you using?
I own a Mesa, and it's disgusting how close the Cali Mk3 is tone wise. for what $230 you have what I paid $3000 for.
Chris Carter Isn’t it incredible. In a live situation, nobody could tell the difference.

Could you share info about cab, speaker and mic you have been using during playing ? By the way I have 009 model incl AMAZING Mooer Radar and Baby Bomb as well. I have been running it through 1x12 Montge cab with several speakers. In my opinion Legend 1218 kills. I had as well Swamp Thang, The Tonker, Legend V128, CV75, The Governor
Great demo, really appreciated the time spent running through each of them in turn.
A question: for someone looking to use these in place of a clean amp + cabinet + mic to run straight to the board, which of these pedals would work best at sounding great clean as well as taking overdrive and distortion pedals well without sounding thin, harsh, fizzy, lifeless or wooly?
Can I assume any of these preamps with baby bomb through a 2x12 cab can sound great at bedroom volumes??
Have the 003 & 004 - I’m going to take a wild guess here that ALL are much the same 🙄. Slight changes in gain structure & tone? Wish some came with Reverb - now THAT would be nice 👍🏼
They all model different amps, With high gain stuff, it's more subtle differences. But get into the 006 and 004 and there's some considerable differences I find. As for reverb, just get a reverb pedal to put after the preamps!

I have a question, do you connect the Baby Bomb in the cabinet with a speaker cable or a normal cable?
Use a speaker cable. It's a mini power amp afterall
What do you plug your baby bomb output into? Into a cab or active monitor?
how are people powering these pedals, they need 300 milliamps dont they?

It's micro preamp -> baby bomb -> a cabinet, but with which speakers? How do you capture the sound? What mic?
Wah>Fuzz>Octo>Comp>Eq>Distortion>Vibe>OD>"Preamp">Modulation>Trem>Reverb>"BabyBomb">Speaker(8 or 16 ohm). hope this helps
Can you use the footswitch to switch between the two channels or does the footswitch act as just an on and off for the pedal? It seems that you only used the button for the channel selection.
Both ways. You can change its functionality by pressing it for a couple of seconds
How do you turn the cab simulator on and off? The manual is confusing. Love the Day Tripper btw and I use it with the Baby Bomb 30. No more amp to lug to smaller gigs.
Daren Sweet Music maybe its to late but if u push the blue/red buttom like 2 seconds, the cab simulator turn off/on
Hello, you say you use the day tripper along with the baby bomb 30, into what though? A cab right? I am interested in using one of these or a Valeton Coral Amp with a Baby Bomb and a Fender Deluxe 1x12 cab. Will this work? Have always used Vox combo amps with amp modeling or a Tonelab floor pedal but want something more portable now.
@@socialdef3 It works. I split the signal with an ABY after my comp, a couple of pre-drive mod pedals, my drive pedals. Guitar>Fuzz>Comp/Boost>Mod(s)>Drives>ABY SPLIT>A & B:
A(wet)>Hotone Binary AMP (cab sim off on all presets)>Chorus(Mono, CE-2)>TC Mimiq>Digitech CabDryVR>Stereo Digital Delays, Stereo Tremolo>Stereo Reverb>FOH
B(dry-ish)Everything before the Hotone>either a 002 or 006 Preamp>Analog Delay>Tech 21 Rotochoir>Baby Bomb>Bassbreaker 112 cab. It's my "de-facto Rotary" speaker. Works a treat. Great to have a real cab onstage with my DI'd tone.

I use 011 micro preamp with delay and boost it with mxr overdrive zack wyld. And also noise gate. It sound awesome
Does it make sense to use the Baby Boom into a sound system? Or just the pre amp is the sufficient?
It isn't called "Baby *Bomb*" for nothing...
baby bomb into sound system is not a good idea. its purpose is to boost the amperage of your signal to move real speaker driver cones in a cabinet; to plug into a system, get the mooer Radar or other cab simulator.
