In bullet both players have v ery little time. Usually there's a lot of blunders made and the majority of those are missed. A decent player with a few minutes could totally beat Danya if he has under 10 seconds, you can always make checks or captures that don't really work but he isn't expecting them (precisely because they don't work), so he needs to spend precious time adjusting to the unexpected position.

Sometimes I watch these videos and because Danyais such a good teacher it makes me feel as though I'm actually good at chess because I can answer the questions he poses, but then I'm always brought back down to earth and am made to realise just how far off his level I am when he shows his calculations like at the end of this video.
When i watched Queen Gambit and she did the calculations on the ceilings.. i was like Wow… now realising.. Damn all these GMs have that ability… Nice calculations at the end…
They don't actually visualise pieces on the ceiling mind, they visualise in their head and are merely looking away. You can confirm this from Magnus and Hikaru by watching their video on the Queen's Gambit TV series

Baruchpierwszy played amazingly. Analyzing the game with stockfish shows amazing counterplay hidden in his position, and to Naroditsky's credit he never took that foot off the gas and kept creating attacking chances.
The lesson here (refer 36:35) is that I am no GM! I could never really calculate through to find that defensive resource. The defense is not too hard to find once the position is played out and black would have definitely found it. I have lost in nice flashy ways in attempting to win like this and won many times against players who thought they had a winning attack via sacrificing.

I have a surprisingly good win rate with the danish. I feel like no matter what happens i get a really good position out of the opening
It's all about marketing. You never let an opponent survive for more than 10 moves if they accept your Danish.

Lichess uses the latest stockfish at least.

Skewers and pins are very similar. The difference is what piece is more valuable. Skewers are where the most valuable piece is being attacked

Knights often have high kinetic energy, while rooks typically have high potential energy in the opening and middle game.
You can only scare or capture Knights; you cannot block them. Pawns have the highest potential energy, for obvious reasons.
