Hey man! We talked years ago about our integras, i had a 1992 da9 that i was fixing up. I uust wanted to let you know its fi ally on the road! It still needs minor things but we got there!
It has been a while. I really want to get back into it but with the kid and the job, time is minimal. I have two videos half edited I never had a chance to finish. I'm going to try to get them up before spring and hopefully make time to record something new. I'll try my best but thanks for asking bro.
Thanks a lot bud. I have two videos in queue to edit but between work and procrastination, I haven't had a chance. Comments like this inspire me though so I thank you.
Hey altek I own a 2013 WRX hatch, and I’m completely dying for an update on what’s going on with your Subaru you sold. Hopefully you buy it back, I love your channel hope all is well.
Hey bud. Well I haven't spoken to Brandon recently, but he's the one who rebuilt it after the most recent problem. Last year he sent me a video of him ripping it up around the track with a new motor and 6spd transmission. You've inspired me to ping him and see if he has time to do an update video. Recording it will be easy, it's the video editing that takes me forever. But let's see what he comes back with. And I appreciate the kind words, I'm going to start working on a few things I recorded late last year now that my little man is sleeping better.
@@Altek1 Aw man this makes me so happy!! watching your videos is always a good time. It’s good to hear that the car has been rebuilt and loved by someone else, other than sitting in a junk yard rotting away. Keep up the great work.
Much appreciated my friend. The one thing I asked Brandon is to keep it looking stock. I almost did the mud flaps and red taillights but I felt the stock look ended up being unique since everyone modded. All I asked was that he kept it looking professional and the last I saw he did. I did want to set the car on fire after the pain it caused, but of all people, I'm happy it went to him. Still haven't heard back from him but I'll hopefully be able to follow up with him soon.
Hi, as the proud owner of a 1986 Defender 90 Id love to do this EV conversion to keep her running on the road for another 30+ years. Is there a parts list for this conversation?
Hi Chris, High level parts list: (1) Blue 1988 (Defender) 90 (1) Hyper9HV DS motor & controller (7) Tesla 18650 batteries (1) AmpRevolt battery box (1) Orion BMS2 (1) Elcon 6.6kw charger (1) Adapter by CANEV (motor face to clutch housing) (1) water circulator pump, (1) radiator fan, (1) inline heater (1) Raspberry Pi with custom software, several IO boards and a CAN adapter (137) rolls of electrical tape If I decide to try this again and make an actual parts list at the end of the project, I will post it.
I'm thinking it's something local to you. I spot checked it and it synced up on my end. You scared me for a bit since I didn't double check the export before uploading.
Good to see you around man... 👍🏼
I have two more videos to edit. Aiming for consistency, we'll see how that turns out.
Man you gotta post at least once a month, your vid style, antics, and edit style are strong suits.. loved your wrx videos
Hope all is good! Hopefully you make a comeback one day dude

@@michaeldangelo please share Mike, this is incredibly cool and the future state for my defender as well. “Eventually.”
Bad ass video
It almost sacrilegious. I remember when these trucks were crazy expensive, probably still are. As long as Lucas wasn't involved in this project...
Omg😍😍
not sure if its just me, seems to be audio to video sync issues. could be youtube messed up
